Folks could not have been nicer or more thorough. The mechanic took time to walk me through exactly what they did. Who does that anymore? Very trustworthy and knowledgeable.

They are the best of the best! I brought my 2016 VW Jetta to them (obviously not for the 1st time) and they took great care of it within reasonable time and proper pricing. I wish I had Porsche because it would be in their care as well! 😌 if you have new or older Euro car, this is your spot to go. And if you need a sign of confirmation, I am giving 10/5 stars sign guys! 😊 best people and best service, and with big impact in local community as well.

I’m new to Dougherty and happy to have discovered them. My VW GTI had a dead battery and needed the inspection done as well. Turns out it never had a proper tune up in its five years, so that was done too. Days later, with the check engine light persistently on, some crack investigation discovered the problematic and rather old damage to the wiring harness - which is situated in the difficult area adjacent to the fuel port!! All those things taken care of over a couple days, and me with a loner car….no small deal. Great work and a clear love of doing it; like I said, I’m happy to have discovered Dougherty.

I have been taking my Porsche and BMWs to Dougherty for over 20 years. They are trustworthy and great at explaining what needs to be done. They have a really clean shop with great mechanics. Ryan and Brian are great to work with.

Ryan is looking out for you. Once I decided to buy a Porsche, and knowing I am not a gearhead. I had no idea what I was doing. He went far above and beyond to make sure I knew I was taken care of. He genuinely cares about his reputation and keeping his people happy and comfortable. I've had it for almost a month now and I love it so much.

I had been going to the dealership to get my car serviced for years. Once my warranty ran out I noticed that each time I went to get a routine service done there were always other issues ending in huge bills. When I was quoted over $6000 for maintenance fees I took my car to Dougherty’s for a second opinion. Some of the issues found at the dealership weren’t what they said and I ended up paying less than $2000. Big difference! They are fair and fast and trustworthy. It’s nice to know you won’t be taken advantage of and their work is top notch! Highly recommend!

Searched for a good independent shop for my 2021 Macan S. Found one in Dougherty in West Chester. Annual service was performed quickly and expertly. Savings off a dealer shop to be determined.

Prompt reliable courteous service. They make you feel like part of the family. There are many closer options including dealers but I drive over an hour because I trust them.

I had Dougherty’s do a pre purchase inspection of a Porsche I was interested in buying and they were awesome! They were so nice, thorough in their inspection and explanation to me and were able to do more quickly than I expected. And never once did they try to “man-splain”. 20/10 recommend if you need honest & reliable work on your Porsche.

Went here for ppi as an out of state buyer. The PPI itself seemed fine, but after I paid they went silent. I asked for the missing cylinder photo from the compression test and photos for backup, but never got a response. Disappointing lack of follow-through after payment.

This was my first time having my 2009 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI, 68k miles..serviced at Dougherty Automotive....had state inspection and mileage interval maintenance including oil change.. also diagnose CEL...everything went great.... I have follow-up service, scheduled for next week.....to be continued......... my 2nd maintenance work scheduled the following week...a loner car was provided .. for this work would take 3+ days to complete... EGR Valve/DPF system and Timing belt with kit....extensive job...I am pleased with the updates Dougherty provided during the repairs...highly recommend this shop...well qualified service and support team...👍👍👍👍👍

We had a unique check engine light problem that our local service shop could not diagnose or fix and one of his mechanics recommended Dougherty because they have the right equipment and expertise for Volkswagens. Not only do they have the technical equipment and know how but also are courteous and professional in their dealing with the customer. Brian was our contact and kept us updated on the progress and also made some recommendations for the future. We are happy with the outcome.

Dougherty has been servicing my car for 2 years now, and they are consistently professional, transparent and thorough. The facility itself is very clean and well-maintained. They seem to have the equipment and expertise to meet the needs of cars of all vintages. Perhaps the highest endorsement comes from their loaner, a 2011 Audi Q5. It has about 170K miles on it, and not a single warning light is on. Now THAT is an accomplishment!

Dougherty did an amazing job with a PPI on my vehicle. They had several options to select from, their communication was professional and they were very thorough with their work. I really appreciated the friendly nature of the employees. Often times I find many businesses try to get you off the phone quickly, but that was not the case with Dougherty. They took the time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable with a vehicle I was purchasing from across the country. I highly recommend Dougherty!

I had a great shopping experience with Ryan.His shop is very well organized and the employees are very polite and helpful..A very nice ambiance.The waiting area nicely decorated and very clean with drinks and snacks available for the customers and the cherry on top was the welcoming committee his adorable puppies.The transaction was fast and smooth no hassles.I would highly recommend this shop. Dougherty is an import specialist repairing many brands, but with a major emphasis on Porsche. Appointments are made via a phone call, not an app! The reception area is clean and modern. Services and prices are clearly explained. Those prices are noticeably lower than through the Porsche dealership. Service advice is given, discussed, not pushed. Motul brand oil was used in our car. I know it is considered the best oil available for performance engines. I was impressed that they use this brand. The oil change included a new drain plug and sealing ring, as the dealership would use. All services were clearly explained. Very nice people and easy to do business with. Highly recommend.

Bought a used car at a fair price for the amount of work placed into the car. The engine looked clean, works great. I did, however, get a check engine a week after purchase. Dougherty was happy to help me in a time of need and took care of the cost. These people seem genuinely nice and are willing to help if the can. I would definitely buy another car from them in the future.

What a great place to have my vehicle serviced! I do not own a European car, but they were able to fix the issue I was having with air leaking from my tire. Very informative, super friendly, and a quick turn around. I will definitely be back, this shop is tucked away from the main drag and feels like a best kept secret! I had to come back to this review because I just bought a car from Ryan. He was super professional and never pressured me to make any decision. I felt confident purchasing a vehicle here and I know I'm going to highly recommend both the shop and the dealer for all vehicle needs to everyone I know!
