I took my truck to Graham Automotive to fix a few things. All was going well for the most part, but they ended up taking an extra day on my truck because they broke some bolts for my valve cover. I get that they were old, but those are low torque bolts and they should not have broken, but I understand that it happens. But they changed my break fluid and did not seal something correctly. My brake light came on the following day and I made it back to Graham with very little fluid to spare. They fixed it, but there was no discount offered. Just an apology. I hope I just had a bad experience, but making sure the brake fluid is not leaking should be a high priority. I hate leaving a bad review, but I did not have a good experience.

Very dishonest place. They wanted $1000 just to replace my breaks! Took it somewhere else got it done for $450.

They are outstanding! Always honest and timely. They do not over charge and we appreciate them greatly! They do great work. Thanks guys!

My car was in their shop on and off for several months. Spent 1700 for parts and labor. Several hundred on towing fees and Uber. My issue was misdiagnosed multiple times. It was finally determined that I needed a new engine. I was told I could spend an additional 5K or go pound sand. There was no attempt to make things right. I could have used that money on a down payment. The owner Kevin is thin skinned and spineless. When I spoke to him on the phone he immediately got defensive and started throwing his techs under the bus. You’d be better off going Daytona’s right down the street.

Passing through town and ran into a problem with our breaks, ABS lights came on, said bring it in they’ll check it out before lunch. 2 hours with zero updates we’ve just been standing outside with our dog. We call and are told 15 maybe 20 minutes longer they think it’s a sensor issue, a half hour later we call again and they are double checking and have ordered a new part that’s not here yet but will be soon, 30 minutes after that we ask again, literally no information given, an hour later we got a should be done soon, finally 15 minutes after this we got our car back. The part price was fair. Don’t know if $80 for less than 30 minutes of work (we had to stay so we saw when it was being worked on) is fair even before the 4+ of wait time. Totally get that emergency walk ins might take more time they said they had an opening at 1 if they couldn’t see it before lunch. It was after 1:30 when we called the first time, do not make time based promises you cannot keep would be about half as mad if i didn’t keep expecting it to be done soon or at least get an update with the new estimated time.

They are absolutely honesty, adorable, and the owner test drove my car himself and went above and beyond!! originally went to Rick’s automotive for a diag costing $130 and a quote for $1200 in repairs for spark plugs and 02 sensors! Came here to Grahams Automotive and walked out paying $18 for a dirty engine filter replacement and NO check engine light on anymore after they changed it and went and drove it! No codes showing! Driving fine. As a single mother and student here in Springfield, I highly recommend this shop for anyone who doesn’t want to get scammed! They are amazing! And will come to them for any further issues!

I had my truck towed here for an alignment with a complete new front end and had an alignment done they sent me home with the alignment and said to tell them if it was bad and if it was to come back and I could pay when it got finished The caster was very out on my control arms causing torque steer and speed wobbling I had my truck towed back and while the truck was late getting there there was no one on the rack getging work done nd I was turned away niw ive spent almost 1000 dollars for a shitty alighnment t on a 10000 dollar truck

David and Matt really care about providing good service with follow up if necessary. I highly recommend Graham automotive. Make an appointment; they are busy because they are good!

i took my car to them to have a coil from my engine changed. i spoke with them prior and they said they would check my car out to fix the problem. i get my car back and it’s still not fixed so i call them again and tell them to which they say “we will have someone drive around with you to see”. i’ll be taking my car back this morning and i’m really annoyed. i specifically asked them if they checked these issues and they told me yes just for my car to continue with the problem. how much will i have to pay now for them to fix their mistake?!? charging someone 300$ for ONE coil?! it’s absolutely insane. EDIT; they put in a new coil and did not charge me again. they owned up to their mistake and fixed the issue. let’s hope the second part isn’t broken like the first one was.

The entire staff was kind to me. When I called to schedule an appointment it was easy to get in. As I was sitting in the waiting room area before starting on my window, the mechanic came in and explained to me what was going on and gave me an estimate. He told me that he would try another technique first but if that didn’t work his solution. I truly appreciated that because if the price change or adjusted that’s good to know before a mechanic completes it. That way you are all on the same page. After fixing my window, they cleaned it as well. As a woman, I didn’t feel like they overcharged me and the fact that they took out time to communicate with me to let me know what was going on with my vehicle, is AMAZING!

Went there to get an alignment and told them to look the front end over while it was there as the tires where wearing oddly. After getting the car back it still had issues so I looked over it for a total of 5 minutes or less before I found they had not looked over anything as the control arm bushing was completely gone. Needless to say I paid $90 for an alignment that made no difference because the control arm is a very big part of keeping a car on the road and missing something like that could cause bigger problems as in wheel assembly falling off and causing an accident. If you don’t know much about cars do not trust them, would hate for some family to have a wreck due to their inability to do their job

I have no idea what to say about this place. The amount of compassion and knowledge that Kevin has shown towards my situation was a blessing. NEVER in my life have I experienced this at a company, let alone anything these days. It seems as though, compassion, caring, thoughtfulness, and professionalism has been in short supply these days. I couldn't repay Kevin, David and their team for all hard work and extra care they have shown me. All I can say is, I will shout, comment, and tell everyone I can about you, and hope they each will see what kind of place this is. I know I wasn't the easiest, but hard work and thoroughness can pay off for the long run. I promise! Whatever you do folks, when your running away from Daytona's down the road, come here and be treated with respect you deserve and honesty. PS. None of the staff, talked down to me because I am a woman. They treated me with respect and listened to my concerns. That, in the automotive world, or any for that matter, is important!

Kevin and his team are awesome. They care more about the safety of the customer, and ensuring their vehicles are operating properly, safely, and efficiently, over everything else. Once again today, I took my car there. Once again, they took care of my car, not only the scope of work I went in for, but he took care of a few other issues, without charge, again ensuring my vehicle was good. Kevin operates, in an industry, that is flooded with people who take advantage of women. Graham's has never taken advantage of me, as a woman, in an industry where women are often overcharged, and work performed, unnecessarily. I have used Graham's for 20 years. I am continually grateful, that over the years, when I needed help, they helped without hesitation or question. Even today, I walked out of the shop, asking, "are you sure, that is all I owe?...." especially knowing Kevin took care of those other smaller things, that I didn't even know needed attention. And to not charge me? Kevin is trustworthy, honest, and truly puts customer safety, over all else, even at his own expense. Thank you, Kevin, and team. I appreciate you all. I gave you permission and opportunity to do whatever you thought needed done, today, based on the mileage and preventative maintenance, for my specific vehical. You took care of everything that was a need, certainly more, than i knew .... and yet, I walked out scrating my head, because I expected it to be way more. You continue to earn my trust, respect and business. May the blessing you are to people, come back to you, ten fold.

A year ago I was having problems with my car the place I took it to get an oil change said I needed to take it to a shop so a friend simply said it may need a serpentine belt so I relayed that info to Graham automotive They didn’t check anything else out and replaced the serpentine belt charging me $265 and even told me the belt was fine. It did not fix things… I took it to another shop and it needed spark plugs. After writing a review they said they would make it right and give me a credit for the money spent towards oil changes or windshield wipers. When I called to schedule an oil change the person on the phone was very rude and wanted to argue with me about the situation and therefore I said I would never bring my business to them again.

An outstanding place to get your vehicle repaired. I've been in the business myself since 1971 and unfortunately, things have progressed to a point that you just can't do most repairs at home anymore. I'm very selective when it comes to someone else working on anything of mine. I must say, Graham's has proven to be honest and professional in anything I've ask them to do. They replaced an engine in my daily driver some time ago and it's still running like a top and getting 37 MPG doing it. They just finished repairs on my wife's car. To say I'm happy with the results is an understatement. There are a lot of shops in Springfield and I'm sure others are doing good work ( BUT ) I will always go to Kevin and his gang because they have proven to me that they are honest, trustworthy and capable. Thank you Kevin for a great experience.

I pulled in and asked them to take a look at my taillights and break lights and they said I needed to order a part, the owner gave me a temporary fix until the part came in!! I ordered the part and will be returning for them to install!! Most mechanic shops would order the part and double the price!! I am so happy I decided to stop by and actually have helpful men that won't take advantage of women needing assistance.. from now on they will get All of my business

Kevin has fixed my boyfriend's car and my step dad's over the years and has done a great job. Very friendly, honest and reliable place. Always fixes the problem within a timely fashion and truly has your best interest in mind. Won't try to screw you over like other places would. Hands down the best in town.

Called them about my Jetta got us in within couple days and and got back by a few hours. Good guys and even found a couple other things they brought to our attention. I would highly recommend them and good price too...thank you guys so much

Very pleased that I took my car here. Had a bad engine problem. The people at the auto shop (where I first took it) told me to sell the car, implying, it's probably totaled and the cost to fix would be over the value of the car. However, they recommended Graham Automotive as one place to try. Took it there. Was NOT the thousands of dollars people said it would be. It was fixed up well. Very friendly. Very fast. Actually within a couple of weeks, just a small secondary issue, but when I took it back they fixed it right away and said it was covered under the warranty. I very highly recommend this place.

I have been taking my vehicles to Kevin and Graham Automotive since 2007 and followed them from the old location to the current one. Every time, they have taken care of me and kept it affordable. Make an appointment for the best use of your time and theirs since they can get busy. They will get the job done right. I recommend them all the time.

The best auto place I have found yet in this city! What three mechanics couldn't fix on my car, this amazing crew happily and energetically accomplished thank God! They don't try to trick you here, or fill you will be! They are the best in Springfield. I highly, highly recommend to everyone! Amazing staff and crew! Thank you guys!?

I took my old Volvo into Graham and they could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They got my car in, in a timely manner, and were efficient and knowledgeable about the repairs. I'm very happy I worked with them, and I know I'll be back the next time my car needs work!

Great guys who know what they’re talking about. I normally wouldn’t let ANYONE touch my ride, but I knew who to turn to when my alternator went out around the time of my recent back surgery. If you have an import or luxury auto, these are the guys you need to see. No funny-business and they treat you and your car with the upmost respect.

If I have any further issues with my car I will definitely take it back here. The service was the best I have ever had on a vehicle outside of family repairs. He had my car longer than originally planned but accommodated me on getting to work and gave me a great unbeatable rate. He was kind and generous. The desk guy wasn't super friendly but did his job so no major complaint there he just needs to be a little more personable. At least he wasn't rude though. Overall my exoexperie was amazing and I would recommend him to anyone who has an issue with their car.

TL;DR, amazing customer service, very respectful, would recommend/bring my vehicle again if I were in the area. I am from out of town and was visiting family in Springfield when my spouse's 2007 Jeep 5.7 Commander's starter died the day after Christmas. I called a few places who questioned my judgement (I have worked at a few shops, I maintainence my own Jeeps, I am not misinformed on an issue as simple as a starter) or had no time. I called Graham's and spoke with Kevin who is absolutely wonderful. I decided to have my work done with Graham's much in part to his willingness to speak to me as an equal, he was the friendliest person I'd heard from and how quickly he could get me in. In addition to the starter, they discovered the waterpump had recently blown its seal. (I had noticed just before having the vehicle towed that the coolant was low and assume it was my spouse not checking the fluids, as usual) It was warrantied through another shop in the Fort Leonard Wood area, though there was a snag with the labour cost. I asked to check it out and verify the leak before authorizing replacement, just to be safe, and Kevin was happy to let me. He also worked with me on the warranty issue and I was rolling again ASAP. Super happy, thank you so much!

I called Graham with an ignition issue and after explaining it they quoted me half the price that I'd been quoted at a dealership (no real surprise there). But after some further explanation the guy mentioned he had a family member who'd had a similar issue and used a local locksmith to fix it for less that $100 and gave the locksmith's info. I ended up saving over $500 because of this tip ($1,000 had the dealership done the work). Though I've never actually had any work done at their shop I was impressed with this interaction. Update: Since this review I've used Graham for inspections as well as some minor repair work. They're always very courteous, friendly and quick.

I can't give a good enough review for this place. Most honest and skilled mechanics in Springfield. They are exceptionally good at what they do as well as always friendly and well priced. I never have to worry about having something fixed or added on with out getting a phone call first. I had shopped around for years around here for a good, honest, skilled mechanic. After finding these guys I'll never go to anyone else. I'll recommend them to everyone that needs auto work done or just needs something looked at.
