Filled out info on line instantly my credit took a 26 point drop. Kevin called told him I wanted to look at a truck. When we got there we didn’t see the truck on the lot that he said he had . Proceeded to go in to speak with him. Waited about 15 mins. Instantly he wanted proof income and our ids (still hadn’t seen the truck). We couldn’t pull our paycheck stubs up so he requested our bank statements. Kept insisting I look at an suv. Made me feel very uncomfortable because he didn’t need that much info. After telling him that, he left and sent another guy back. We told him we can go print our pay stubs off and come back. He told us that he needed them and we agreed and he asked are you sure you want a truck I told him yes if I’m going to be making payments I’m going to pay on something I want. He then told us because we have no car rental history ( we’ve never made payments on a car we out right buy) he couldn’t put us in a car. All because they sold the truck they said they had and we refused another type of vehicle. Their characters portrayed were not who we thought they were. They knew they didn’t have the truck proceeded to try to get our info tried to push us into another vehicle lied and then turned around and blamed us for their unprofessionalism. The point was to make payments on a car to bring my 705 credit score to an 800. I was 705 after there application on line it’s now 679 and I didn’t even get the vehicle I was told was there. Never again. Crooked car sales man and their lies. Stay away from small car lots. We went to Mayse. Very professional no lies straight forward and actually worked with us on finding the vehicle we wanted. Also, you can be financed for a car if you’ve never made car payments before?

Christy was so awesome she was so sweet and helpful I recommend her to any and everyone. She has a great a personality I recommend her if anyone is coming to buy a car from Byrider. She will get you into a vehicle with no problem. She works hard and keeps a smile on her face while trying to get you approved. If I can add more stars I would give her 10?

An indirect way was laughed off a lot for not having appropriate time at work and reasonable adequate finances in their eyes Avoid doing business with this place at all cost, they will drain your credit score very quickly and leave you with nothing in the end. #boycottBYRIDERSPRINGFIELD Update: They will continue to harass you to come back to their dealership when they forget To hand you your documents, And they insist on you finding your own way around when you are on a very limited setting of getting around the area. This place needs to be taken out of business and the company that owns Byrider needs to be sued and reprimanded by the FTC as well as a Better Business Bureau and the Missouri Attorney General’s office as well. I will immediately start seeking an attorney to take my case and sue them not only for myself, but on behalf of all people they’ve screwed up and messed up the credit on over the years and have failed to promise what they promised to deliver.

Byrider has been amazing! I had some financial issues over the past couple years and my credit dropped. Byrider was still able to get me approved! They didn't dictate what car I had to get. They worked to get me approved for the car I wanted! Christy and Paul were great!

I went in to find a car and found Christy to be very informative and helpful. Everyone was very customer oriented. I wound up buying the car I had seen online. I recommend using them for your next car purchase. A tire sensor went out on my car after having it for a while. I called the service department, and they were able to get my car in right away. It didn’t take long to fix and was out of there sooner than I thought I would be. I was also able to pay off the car which didn’t take long either. Again, I do recommend using them for your next car purchase.

Nov. 1st 2025 Car was involved in a petty accident - pulled out of neighborhood onto E Battlefield at around 5 pm on a Saturday - no one was injured - car was hit but it took mostly cosmetic damage - the only thing was that the left headlight had been taken out completely & it was in need of repair to drive on the road legally - get it to Byrider the next day using AAA & this is STILL NOT OVER - as of today - it’s been 98 days since I dropped my car off to Byrider. The employees working there have shown practically no sense of professionalism or integrity during this time period where being without a vehicle has altered the situation of far more than the one paying the car payments. It’s ironic the kindest person on the whole team is in the billing dept. Here’s where the issues come up though & I think Byrider has more of an issue than the rest of us here — There are warranty laws for a reason. There has never been anything said by the employees about the rebate owed by Byrider for the work that is being done to this car to get it back legally driving on the road. There has been questions asked that have not came by the employees here at this company. Instead they lie - giving 3 days out of a 7 week period that the car was “done” & upon arriving to Byrider, no car could be found on the entire lot. So for reminder — Federal Law - Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act Byrider strictly forbid the use of ANY other mechanic other than the one they have on payroll — they state by not using their mechanic, they invalidate the warranty on your car - they are demanding this while also demanding your car payments/insurance on time & have not given any word on when the rebate happens for the money spent fixing the headlight & cosmetic problems with the car. By Federal Law - Byrider must provide these repairs to the car for free since the warranty will be voided if the car was taken elsewhere for repairs. We are almost to Valentines Day 2026 - Thanksgiving 25’ - Christmas 25’ - New Years Day & all of the school events x3 that have happened in between the holidays have been some of the most stressful, intense days without a car. It doesn’t make anything any better to go back & see exactly the behavior & attitudes a concerned customer is experiencing due Byriders lack of communication, & inability to control their emotions in a workplace setting. If there was ever a reason for me to recommend my friends to a new place to buy a good car that’s simultaneously a friendly place with nice employees - it would be Byrider I tell them about first - but it would just be me getting terrified & screaming “NOT JD BYRIDER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD”

Absolutely love this place!! 20/10!!! Edwin and Kaylee were so helpful and both had great personalities and made us feel so welcome everyone was so friendly!! I would recommend them to everyone!! Honestly can’t find people who love their job as much and are so honest!! One of the few places that actually care about their customers!! Definitely should go see Edwin and Kaylee!!!!!

I Have had nothing but issues with my car since August it’s been in the shop multiple times this company lies and doesn’t take care of their cars they want to put the cheapest oil in. Every month something is going out on it and I keep being told that that’s common for my car or there’s nothing wrong you will be fine. BS now my catalyst converter is gone out right after I got an oil change it put the correct oil in my car that is required and all BYRIDER wants to do is put the cheap shit in . All they care about if money I will spread word not to go here

I drove 2 hours the first time and 6 hours the second time and both times I was turned away after being told to come see them and I wouldnt be leaving without a vehicle. The sales man bold faces lied to me. I brought everything they asked for the second time and even had 2 co signers with excellent credit and they still made excuses as to why they couldn't sell me a car. Total waste of my time and patience.

They're very caring and work hard figure out how to help you if you have any questions they answer them and you can tell that they care about working to help you get into a vehicle. I just bought my 2nd car from Byrider because I had such a good experience the first time. They worked with my credit and my finances and found me something that checked all my boxes and set up a plan I could afford that works for both of us. All the sales people were so friendly, but I was really happy to get to work with Christy. The in house financing is also really helpful and makes it so there's clear communication on every level. I've been recommending Byrider Springfield for the past 3 years and I'm going to continue to!

Good buying experience, great coverage for repairs within 48k miles or 4 years with only a 50 dollar deductible per repair. Christine was awesome and helped me get into the vehicle I needed with bad credit they still approved me.

My fiancée recommended us to go here again since he already had a great experience with them before we got together.We been needing a newer and more reliable vehicle and Byrider did us right. This place so far is wonderful! From the greeting at the door, to myself stepping into a beautiful vehicle, they were very attentive to my wants and needs, they worked with my bad credit, and having their credit company "In House" I was able to speak to very nice and welcoming folks that did ALL they could to make sure I was taken proper care of. They have an ELITE mechanic squad ran by a very open-shop leader that works for your car, and your wellbeing. PLUS, this company, as long as YOU treat your car properly, they will make your car owning life SO stress free. Believe me guys, ByRider is the NUMBER ONE SPOT. Thanks kiddos! ;)

I would have given five stars, but I do wish I would have been able to go home and look at my finances and think about everything and come back the next day to get the car and that I had a choice in car-not just one with a choice of 2 colors, so that is the only reason I gave 4 stars. Jesse was very excited and stated a review was very important so I am sorry I didn’t post it that night as he asked, but here it is-a day and a half after. Thank you and your team very much! Below is my full review. This was my first time at this car dealership that takes care of everything in house and this is my review of the experience I and my daughter had with it. Jesse(sales), Donna(finance), and Dave(manager) were my and my daughter’s team. They were exceedingly nice and very supportive-even though I was anxious and wanted to go home and think about things-they remained cheerful and kept encouraging me that they would do everything they could to get us a car and they did. They worked very well as a team. They really are unique in how they sell their cars to you. They are a complete in-house business as stated above. They process your financials and then instead of telling you an amount you are approved for(example: like a regular loan or credit card) they give you a list of a cars you can pick. For us they gave only one car to pick-a Chevy sonic 2017 in a choice of red or blue. I asked the price, but Jesse said he didn’t know so I am guessing that it is just part of their process of financing you. They also offered to do taxes with their in-house tax service, but I had three W-2s and they said that was too many and my daughter’s would not have worked, but this would definitely help other people which is wonderful. They do require a down payment and so I asked about going and doing my taxes on my own and coming back with the money as more of a down payment and Jesse said it wouldn’t make much difference in the loan-again, I am guessing is part of their financing process. Also, what was nice, is when Jesse asked how we liked the car and I told him I did not like the color of either car (as I said, I was anxious and I really didn’t know If I actually wanted to purchase that day), he did come back with a gray one, a year older but with a little less mileage. Then, they start the financing paperwork and as we were signing-we got to the page that showed the price of the car and the payment-so that is when you find out the price. We had been there around 5 hours by then (1-7:30pm with a test drive of the blue one) and I was tired and anxious and I asked again about coming back the next day so I could go home and do my budget and see if it would really work for us. Again, Jesse was very kind and he pointed out that a lot of people had put in a lot of time and effort today for us and that things can change day by day there so there was a possibility it would not be the same the next day. So I went ahead and continued, and we got that car. The next day when I had gotten to drive the car a little bit, I noticed a clanking over the right front hood and that the key fob was not working right, I called Jesse and he told me to come in. The key fob was new so he said I just had to work with it and press it down and hold it and then he took me to the service area which was amazing and looked at the noise and said that they would call and schedule an appointment with me, and then when I also pointed out that the inside of the car had not been cleaned (it was dark by the time I saw the inside of the car the night before) Jesse said that he would make sure and include a better cleaning when the clanking noise gets fixed. So I am waiting for a call from the in-house team and I will post an update on my review. I am very glad I purchased the in-house warranty. I hope this review is helpful. Thank you to my entire team. They are very nice people whom are very kind. .
