I arrived the 11th, via Rpm towing and while i wasnt greeted and immediately attended to by the staff in the service office, I can say that the individuals that i dealt with (Sean, and mike) were decent enough to discuss my truck issues with! In my opinion the whole staff can benefit from learning hospitable skills that will aid the overall experience for the customers as well as create a pleasant environment thats welcoming and efficient! I did receive a few vague eta’s as to when my truck would be ready but wasnt given clear instructions upon my arrival to see mike or whoever’s in charge of checking out repaired trucks (which would have been preferable) i informed Sean of my arrival and he told me mike’s out of the office and he’ll inform him that im waiting in the drivers lounge… after an hour i went and glanced in the office and still didnt see Mike so i continued to wait a little longer. Around 12:30 (after lunch) i met mike in the office where he made it a point to tell me my truck had been done and he wasnt informed that i had been here this whole time! Lol but he promptly handed me my keys and gave a decent farewell! My overall experience was a pleasant one and i highly recommend this service shop to anyone! The work area where the trucks are being repaired is clean and in order! The driver lounge has comfortable seating (3 lazy boys no recline) a tv hung on the wall but i never used, a bathroom with attached shower(very convenient) but i didnt use and vending machines that werent in operation (bummer lol) also a nice sized microwave was carefully thought of for our convenience and enjoyment! 3 big windows oversee the parking lot of repaired trucks so you can look for yourselves to see if your truck is ready or still yet to be repaired! Thank you Mike and Sean and the great staff at Tri-State may 2026 be an improved fiscal year!??
The parts department was very helpful and accommodating. My truck broke down 2 miles from the service center. The service center was so helpful that they delivered the requested parts and I was able to continue on my journey. Very helpful and accommodating. I am very grateful for their willingness.
When it’s crunch time and your in a bind theses Gents and Company is a must go to. Every one has the customer service we all look for that’s just about extinct in these ages. When you’re wanting that atmosphere of a clean shop,5 star rating customer service and years of experience and knowledge, positive attitude and confidence and giving courtesy with a smile they are a must go to. I enjoy and look forward to going in and letting them put their skills to work because at the end of the day I feel comfortable that we were treated as a customer should be treated. Look this company and their knowledgeable staff up you will not be dissatisfied !

Jonathan ma man. This guy is a knowledge beast I came to this shop with tow truck. and because my truck electrical components were no functioning properly.walk in very nice welcoming people and assign me to this skillful gentleman..
took him 10 minutes to fix it.when I was told it was serious issue by love stop road assistance.

Very professional and friendly establishment! I would recommend to everyone. Did my yearly inspection yesterday. They seemed very busy but took the time to take my truck in and inspect. I was there for about 30 min and very happy with the service
My husband had to bring his truck in for needed repairs. Mike did a great job of answering all his questions and Max did a great job of getting his truck fixed and back on the road in a timely manner. I have was here 2 times the first time I was here for 8 hours they fixed 1 thing and had to order parts to be sent. Whoever was working on my truck left the door open on my APU unit. I guess because I must have left the unit on inside he shut it off at the main switch. I didnt realize until later that evening that the door was open it also was raining so the inside got drenched.
The 2nd time I had a better experience my parts came in. they got me in and out within about 3 hours .
They have a nice lounge with comfy seats tv vending machines and a shower inside.
Our driver had 2 hours to spare to get his last furniture stop off or he would be stuck out all weekend. After having his driver side mirror taken out in a construction zone by another commercial truck he assumed he would not make it home for his reset! Mike and his crew at Tri-State Truck Center made sure that didn’t happen! Had our driver in and out in an hour! Thanks
I brought my truck in and was told I had a 2 hour wait until someone could look at it but they were able to pull it in a lot sooner. Mike was the guy to handle all questions and concerns I had. He had an answer for everything and met me with the truth on everything. The guys here are more than amazing and will make sure you leave with a smile on your face.
This place in Springfield, MO, is the best Volvo service center I have experienced in over 10 years of driving. Their staff are always friendly, and they work hard to diagnose and fix your truck issues quickly to get you back on the road! Highly Recommend!
I went to tri state with my 2016 volvo 780 believing I need a new turbo. The general manager put his top mechanic (Kevin)to diagnose my problem. They could of told my turbo was shot and I would have believed it,but they informed me it was a clogged pipe and a bad EGR pressure sensor.So not only are they are honest , But repaired my truck the same day !! From the Shop manager to all mechanics are outstanding. Thanks a lot ?
Well my whole week I had planned out is ruined. My truck was finished in 24 HOURS. Yes I said ONE DAY! 1440 MINUTES!
I planned to go out to a theme park, travel to Europe, watch the entire series of Breaking Bad for the 3rd time, write a novel about my life, give up on said novel and learn how to do a backflip in the time it usually takes for a Volvo to finish having work done on it especially with the check engine lights on.
I brought in my truck, had a laundry list of issues , and got my truck back next day everything resolved. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. This place gives even a Freighliner a run for its money .

These guys are great! Went there to have my refrigerator replaced, and they had me in and out in no time, even without an appointment. Forrest and his team are all friendly, knowledgeable, and won’t steer you wrong. Definitely the best maintenance experience I’ve ever had.
I rarely write reviews but I was in a bind on saturday and Logan the Service Manager went out of his way to help me resolve my trucks issue! He's very knowledgeable and kind to answer questions I had regarding other possible problems I've been having with my trucks emission system. Came in late on Sunday before they closed for a wiper motor issue. The service manager promptly verified the fault (recall). Fixed the issue, and pushed to get the repairs done. The staff is friendly and makes sure to meet the needs of the customer. I would give them more stars, but it only allows 5 star. I will definitely try to come to this dealership in the future for any issues with my truck.
Been coming here for years since I live close by. People in the service department have always been nice and friendly. I've got an '07 Volvo. I've been in it since '07. Company I leased the truck from at first was in charge of the maintenance. First clutch I got over 500,000 miles out of. As I did with the second also. Around 2012 I got it paid off and that's when I became a regular here. Had a few issues here over the years. But mostly minor stuff. But getting a clutch installed here has been a different story. They have installed the last three. The first clutch Springfield installed my mileage was 1000110. It lasted 391,433 miles. Not as good as the first two. But I can't really complain about that. Second one they installed on 11/19/2020. Made it to 4/29/2022 with only 96,125 miles. Under the 100,000 miles warrantee but over the 12 month part of the warrantee. OK, Just my bad luck the first time. But that one they installed on 4/29 was just replaced on 8/9/2023 with only 82,828 miles. I'm very easy on the clutch, hardly ever depress it while driving. I float the gears. Take it out of gear if I have to stop for long, like for a train. It was replaced in Omaha by the Volvo dealer 'TEC'. A little gear has come off. They said they have never seem that happen before. The mechanic showed me a piece of wood that is used in shipping the pressure plate. There are two of them. He said when installed and torque properly they fall out on to the floor. He said it appears it wasn't installed properly. In the picture that's it on the left. The other two are what they look like before. The shop manager in Omaha called the manager in Springfield.
Forrest the Springfield's manager wasn't willing to help out at all. Not willing to do the right thing. Says right there on the bill they didn't install it properly. I now feel now these last two both weren't installed properly. They were Springfield's fault. There is no way my driving caused two to go out before their time. I just wanted them to acknowledge that they bare some of the fault on this one and give me a little help. These weren't defective parts that was installed. This is Tri/State screwing up the job. Obviously they are only money driven and could care less about their customer service.
The service dept is top notch. I had multiple issues with the truck, but these nice folks helped get all the bugs out, as quickly as possible. I can't say enough good things about the service dept. Forrest, Sean, Andy, and the entire crew! 5 stars!
Just bought our truck from a company that made the Mack MD6 into a Septic tank pumping truck. 2022. Had a few issues with the truck and called Forrest at Tristate in Springfield, Mo. He made an appointment for me to bring it out within two days. I waited for the repairs which we all taken care of. Very clean shop. My questions were all addressed with courtesy and respectfully.
