Staff was excellent an informative. Receptionist was the best she really made my experience better. Got an oil change an they checked my transmission fluid levels, also let me kno of a tire issue upon further review.

Terrible service I told them I just needed a quote for a timing chain replacement and instead they gave me a full diagnostic I did NOT ask for. Then didn’t tell me it was gonna cost me $90 they are not up front with you and will try to rip any female off. They did not like that I as a female knew what I was talking about. Very discriminating company 10/10 DO NOT recommend. I would take it to a different place.

Thought I had a camshaft issue but turned out to be a coil and sparkplugs. These guys are so friendly and even helped with a tow to their shop. Prices are very reasonable and I was only without my truck for a single day after and emergency break down.

Had my transmission rebuilt and I'm very glad I went with Ace Transmission. They got it in the shop quickly and back to me in almost 3 weeks. Im very happy with the service I received from Ace. Transmission. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Ace transmission to fix their vehicle.

The technician's initial diagnostic conclusion ended up being incorrect. But they were very good about hearing and respecting my concerns. They did not charge me for the additional diagnostic work I requested (because it ended up showing that the initial conclusion was likely wrong).

We took our jeep here a couple of weeks ago and were told the transmission was shot and it would be around $6k to put a new one in. I called American transmission and took it over there bc their estimate was for around $4k. Turns out it was just a $250 sensor and after they repaired a couple of leaks we got it back about a week later for under $300.00. Please don’t let yourself be conned by this place! American Transmission did us right!

Had transmission issue. Diagnosis was quick and followed up with appointment. Repair was fast and confident the issue was solved. No hi pressure up sale or add ons. Thanks for a great experience. Truck running fine again.

Unless you need transmission work done take your vehicle somewhere else. I took it there because a shop said it needed the transmission fixed. Ace shop said it didn't but wanted to do different things to it to fix it and assured me that just one more thing was needed every time they called after they supposedly fixed something. Charged me $2400 ,to fix my car didn't even make it home, left stranded on the road so my car was worse after they triedvto fix it. Took it back to them to let them get a chance to fix it Charged me another $700 for a intake manifold still broke down again, and now won't run at all, I towed it somewhere else they said it has a electrical issues and the manifold they supposedly replaced had a 3 inch hole in it and it doesn't look new at all that was probably the original intake manifold that was on the car. Now it doesn't run at all and have to wait to have money to get it to a shop that can actually fix it. But unless you need transmission work I won't take it to ace.

Honestly, the customer service was pretty good and Sam, my service adviser was plenty nice. However, they wanted to charge me $1,100 over the max estimate according to KBB for a transmission replacement. I ended up having to take my car to the dealership to beat their price. Something I never thought I'd be saying. They have a lot of cars there and it seems like they do good work from the rest of the reviews. I just recommend you price shop before you approve any major repairs from them. Make sure you are getting the best value for yourself.

They got me in and had my transmission put in within 3 days. I would recommend them to anyone. Price is very reasonable and with a warranty. Sam answered all questions I had and made me feel at ease about the situation I was going through

I had a great experience at this shop! Showed up, got helped, was told it would be an hour but only waited 30 minutes. The guy at the front desk (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) had really good soft skills and I eavesdropped on a difficult conversation that he handled very professionally. Very impressed with all aspects of service. Will be taking my car here from now on.

I bought a 2017 Dodge ram and I noticed it had some transmission fluid leaking. I took it in and they were able to give me the extent of the damage to the truck. They gave me options to fix it and so I didn’t have to take it to different mechanic shops. They did all the work there. I am extremely satisfied with the work that I’ve done and I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend that you bring your Vehichle to Ace transmission because the staff is phenomenal and very professional. Sam, whom I worked with was extraordinarily kind and extremely patient with me. You won’t regret going to this business because they are truly truly amazing..

Bought an “upgraded” transmission from here for my 2017 f250 12/2023. It made it to 11/2025 and just around 50k miles. I limped it to Ace in Springfield to have it checked. Long story short, they replaced it under warranty. They informed me of a rear main seal leak and I approved the repair. When I got the truck back yesterday, I checked the fluids before leaving as I was not impressed with the customer service up to that point. Nothing on the dipstick. I walked back in the office and asked for some oil. They told me they didn’t have any and I could go to oreillys down the street, so I did. It was 4 quarts low.. why repair my oil leak if you’re not going to put oil back in it? Anyway, fast forward to this morning, 250 miles later, I smell trans fluid when I stop and roll my window down. I get under the truck and it’s dripping from the drain plug in the new transmission. I tightened it and just pray that whatever gasket or washer is supposed to be there is there. They don’t extend the warranty on the new transmissions when they replace under warranty, so I would appreciate getting a truck back that was ready to roll. Very concerned that they test drove my truck 1 gallon shy on oil. Who will be responsible for the next catastrophic failure?

I thought I'd give them a try cause of the mailer/coupon i got. It took over an hour for an oil and filter change, and the maintenance light was not reset. The trip odometer was, indicating it was attempted but not completed, and their paper floormat/service number card were left inside for me to throw away. Most likely will not return.

Sam has been consistently professional every time we need repairs on our cars. He keeps us informed during the process and made sure we had transportation back home and to the shop. He is a great manager, as everything runs smoothly when he is on the job. We won’t take our business anywhere else. Thanks Sam!

My experience was extremely great! They were fast. Had my truck back in a couple days, and they even took my ball hitch off so that it wouldn’t get stolen.

Terrible experience!! The transfer case on my 2013 GMC Terrain needed replaced. ACE Transmission gave me a quote for $3,300. They were going to charge me $2500 for a used transfer case. eBay has them for $599. I took elsewhere and was completed for $1400. The $1400 includes install and a used transfer case. What a sham!!! Would not recommend!!!

I had a coupon for an oil change and was looking for a reliable place I could stick with long-term—somewhere that really takes care of my vehicle. Most places charge close to $100, but even without the coupon, their prices were much more reasonable. The staff made me feel genuinely welcome, and I’ve officially found my new go-to spot for oil changes! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10

It was a great experience. They were the only shop who could get my car in and fixed in less than a week. Staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and friendly. Took my truck here to have it diagnosed for a stutter issue and a check engine light. They informed that my truck needed a new transmission. I agreed to replace the transmission. (Over $8k) When they gave me my truck back and said it was complete and ready to go. The check engine light almost immediately came back on when I started driving and it still had a stutter. I took the truck back the very next morning. They claimed that the engine was bad and wanted me to now put a new engine in it ($11k) This is one day after completing that transmission job and supposedly diagnosed my engine issue and saying it was fine). After thinking it over for a couple days I decided I would have them put the engine in the truck also. (Against my better judgment). Ace called a few days later to inform me my truck was complete and ready to go back to work. IT WAS NOT. The truck again almost immediately had a check engine light come back on and it was still stuttering while driving. When I tried to speak with my service adverser about all the issues that I’ve had, all he had to say was “sorry about your bad luck”. I am a business local small business owner with a GREAT reputation and I would not recommend anyone using this company. My experience with them tells me that they are more concerned with taking my money than they are with doing an exceptional job, as well as completely unwilling to try to ease my mind and assure me they would get my truck fixed correctly. 0 out of 5 stars from me.

It was my first time getting an oil change and they were amazing! I was nervous but they were able to help during the process and made me comfortable. They were quick and efficient. The front staff were super nice and helpful!

I had a complete transmission replacement on a 2015 GMC pickup, at about 155,000 miles. As you might guess, it was serious sticker shock. However, I went ahead with the work and I am glad that I did. I needed my truck back quickly and they said they could get me back on the road that same week, which they did. I took it in on a Monday morning and had it back late Friday. I have been driving with the reman transmission for a week or so and everything is great. I also did some comparison research on what my repair "should cost". Ace was right on target with the total price, especially when I consider the 3-year warranty and that I was only out of my vehicle for 5 days. If you are like me and have had transmission work done in the past, be prepared to pay a lot more these days, no matter where you go. I would recommend Ace primarily for the speed and the warranty, but also because they are friendly and professional. I feel like they treated me right all around. Good people, good result.

My air conditioner was giving me problems. I had someone else look at it. They had no idea what the problem was. I took it to Ace. They had it fixed in a couple hours. The cost I was charged was extremely fair. I highly recommend them. I will definitely take any other work I need to them.

Their good at what they do. Estimate on rebuild, I could only afford the reseal of the transfer case on my 72 chevy pu K20. The whole process took two weeks. I paid nearly $2400. Communication was'nt what I expected it should be. I picked- up my truck I had a spark plug wire knocked off a plug, fixed that when I got home. Got vibrations that I did'nt have before. Transfer case does not leak, but I have other issues.

They were very diligent about the work they were doing rebuilding my transmission using all new parts in it and the end result was beyond my expectations! They are to be trusted to do a great job!

Brought my transmission in for a pretty heavy leak. I was weary thinking they would say I needed a new transmission , like we all are when we go to a specialist shop. It was a loose fitting they tracked down and fixed it no charge. I had the gasket and filter replaced while I was there to make sure no leaks for the future whatsoever. Great experience. Nice people! Fair price, about $100 off from the other quote I had for gasket, filter, and fluid replacement. I will trust them ever so easily in the future. Thanks Ace!
