My 2nd time there, will not be back. I'm pretty hip on the math. Some serious theft taking place. Facility should be investigated. Not able to get a response when asking about their formula to calculate. Have recycled in Hawaii for decades this place hands down worst ever.
Went to dispose of two tires and was told they don't take tires! Why would you have tires in your name if you don't take tires?
They're also listed on the C&C website for tire disposal. Have to love local style!!!
These guys noticeibly skim off weight. I bring in only two bags of cans every 1-2 weeks and also started weighing bags myself. They definitely tare/zero the scale before.
Just as the others warn they will skim off the top. I just tested this theory over the course of 2 weeks bringing in different small weights. Always over 3.50. And each time I was always shorted one dollar. I can only imagine how much they skim when people bring in hundreds of pounds of aluminium cans. I will be filling a report with the Honolulu gov, and Honolulu police. This place is a disgrace and one more reason Hawaii HI-5 program doesn't work.

When collecting the money in exchange for your recycled goods, make sure u accurately count your money before leaving the recycle site. Some of the workers that represent this company will try to rip u off if possible when u are not aware of being tricked into thinking u got paid the correct dollar amount.
It may be good to look at other recycle sites & compare. This company should be reported & held to account!
Took some cans to recycle and the total weight was 28, when I look on the paper he gives to sigh, he wrote 17. I asked him what number was that because I saw on the scale the total weigh! The he starts to apologize I sorri I sorry …. ….. be aware people!!!
This place is a really good recycling center. They do get pretty busy and parking can get full really quick. The staff there get out in and out in a reasonable time.
Love this place glad someone told me about this place. Very easy and convinent and fair price for your cans and bottles and staff is really friendly. Only thing is not to much parking
I brought over 150 pounds in glass bottles 100 pounds in cans and 50 pounds in plastic and they only gave me $32.50... what a rip off. Dont go here, they will rio you off and they won't give you what your return is suppose to be. I believe they are pocketing the money
Calling to see if open and can't even do that because I because I get a "Welcome to Verizon" message smh. More companies need to stay on top of things like this. These should be the basics
Call goes to what I assume is a cell phone, nobody ever picks up.
Pay out for dirty copper only. EXCEPT NOT REALLY!?! 5 cents per pound if you bring wire that is in its coating still.
Prices look like they haven't been updated in years.
Process is fast but thats due to them having 12 workers (est.) Half standing around and they can't pay out for dirty copper if they have to strip it? Total rip
Thank you to the two guys who were sitting in the front & helped us with our cans & bottles while they were on their lunch breaks (09/26/20 @ around 12:30p)! We were just gonna wait & come back, but they helped us anyway! Exceptional customer service, quick, & reliable.
Good guys working here. Quick service. I've tried a few recycle places around Honolulu. This is the best one and open 7 days a week. If driving be careful turning left into the driveway. I've found it easier and legal to go to city mill and turn around and come out with no worries about getting hit or a ticket.
