I bought my RAV4 and met with Chris Weaver. He was very helpful and enthusiastic. I had tons of questions and answered them with details. He worked well with me and I was able to get the compact SUV I’ve been looking for. Just drove out the lot today and Chris was still extremely helpful. Will update in a 3 months. Austyn Fields was very professional and timely. I felt respected all the way, nothing said to me that was not 100% true and accurate. I had been in the automobile business for over 20 years working at both franchised and privately owned use car lots so I know all about buying and selling, never revealed this to Austin and he treated me with nothing but respect trying to earn my business with integrity. He is a rare find in the automobile business. Oh yes, I was a sales manager at one of the biggest car dealer franchises here on Oahu so I know a thing or two about the business.

Misleading advertising. First, their profile says “We Buy Cars, Any Condition.” That’s a lie. Took our van in today with transmission issues, still drives, and they said they don’t take our kind of van with transmission issues. So they don’t actually take “any condition” like they say they do. Also, in our emailed quote we received four days ago, it said about $7k for vehicle in “poor condition.” That’s also a lie since they would even take our van. When I asked Jacob what they meant by poor condition, he said it means dents or poor exterior condition and not mechanical. So why does the emailed offer not specify? I would recommend this company be upfront with their advertising so as not to waste people’s time. Honesty is aloha and this place is not honest.

The only reason these guys get two stars instead of one is because Ryan, their finance manager is really good at his job. I don't normally give bad reviews but when you're spending tens of thousands of dollars on a big purchase, you would think that your sales person would actually care. I will not mention him by name because I don't want to be that type of person but I will describe my experience. I had reached out to him about a vehicle they had posted on 12/18/2025. I was away on vacation and told him I was prepared to buy when I got back (10 days). From now until then, everything seemed fine until the morning (12/29/2025) I am about to go in and test drive when he says "The check engine light is on but you can still come in and look at it". First red flag. I go through the entire deal (once again, I've been ready to buy it and asked specifically to make sure the vehicle would be ready to drive off the lot) and he tells me that they don't want to give the vehicle to me since the check engine light was on (they had 10 days to check/service the vehicle but it looks like they didn't). They outsource their mechanic work to several shops nearby. I left that day without a vehicle and had to use a loaner. No word from the sales person for TWO WEEKS! Until I bugged him enough to say that if I didn't get the vehicle in three days I was cancelling the entire deal. Sure enough, he finally picks up his phone and calls me. The day has finally come. I put the paperwork, down payment and trade in on 12/29/2025 and now 01/13/2026, I am driving the car off the lot.... except... after 10 minutes of driving, the check engine light came back on! Sales person tells me that they can't take it in for service for at least another week and he would call me once an openings has come through. It is now 02/12/2026 and I have not heard a peep from him. After working with my mechanic friend, we ended up replacing one of the sensors (which was not replaced and I was told it was). Sooo... that means they held the vehicle for two weeks, reset the code for the check engine light and just gave me the vehicle. I still have NO record of the work that was completed from their head office and I probably will never hear from them again. I honestly would've dropped the entire deal but it was worth waiting the two weeks since it is a SUPER cherry vehicle (aside from having to fix issues that were allegedly fixed).

We just bought a 2024 Kia Sorento, and overall it was a really good experience. Bo was our salesperson, and he was easy to talk to and very patient, especially since my wife was undecided about which car to pick. This was her first car, so it was a big moment for us, and Bo made sure everything felt comfortable and not rushed. He explained things clearly and answered all our questions without any pressure. We’re really happy with the car and grateful for how smooth the whole process was. I’d recommend Bo to anyone looking to buy a car. Yessah

WARNING Sold us a car saying it was inspected regularly- turns out we have to replace the entire transmission. Sales reps gave us a terrible trade in value of $2,500 when we payed almost $9,000 for the vehicle just 2 weeks ago. Edit 2 weeks later: The price to fix the vehicle is JUST AS MUCH as we bought it for (Price below, not including the additional motor oil leak). The car also didn’t pass a safety check, although they said it had been done already.

I would like to thank Bo and Aloha Auto Depot for helping me throughout the process today. I appreciate that Bo was able to show me some options that I might like and make things seem simple to understand. I was nervous at first but got comfortable as the time passed and I was able to decide on which vehicle I was ready to purchase. I stumbled upon this place after the yellow building caught my eye while driving past. After browsing their inventory online, I decided to stop in and had the pleasure of working with Sam! As a woman, car shopping alone can be annoying, but Sam made me feel right at home the moment I walked in. I usually prefer working with women to avoid 'mansplaining,' but Sam was super chill, respectful, and down-to-earth. He actually listened to what I wanted and was patient while showing me options that fit my needs. I didn’t expect to buy so quickly, but I walked away with a new car and great deal in just a day! Highly recommend asking for Sam. He went above and beyond! Also, don’t sleep on Ryan, the finance manager. He is surprisingly smart 🤣 (just kidding) and efficient. He stays busy, so he’s very to-the-point, but he actually made the contract signing process fun and fast. Had the pleasure of being introduced to a couple of other guys who were friendly and not intimidating at all for salesmen. Can’t remember their names but this team is top-notch! They should be called Top Notch Auto Depot but they really go about their business with ALOHA so I guess the name should stay for now. Overall, I’d recommend Aloha Auto Depot to any of my people. Very very pleased with my purchase. Mahalo! (Won’t post a pic of my new car ‘cause I don’t want you guys getting jealous but stop by & see them, you won’t regret it.)

BEWARE Mainland buyers!! I recently purchased a diesel BMW X5 from Aloha Auto Depot as an out-of-state buyer, and it has been the worst car-buying experience of my life. I feel completely cheated and misled. The salesperson, "Uncle Sam," presented a BMW dealership inspection report stating the vehicle had no issues. As this was my first time buying from Hawaii (but not my first out-of-state purchase), I trusted this report. That was a massive mistake. Upon delivery to the mainland, the first red flag was the car's condition—it hadn't even been vacuumed, let alone detailed, showing a complete lack of care. Attached pictures are from the delivery date. The real problems emerged when I started driving. I immediately felt a power issue. I took it to my local BMW dealership, who found critical, undisclosed mechanical failures: a faulty transfer case that needs replacement and a leak in the rear of the valve cover. None of these major issues were mentioned in the "clean" inspection report provided by Aloha Auto Depot. When I tried to address these issues, "Uncle Sam" completely ghosted me. He stopped taking my calls and responding to my messages, leaving me with a broken car and mounting repair bills. WARNING TO MAINLAND BUYERS: If you see a car you like in Hawaii, DO NOT rely on their inspection reports. I was shown a fake document. You MUST fly out to inspect the vehicle personally or hire a truly independent third-party inspector. I learned this the hard way because I couldn't find a specific model on the mainland. I am now seeking legal help to recover the costs of these repairs. Save yourself the immense hassle and financial burden—look elsewhere. This dealership is not trustworthy.

Aloha Auto Depot has great customer service and took great care to find the perfect vehicle for me to take home. Sam did a great job keeping us posted and answering our questions at any of time of day and helping me and family find both a car and a deal we were happy with. I could not ask for a more thorough and comprehensive used car purchasing experience.

Chris the sales person was super smooth with everything, from showing the car, test drive, and negotiation a very good deal. Aloha Auto Depot has really good quality cars and I was able to buy an absolutely clean Suburu WRX. Where do I start? Aloha auto depot came in clutch with helping me purchase a 2021 Honda civic type r. Sam, Eddie and Jacob are amazing workers there and made my dream come true of finally owning a type r. From the initial text to filling out paperwork it was a wonderful experience and I’m glad that they were able to work with myself and my brother in law who co signed for me. I am so humbled and appreciative of all of you thank you very much 💯
