The team was amazing! I went in to get my check engine light fixed! I thought it was because of the modification done to my car but it was because I installed LED under my hood without disconnecting the negative battery Kani was very knowledgeable, patient, kind and trustworthy when it came to helping me. He had a plan and executed very well. I am very pleased with the outcome! Woo Wooo no check engine light on anymore! They did a great job repairing my Jeep after a major accident. The axle, suspension, and body damage were all handled quickly, and they were one of the fastest shops on the island. Really appreciate their help and service.
I drove my assisted-living van into their shop, hoping to get air filled in my tires and these fine gentlemen welcomed me into the auto body repair shop with open arms and treated me with such disrespect. I have a Ford F450 And that Van seats 14 people and has six tires on it and they kindly said no problem. Come on in we’ll take care of you. I suggest everybody go to auto PAPA in Mapunapuna. They will take care of you.
Had a really good experience with Autopapa. The whole process was way smoother than I expected — no pressure, no weird surprises. unfortunately my experience was poor, I took my car to them to see if they can fix my ac, 200 dollars to "diagnose", they called me to tell me my ac was fine, I had to tell them to let it run for one minute before it blew hot air , they told me it needed to be recharged 150 dollars, which did not work, ended up spending 400 dollars to not know what was wrong with the ac and no repairs. it seems to me they dont know ac systems well, which I think should be communicated before I spent a quarter of my paycheck for nothing. 400 dollars to diagnose with no diagnosis.
Avoid this shop. Bait-and-switch pricing and outrageous labor charges.
I was given a written estimate of $539.26, which included 2.0 hours of labor at $165/hr for front and rear brake pads. After I dropped my truck off, they increased the labor to 3.5 hours with no clear explanation and no new parts added, bringing the total to $786.76.
I’ve uploaded both invoices so people can see exactly how the labor hours magically changed after they already had my vehicle. Rust was used as the excuse — which is completely unacceptable in Hawaii, where corrosion is normal and expected.
Any honest shop would either include that in the original estimate or call for approval before adding charges. This place did neither.
Extremely poor transparency, inflated labor, and shady business practices. There are far better and more honest shops on Oahu. Stay away.

Amin n staff were so welcoming and their prices are very reasonable. They definitely know what they doing. He ordered the parts and it arrived no more than half an hour (brakes, bulbs n suspension) couldn’t wait for suspension to be changed so ii returned the next day. I would recommend these guys any day. This business is operating by friends who knows repair and ii trust them. Give them a call check’em out 👍 gotta go back to get my passenger side light replaced just busy at the moment but ii will !!! 🤙
