I am so happy I found this little gem, the whole team is super nice and I didn’t feel like I was getting ripped off, they also new what they were doing and talking about, that’s something that not even the dealership could provide me with. They are reasonable in pricing and are not trying to swindle anyone just a really good shop with hard working people.
I've been to a lot of auto shops, this shop is one of kind. David cares about his guest and will offer the most honest price out there. The work I've had done here is always top quality I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else.
Amazing experience! My oil light kept coming on intermittently although I had just had the oil changed (turns out the oil that we used was way to thin and it burned through the 5qts in a week). David and the team were so kind and explained everything to me and were able to get my oil and filter changed so quick! They are awesome and honest with their pricing. I highly recommend!
I am out of state and contacted Avila Auto Care for a pre-purchase inspection for a used SUV I was considering purchasing in Irvine. David (the owner) did a thorough inspection and identified several mechanical issues that would likely lead to expensive repairs totaling in the thousands. He spent time explaining everything to me afterwards and charged an incredibly reasonable price. He is a trustworthy and helpful mechanic and I would take all of my cars to him if I lived there.
100% would recommend this shop! This metal piece was hanging off the bottom of my vehicle and they removed it PLUS fixed the rest of the plastics that were hanging. It was raining and they were so quick with the assistance. Thank you so much for your amazing help!
I had 3 separate mechanics check my car for what the issue was and some of them had me without my car for over a few months and still couldn't find the part I needed or fix the issue. None were able to fix it and all said different issues. Avila's was able to fix it in a day. They communicated so well, he was so knowledgeable and polite and they were able to find a part I needed there at their shop. I wish I had found this place sooner and didn't spend 4 months without a reliable car. I'm so grateful for this shop.
I feel so lucky that I went here. I work in education and have to commute to a different city every day, so my car is really crucial to me. I was experiencing issues with a fuel rail pressure sensor and the electrical wires connecting it to the rest of the system. They discovered an underlying issue with my alternator while they were checking out my car. I would have gotten stranded. David was great at communicating with me and fixing up my car quickly. I couldn’t tell him “thank you” enough times when checking out. Definitely recommend this place!
My #1 place to take my cars from oil change to engine and suspension repairs. Honest people, David and Francisco are very nice. With the inflation we are living now it is nice to know there are still people that would do the right thing and not rip you off like in othere places. 100% recommended.

I have brought in multiple cars to this place. They are fair on the price and never over charge. This is a rare place most mechanics want to rip you off. David will give you a fair price. I was quoted over 1500 on my Subaru WRX I found this place and they only charged me 400 to fix. They are always busy so be patient if you want a good deal. Great place!

Took my Mercedes s550, they did a fantastic job on my brakes and water pump, they also did not over charge me and try to get additional work like my brake discs and other parts other mechanics try to get me to buy.... Keep up the good work.
I drive down from whittier to come see David. He is probably the most honest mechanic you will find. He keeps things simple and doesn't try to up sell or use scare tactics to get you to do more repairs than you need. Definitely recommend his shop. Hopefully you'll never need to see a mechanic, but if you are unfortunate enough to need some repairs you will have a good experience here.
Dodge Charger Hemi RT, Rebuilt my engine and transmission, did an awesome job, running like new, also fix a bunch of little things, plus they did an awesome job on my air conditioner... This place is amazing and beat 3 other shops quoted prices...
I have been taking my Honda Pilot here for over a decade. They are always honest and won't sell you or suggest something that isn't necessary for your vehicle. I am a semi truck driver and work in the auto industry- there are a lot of crooks out there. Avila Auto Care definitely isn't one of them! Great mechanics.
