I own a chevy 1993 c1500 well taken care truck with only 94k original miles. Im the 2 owner so i asked previous owner if he done any transmission tuneup and he said no. So with 94k on it i assumed it was about time to get it done. Truck drives smooth like a 2016 vehicle so i want the transmission to last . I called this chevrolet dealer for a quote. I specially said i wanted a complete "transmission fluid flush" i was quoted for $230. I drove next day and picked it up later in the afternon and when i check the receipt it said that they only replaced gasket and filter and 6qt of fluid!!!! This truck runs with 12-14qt of transmission fluid. So only 30% or 40% clean fluid was poured in. All the rest of the fluid that is in torque converter and lines and front cooler on the radiator stayed there and now all the dirty and old fluid was mixed with the new and clean fluid. So this is absolutely no good for any transmtransmissin. I felt i was robbed.
