I bought a battery that costs $120 + $10 tax + $20 core. I brought in a dead battery to get credit for the $20 core and paid about $130 total. Unfortunately, the terminal arrangement was incorrect so I came back the next day to exchange the unused new battery for the correct one which happen to cost the same. Instead of the transaction being simple to exchange same-value batteries, they said I owe for ANOTHER core charge. This became an arguement of them treating me like I cannot do simple math. I then just wanted to return the battery and refund the $130 transaction but when I asked for my original dead battery, they wanted me to pay $20 for it! The gentleman who can barely speak English had a condescending attitude on his high-horse "schooling" me on how math works. I did not know such intelligence existed. It appears the level of intelligence to work here at AutoZone must be way above mine.

So I went two days ago to get my battery charged. They didn't even put it to charge. I left it like for 3 hours then i went and picked it up. Wen hime hooked it up and it was completely dead. This has happened to me several times.

The young Spanish girl with glasses. Sold me the wrong transmission fluid for my 2008 Nissan Altima V6 2 days ago and blew my entire transmission. I hold Autozone responsible for this because no other location has ever sold me the wrong product in my life! I have been a faithful customer to Autozone since I got my license almost 15 years ago. I hold this location responsible for my blown transmission because I gave her the correct information for my vehicle and she deliberately sold me the wrong one. I will be in touch with my lawyer for the reimbursement of the thousands of dollars I now have to spend to fix my transmission.

I came in with the purchased receipt, before I could even explain the situation, I was told that I couldn't return my items. I was told by Noel that electrical returns have to be returned to original store. I know this is not true. He said thats its policy set by the store. I bought the battery about 35 miles away. Im a mechanic. I've been doing business with Autozone for over 12 years. I'm extremely disappointed. Drove down the street and returned the item successfully, no questions asked as it should be. Very poor business practices!

Had a return from a different store for some extra oil. I had the receipt. I waited in line. The cashier said she couldn't help me with the return then processed everyone's purchase behind me. She said the other cashier can do this and he was busy with another customer finding parts. After she saw I was still waiting, she grabbed my receipt and started doing my return. Afterward she said she couldn't do it because it was from a different store... Never heard of this. Plus their oil was full. So a complete waste of my time.

We needed to return some chains that were unused and bought at another location. We brought them to this store since we were told that returns are accepted at any location in the US. We talked to the manager and he was unwilling to return them. We even had an employee on call with confirmation from their district manager that returns are always accepted and he was dismissive and unwilling to even talk to the other employee. Talked to another manager at another location just down the street and they said that returns are always accepted and this store was just being difficult. Will not bring more business to this location and would suggest you don't either if you have returns.

Atilio went above and beyond. I have gotten my window wipers at other automotive parts store and they just hand them to me and I have to figure out how to install them myself. Atilio made sure I got the correct ones and helped me install them which required removing clips. I really appreciate his help and I will start purchasing my future parts at this location. Thank you Atilio for your help! This is what you call customer service.

The Autozone on McFadden is the worst experience of all..I went in to return something and had to go back to recheck the amount that was being return then went back to the store and instead of him explaining it to me he said he didn't know n ask how much did you pay for them so I told him you kept my receipt n trashed it and I ask if he could retrieve it and said no you search for it I never felt so humiliated that he brought the bin where they throw the receipts and put it on the floor so I can search for it I could not process what had happened after talking to another employee and he actually explain it too me the right way I still felt over power by men just for being a woman I drove back home crying couldn't understand why that happened.

I came to this location looking for some oil for my car. I was immediately greeted as I entered the store, as I walked down the isles I ran to two other employees which greeted me as well. A gentleman by the name of Joe helped me out checked my oil and recommend me to have an oil change right away since my oil was black. Needless to say I bought what he recommend and an air filter which he installed for free. I will make this my Store from now on.

I've gone into this store a few times and the staff is very respectful. There is no long lines and the staff always acknowledge there customers. On my last visit I was assisted by store manager Joe Sanchez. The time that he took explaining the options for the part that was needed for my vehicle was truly appreciated. Thanks for the great service.

This specific location is ok. It's a little smaller that other AutoZones. I'm starting to notice at all of the AutoZones the selection of Fram oil filters is getting smaller and their only carrying the PH series which is for conventional oil for the price if the synthetic oil filters about $9. Oil prices are through the roof unless you buy STP oil. Heck Home Depot sells oil and filters cheaper than any auto parts store. You really don't get any deals that make it worth buying everything from them anymore. At least the Duralast Gold brake pads still have a life time warranty. Their rewards system isn't all that either. You have to spend a min of $20 to get a credit but if you spend $200 you still only get a credit. Step it up AutoZone

Besides of the employees not having knowledge about cars. This employee intended to rip me off and succeeded. An employee stole my RewardsCards points. Erick Reyes Martinez. He didn't ask me if I had a rewards card either. HE stole MY AutoZoneRewards card's Points By inputting HIS phone # over MINE.

I asked the girl if they sold a fuel pressure test gauge. She didn't know what it was, acted like she never heard of it, and asked me to repeat myself. It was clear she was clueless. She puts me on hold, then comes back and tells me she needs the model # and part #. I told her she had no idea what she's talking about. So I called Pep Boys in Costa Mesa, and Juan checks, and they have two different models, on aisle 14B. That's the difference between someone who knows what they are talking about, and just some dumb body collecting a pay check. Test equipment like this is as common a tire pressure gauge, and you don't need a part # just to check if you sell them. Some people are in the wrong job... Don't waste your time here, just go to Pep Boys. 0 stars.
