My 2008 Hummer started having mechanical issues while I was driving it. I said God please find me a good honest Christian mechanic and no sooner than I said it there it was…Sledge Automotive. Mr. Harold Sledge, owner and his staff found the problem and had it repaired at great reasonable price. I highly recommend this business for your car repairs. Thank you Mr. Harold Sledge!
More like Sludge Automotive. Don't expect to have anything looked at here without some kind of fee. I was charged $20 to clear a code. I wasn't told there would be any cost until after the code was cleared. He then said he wasn't going to charge full price until I acted surprised.
I don't mind paying for work being done, but this was a very simple task that no one changes for. This place is very unprofessional and money hungry.
Takes advantage of older people who trust him. He had my granddads car almost a year without finding the problem or fixing it. My grandad paid him upfront unfortunately (which is totally his fault) but he should not have taken the money because that’s not how it works, and I know he is not going to refund him neither does he care as long as he got paid.
Very helpful and honest people over there. I suggest them to anyone who is having car issues. if they cant do it they put the effort into recommending someone that can.
Something that others said would take several hours to do was done in way less time by these guys. Best mechanics that I know of. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.
