Avoid this place like the plague! This place will cheat you! Wish I could get my metal back. Had to unload myself. Find somewhere else that will not screw you out of your hard earned money.
Do not take your business here! They are liars and cheats. They told me 2.oo on the phone. I also spoke with the other scrap yard on McKinney and they said 2.oo also. I spoke with him 4 times and he assured me that I would be receiving 2.oo. I drove all the way from Pensacola and they wrote me a check for only 1.50 per lb. I went a block away and turned around. They then proceeded to lie to me about what was quoted on the phone and said they were closed when I got here. (I got here 20 minutes before closing) they wouldn't give me my wire back and refused to pay me what they owed me. They claim that they will send me a check. I went through hell to get here and I could've gotten 1.75 in Pensacola. Liars and cheats. Lord help me. I'm really struggling financially and didn't need to make it worse by driving to this place. The man was too cowardly to speak with me himself. God has plans for people like that.
We had 210 lbs of short iron and only made$32 bucks that's the lowest pay we've ever got for short iron in mobile or surrounding areas we drove extra miles out of our way to use them never again
