Closed indefinitely for new building construction

Convenient but sometimes rude attendants. Apparently “closes at 5” means 4:50 so they can clock out at 5. Got here 5 minutes before 5:00 and the gate was closed and the attendant was sitting in her car, refusing to take my items.

The employees here were polite, and helpful.

Easy one bin for all recycling

It seems to be temporarily closed 4-7 times a year since the City took it over.

Staff is so very nice. Am saddened when Pinehill is closed until further notice and I have no choice but to trash my recyclables.

Nice people but closing times need to be updated. They were closed at 5:00 on 4/23/21.

A word to the wise... please flatten all boxes or be prepared to bust them down in the lot... nice people and most helpful... steady busy in the middle of the day saturday... still friendly in this oppressive heat... stay safe Ladies!

Always friendly and helpful!

Extremely convenient and easy recycling process at this recycling center. This is a "single-stream" recycling center, where all recyclables including plastic (with the diamond symbol on it), paper, aluminum, and glass go into one container. So this makes it super easy to just dump all your recyclables in their compactor and not have to sort through your recyclables. I hope the people who actually sort through the crushed recyclables get paid well though, that must not be easy.

The recycle center reduces my garbage to 1 tall kitchen bag per week. Plus, I enjoy knowing that the recyclables are being turned into other useful and sometimes fun products.

The Staff at Pinehill Recycling Center are Outstanding

I just found out about this place after a long search for a recycling center in Mobile. I use to recycle years ago when the government street recycling center was open. Everyone i asked about recycling didnt seem to know where the center existed. When I came to my senses and called Mobile 311. This is great , now I can finally have the peace of mind that my plastics won't end Upton a landfill or down in some fishes troat. Can I get an Amen.
