The pool was closed due to the swim meet and all of the pool lanes are taken due to the swim meet and we cannot do the water aerobics and it's getting frustrating.
Pool is basically OK but they have times when they offer classes that overlap with adult swim when kids are forbidden from half of one pool and the entire other pool. Very poorly planned schedule.
Attended a swim meet there as a member of the Fox Mills Estates crew. I have attended hundreds of swim meets as a swimmer, father and now grandfather. I must say this was one of the best venues and wonderfully managed meets I have viewed. Excellent organization, seating, food and obvious care of the swimmers. Just great!
Such a nice place; a pool for every occasion, a playground, giant picnic area, little sections for basketball, tetherball, foosball, and ping pong, grilling area, 3 pavilions for parties. There’s nothing you can’t do here. GO HURRICANES
Been a member since 1983. Oasis tucked in the woods away from all the NOVA chaos. Lap pool, baby pool, lower pool with two diving boards. Fun NVSL swim team, GO HURRICANES! Playground, picnic areas, grilling areas, basketball court. Sunday steak nights every week. Crab feast, adult parties, movie nights... awesome community. This place is my peace of mind and sanctuary in the summertime. No place in NOVA like it.
The Holmes Run community was described in the 1950s, the pool was developed much later. It's a great community and the pool offers membership and includes three (3) pools: adult only, kiddie, and the largest pool includes two (2) diving boards. What's unique at Holmes Run is the community events, cookouts, steak night, etc..
Great community pool and recreation center. It offers 2 main pools and a children's wading pool. Plenty of space for playing, eating, hosting events, and more. BBQ grills available. Just a minute off I495 and Gallows Rd. Really friendly community.
Our family enjoys Holmes Run Pool almost every day during the summer. It has three immaculate pools, sunshine when you want It (shade when you don't), lots of party areas, grassy yard with picnic tables, two bath houses, basketball court, ping pong and foosball, organized activities for families as well as adult-only events, and a canopy of gorgeous trees. The swim team is loads of fun with many families who socialize all year long. Join us!
