What clients say about Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers in West Falls Church (VA)

I had a great experience at Mr. Tire getting my wife’s Audi Q5 repaired. The whole process was smooth, quick, and very professional. Faizan handled our case and did an excellent job from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, transparent about what needed to be done, and kept me updated throughout the process. The repair was completed in a timely manner, and the car is running perfectly now. It’s always reassuring to work with someone who clearly cares about doing the job right and making sure the customer leaves satisfied. I truly appreciate the great service and would definitely recommend Mr. Tire to others looking for reliable and efficient auto service.

When I called I was told I could wait while the service was done. When I got to the store the person said it will take many hours. Also the computer was not reset, so the computer says a service is due.

Fast and friendly service I went to have a tire patched and it was fixed quickly!

I was very impressed with the willingness of the staff to share information from their own experiences about the problem I had. I was also touched by the trouble they went to to find a tire that matched my others, bring it from another town, and install it immediately so that I could make it on time to an appointment.

Great customer service getting new tires on my car. Rides like a dream no issues.

Had a nail in one of my tires and was able to get it patched quickly. Thanks for taking care of it with such short notice (couple hrs after I called) and providing excellent customer service!

Terrible location and business. Incompetent, as well as rude , disrespectful and almost violent. Management threatened to call the police because they were refusing to put on a tire that was the correct spec tire for my bmw, do not waste your time here. They also conspire to up charge customers

I have a food truck and the tire went flat. Because it’s a larger vehicle, not every shop can service it. I ended up on Mr. Tire’s website. I was connected to someone when I clicked “make an appointment”. The person said that I could make an appointment at Mr. Tire Falls Church and they did that for me, knowing that I had a step van. They also said that they didn’t have the tire in stock but could order it for Monday. Because the front passenger tire is flat, it can’t be driven and needed to be towed. Conveniently, they scheduled the towing service for me as well, which costed me $230 to go a couple of miles. When I get to the shop, as soon as I walked in the door, I was told immediately that my vehicle couldn't be serviced. The tow truck driver hadn't put the vehicle down where he was instructed by the service to do so (across the street in their lot). The guy behind the desk was extremely rude and dismissive. Honestly confused why I ended up here, I explained to him that I came here because your website and your service center sent me here. On the site and with the agent, I told them the make model and details of the truck. I got through each level so of course I would assume that they could service my flat tire. No such luck, this dude blamed it on the "call center on the website" and said it wasn't his problem. I asked what the call center mistake had to do with me and he angrily said "buddy, it's not my problem, you have to get your vehicle out of here!" He was pointing and raising his voice at me and in turn did the same. I was stuck with a $230 bill, and looking at a round trip back to the parking space with no new tire. This guy said if I didn't get out, that he would throw me out. I told that I wish he would try. It was at this point this person called the police as if they are his personal security guards. Yes, I am in a tire shop and the cops are being called because I am trying to figure out a resolution to the mistake that Mr. Tire made. Mistakes happen, but his dismissive attitude was unacceptable and just plain rude. While we were waiting on the fuzz, I called Mr. Tire. They apologized profusely that this happened and connected me with another store. The manager at this store was instantly helpful and said "Unfortunately, we can't service that size vehicle here." he went on to volunteer the following information: "there are only two service centers near here that can take that vehicle." And THEN he, a Mr. Tire center employee, gave me the phone number of the two centers that can take my truck. The tow truck, still standing there, knew where the place was and said he would take it there, for another $50 of course. I should have gotten the guy's name at that place, and I will try to figure out who they connected me with, because he was very helpful in the face of a mistake. Great service, unlike this place. In any event, while I waited on the phone with the new place two officers show up, I had already left the office and I had no intention of staying in this guy's place longer than it took for a resolution. I explained to them my perspective and experience, they seemed annoyed that this rose to the level of them being called, and they left. Taxpayers money NOT well spent because this guy can't handle his business properly. Lesson learned about my truck and these call centers, so I can't rely on a call center without speaking directly with a branch. Mr. Tire corporate should fix this issue to avoid this in the future. I can't tell you how shocking and disgusting it was to have the police called on you when visiting a tire center, trying to fix a flat. I will never visit this branch again and I don't suggest you do either.

I was so lucky that I was in this area when I found the nail in my tire. The people were so nice and went above and beyond to replace my tire since the area the nail punctured couldn’t be patched. 10/10 service!!

Showed up for an appointment made online 1 week prior for 4 new tires. They hadn’t ordered the tires yet. Went elsewhere.

I had an outstanding experience at Mr. Tire in Falls Church, VA after a tire unexpectedly blew out on me. Muhammad was exceptional from the moment I arrived. He didn’t just handle the repair — he genuinely took ownership of the entire situation in a way that’s rare to see in automotive service. He was thorough, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, explaining exactly what happened with my tire, what my options were, and what he recommended based on safety and long-term value. He checked for additional damage, made sure my other tires were properly balanced and inflated, and ensured everything was safe before I drove off. What impressed me the most was that he worked with a level of care that makes you feel like you’re more than just another customer. He got me in almost immediately, kept me updated, and had my car ready much faster than I expected. His professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail turned a stressful situation into a smooth and reassuring experience. It’s clear that Muhammad truly cares about people, not just cars. He treated my situation with urgency and respect, and his customer service was genuinely above and beyond the call of duty. I left feeling confident, well taken care of, and not overcharged — something that’s increasingly hard to find in auto repair. I highly recommend this location, and I especially want to commend Muhammad for delivering the kind of service that sets a new standard.

They tried to sell my brother tires after an alignment job claiming his car sits uneven as one side's tire tread is lower than the other and causing a misalignment. Besides that outrageous statement, his tire tread is fine. These guys are crooks and will try to take advantage of people if they think they don't know any better!! Be cautious if you come

Update (3 weeks later): Increased review from 2 Stars to 3 Stars. Based on the Owner's reply, I reached out as directed and the corporate customer service department was very responsive. They opened an insurance claim to cover the cost of repairing the damage. I am very pleased that they addressed the issue so promptly, but I wish I didn't have to go through all of this hassle. It required numerous calls/texts to file the insurance claim (thru their insurance), getting an estimate (on my time), getting the repair (on my time), etc. They tried to make it right, which I appreciate, but it was a big effort on my part that should have been avoided. Original Post: Staff were very polite and professional, but either their tire changing machine or impact wrench scarred up both wheels that they installed my new tire on (damage was in a clearly symmetrical pattern around the entire center/all lugs of both wheels they worked on).

I had new tires put on and an alignment done in March of this year. Unfortunately, my alignment started to go out in October from wear and tear. I set up an appt to have the alignment checked. Upon my arrival I came to learn that the appt was never put into the schedule. The machine was already being used and I was told that it would be a few hours before my car could be checked. I went ahead and set up an appt for the next day and had to come back. Everything was completed to my expectation but I couldn’t agree with the cost. It was originally going to cost upwards of $150. I asked if any kind of discount could be applied and I received a $15 discount. I didn’t think this was a fair discount for the following reasons: 1. My original appt was not honored and I had to make a 2nd trip. 2. I had missed the warranty on my original alignment by 1 month. 3. The alignment overall was not terrible, and only the front wheels needed an adjustment.

OK installation of new tires and alignment, but someone left greasy smudges on front doors and door handles. Also, the front desk person was busy chatting with someone else behind the counter when my completed ticket was placed on the counter. I waited about 5 min for him to finish, but, when he continued talking, I finally had to call his attention to it.

Went here to get my tires changed, oil changed, and alignment. They were incredibly timely and very fairly priced. Yousuf was very kind and fair. Definitely coming back here again

This was my first time at Mr. Tire Falls Church and they were absolutely amazing and saved my day. I was driving when I noticed my tire sensor and came in without an appointment. They were kind and squeezed me in even with only two people working. Great place and excellent service. Thank you!!!

I made a 5:30pm appointment for today to have a wheel alignment done. Got here at 5:24pm and was immediately told “the alignment guy already left for the day.” Extremely disappointing. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Avoid this place! I made an appointment at Mr. Tire in Falls Church, but when I showed up the service person refused to work on my car, saying their new equipment “might scratch the rims.” I explained that the same car had been serviced here before (June 2024) with no issues, but he still refused. He admitted their equipment has been damaging rims, yet they’re still booking appointments without warning customers. To make matters worse, they sent me to another location that gave me the exact same excuse—even though Falls Church had promised they could handle it. Complete waste of time. If you value honesty, reliability, and your schedule, go somewhere else.

If you don’t take people to fix tires within one hour of closing—since according to Google you close at 7pm—say that you close at 6pm. Your hours of operation are misleading. Considering you’re basking on the fact that you respond to emergency tire repairs and you’re called literally “Mr. Tire”. The least you can do is be honest about how you conduct business. Keep it real my friends.

I came with a flat tire, and they immediately told me to replace the whole tire, but at another service they easily just patched it :)

Had an excellent experience at Mr. Tire thanks to Yousuf and his skilled technicians. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my tire and took care of it efficiently, keeping me informed throughout the process. Professional, friendly and trustworthy service. I will definitely be coming back.

(Update, August 2025) Brought my car in thinking that I needed new brake pads. The master tech gave it a look and let me know he didn't think there was any issues and returned my car without any charge. It would have been too easy for them to slap on new brake pads and charge me full service. Really appreciate this shop for having integrity. Will keep coming here for my auto needs! //// (Original Review, Summer 2024) Fair state inspections without pitching unnecessary maintenance. Oil changes are a tad pricey, but also had brake pads done at 1/3 of price of another place. Just a note: does not honor appointments for state inspections, despite the function existing on the corporate website. If you are trying to do an inspection on Saturday, recommend dropping off end of day Friday.

We have had several fair experiences at this location, but our most recent resulted in damage to the car. In April, I took my car to the Falls Church Mr. Tire for a routine oil change and pre-inspection check in, and left without any further needs. When I took my car into a different shop today - it was getting unexpected maintenance and the mechanic offered an updated oil change - we found the bolt stripped and "welded" to the oil panel, images below. The mechanic had to cut the bolt out of the metal panel, rendering the car unusable without significant oil leaks and costing $1000 in repairs. While I would like to afford Mr. Tire the benefit of the doubt, this is the last place the oil was worked on. If they did not tightly attach the bolt, then they charged me for a service (the April oil change) that they did not complete.

Completely missed two problems with our car and didn’t tell us when they found out. Conveniently, waited till after we paid that they noticed the check engine light came on while working on the car. They had the opportunity to tell us twice on the phone and never mentioned it. Do NOT go here unless you know exactly what you need done because they will not be able to figure it out.

My partner and I have been taking our cars to this shop for many years. But I had the best experience of all this morning. My car battery was dead and we wanted to jump it, but couldn't find our jumper cables. I called them to see if we could borrow some. The shop doesn't have any to borrow, and the tech who has a portable jump kit was off today, but the guy at the desk went out to his car and grabbed his own for me to borrow. Such great customer service!

If I could leave a 0 Star reviewI would, being that the service at this place was horrendous. I waited 2 hours for a tire, which was over priced in addition they want to charge 40 dollars for installation mount and balance. I asked for a discount for the wait he refused and told me I could call a 1-800 number. This is the most horrible experience trying to purchase 1 tire ever. The Manager’s attitude was horrible, and he does not understand customer service.

Not recommended. Service level and attention to detail are lacking. Pricing is also not competitive. I went to this place because I needed tires fast in order to pass inspection. I paid a premium for the quick service, and ended up with tires I didn’t like. I have to give them credit for getting it done quickly and even staying a little late to get me the car back, but when I woke up and found one tire completely flat the next day due to their error with the valve stem, they were not concerned. It was on me to somehow get the car back to them for the repair. As for the overall quality of the tires, they are not concerned with the customer’s satisfaction. They offered to refund my original tires when I quickly realized how much road noise they had and immediately voiced my concern, but they were going to charge the expensive installation and other fees all over again, making it impossible for me to afford. Look for a place with better service, or at least better prices! I will certainly never return to this place and I really wish I hadn’t gone.

I called to Find out how long the wait would be and was told to come in immediately. As soon as I arrived my car was brought to the bays and the oil change was completed in under an hour. Express service, great customer attentiveness and knowledgeable employees- this has likely been the easiest oil change I’ve ever experienced.

Update as of 8/14/19: I was contacted by Mr. Tire Customer Service to discuss the recent repair work. The number I was provided does not go to the person who contacted me, and lists the business as a muffler company, not Mr. Tire. I have left a request for a return call, but I do not foresee a positive outcome. I stand by my previous review. Damaged goods installed on my vehicle at an exorbitant price. I do not recommend this business. --- Took my car to this location for a state inspection. They found holes in one muffler and failed the vehicle. Not the first time a Mr. Tire has “found” issues with my vehicle. I didn’t check before the inspection so I trusted there really were holes and had them replace one muffler so it would pass. Learned my lesson the $$$ way. They charged 200% more than a common retailers for the part. Would have been worth the convenience but the muffler is dented and does not line up with the exhaust pipe. I do not recommend this business or this chain of mechanics. Only good thing is they did pass the vehicle so I can renew the plates.
