These guys are the real deal. What an awesome local shop that knows so much about these wild/crazy lil British cars. Their work is top of the line, great troubleshooting, they have that "can do" attitude and they deliver a great product when your car leaves their shop. Nick, Pete and the crew at this wonderful garage are the real deal and will help you keep your vehicle in tip top shape both inside and out. I wouldn't use anyone else. They are honest, get the work done quickly, keep you updated from start to finish and their prices are fair with the very high quality work. I appreciate that they show me the issues they find first hand before correcting the issue. Honest, trustworthy, convenient and great work standards = London Auto Services. A+++++++

Yet again, an excellent experience taking my MG to London Auto. Friendly atmosphere, and first rate work; I'm always confident that "Brigitte" will be very well cared for at London Auto!

These guys have a rare commodity in abundance – honesty. I lived in Arlington for 50 years and they always took care of me and my cars. I am a single woman, with very little knowledge concerning cars and I relied on them completely. You can trust them. I moved to Rhode Island about a year ago and, boy, do I miss London Auto.

Having a good relationship with a team that has great mechanical skills and intuition is really important when you run any older car - especially an English one! . London Auto has kept my '65 Morgan and '56 Jaguar running well and driving safely. I recommend them!

Outstanding experts on classic European cars. They did an excellent job tuning and troubleshooting my old Volvo. They don't try to sell services you don't need and are great at keeping you updated on the work.

Excellent knowledgeable mechanics. They knew my car and were more than happy to discuss all sorts of issues, upgrades, etc. possible whether I planned to do the work or have them do it.

I chose London Auto to install an overdrive transmission in my newly acquired 54-year-old Triumph TR 6 based on this shop's reputation and a very positive initial consultation visit. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results of the work performed by Dave, an experienced Triumph master mechanic who pays attention to detail and knows British cars and owns them himself. While the car was in the shop, I also requested an in-depth evaluation of the car to identify issues that needed attention and would improve the safety and performance of the car as well as those that could be performed at a future date. The analysis was thorough and complete and fully explained to me in detail, so I requested that the suggested work be performed. The car I drove away from the shop was the same color as the one I dropped off but was a totally different car as to performance and handling and a true joy to drive. A total thumbs up to Nick, Dave and London Auto Services. I trust these folks and appreciate what they do to include hosting technical sessions for our local Triumph and MG clubs. Above and beyond in service to their customers.

Nick, Dave et al have always taken care of my cars in Virginia. Highly recommended.

I continue to get excellent and timely service. I highly recommended London Auto for servicing your car. They are very thorough. They fixed all of my immediate issues and gave me a heads-up and timeframe for possible future service needs.

Nick and the team at London Auto Service are great. they have deep experience in a lot of makes, and know everything Alfa Romeo for sure!!

London Auto Service is the "Go to" specialist if you have a British, Italian, or any classic sports car. The staff has decades of knowledge and will get your car back on the road. They will diagnose and solve whatever is problem has developed. I learn something new every time I chat with Dave, Jonathan, Mike, or Nick when I drop-off or pick-up my Spitfire. Quality work is their trademark. These guys are the best.

These folks are awesome. Such a great environment and technicians are knowledgeable. The tech installed aftermarket headlights on my 87 bmw e30. I’m beyond satisfied with the job and will be coming back for future work.

These guys know their stuff when it comes to classic and late model Alfa Romeos. I assume this is also true of British makes, too. They are fair and reasonable. Highly recommended.

London Auto has serviced my 74 MGB for many years. This visit was for the spring shake out to get ready for the driving season. Dave gave it a thorough check and luckily it was in good shape. After an oil change, lube, and a light tune-up, I can look forward to the events our MG Club has lined up with confidence.

I have an 1986 Alfa Quad purchased new from Rosanova Alfa (Bladensburg, MD). When that company folded I used a few local shops to perform repairs that I couldn't do myself. Upon recommendation from another Alfa owner I tried London Auto about 15 years ago and have not switched repair shops again. Their expertise and level of service is simply outstanding and unmatched in any of the other repair shops that I've used. I've never been disappointed with the quality of the repairs or the charges for their services.

I've been a client of London Auto for a number of years, entrusting them with total care of my 1967 Jaguar X-KE. London Auto is in the "best in business" class. Their work is outstanding in all regards--thorough, professional, technically competent and conscientious. The entire team is superb. My only regret is that I did not find them earlier! This car is 56 years old; finding reliable and capable technicians who have the expertise needed to make repairs on such vehicles can be a challenge. If you have a "classic" or any car that is important to you, I strongly recommend that you take it to London Auto. You will NOT be disappointed.

(1947 MG TC) - dependable, reliable, insightful, good communicators, no nonsense, fair charges, said it the way it is, no pushy service needs approach, straight forward. A pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

London performed routine service on my Jaguar F Type quickly and for a very good price. They were friendly and knowledgable and it’s a fun place to visit just to check out the cool cars on site. They also investigated my check engine light twice and reset it. Great place and staff!

Owner and employees are very courteous, and friendly. transparency was very noticed, and customer is shown the problems and later verified the fixes. I felt very comfortable with London Auto even thought it was my first visit. I trust this shop and it will be the family maintenance facility for all the work that might be needed in the future.

London Auto has my complete trust. I used them for many years, recommended by fellow Jaguar owners in my car club, Nation's Capital Jaguar Owners Club (NCJOC). I appreciate the ride to the Mosaic District and prompt phone call when my car is ready. We're very lucky to have Nick, the owner, and his shop in Northern Virginia.

London Auto has always been very good to me. Recently, I experienced a one-car accident resulting in body damage to my car. I stopped by London auto and, as always, they were friendly and they guided me to a solution. I don’t know or like cars very much, but that’s no problem as the guys at London auto take care of that for me. I bring my car there for all services. They are the best!

I have a 71 Midget that had a number of problems, all of which I thought would be hard or at least very expensive to solve - leaking fuel tank, mushy brakes, horn didn't work, etc. And I wanted the wheels and tires replaced. Was easy to schedule an appointment and I was amazed at their quick diagnosis and correction for every problem and they did a stunning job on the new wheels and tires (gave me great advice on what to get as replacements for the junk that was on the car). And the cost was very reasonable. I am VERY pleased with the car now. Drove it for over an hour last evening (used a whole gallon and half of gas!) and everything works great w/ NO leaking gas tank. Really friendly and engaging folks who obviously know their stuff. Plan to use them regularly in the future. You can tell by the number of various antique (are fairly rare) cars parked there that they are in high demand.

I wish I could give 5 stars, but their super high prices prevent that. However, I keep coming back because they know what they are doing! So it's worth the expense. Pete at the front desk is super nice. Every repair they've ever done to myb1977 MGB has been perfect and without issue. Further you can trust them!

Nick and his crew did a fabulous job on restoring my 91 Alfa Spyder. Took second place in AAC Show. They are now doing a major job on my barn find 62 Jullieta Sprint

It was such a pleasure working with the crew at London Auto Service. Nick kept me posted and came up with solutions that were practical and fairly priced. My Lancia was leaking gas from the tank and Nick tracked down a replacement at a very reasonable price. I really felt he was looking out for me rather than trying to turn a profit. If you are a fan of classic Italian and British cars, the shop is worth a visit just for fun. The lot is full of wonderful period pieces in various states of repair. Claudio worked on my car. Like me, he has relatives from Italy – specifically Calabria. His passion for the cars is obvious. Much like an Italian chef, he puts his heart and emotion into his work, and he really cares. It’s very hard to find a shop that is knowledgeable, a joy to work with and very reasonably priced. These guys deliver all three in spades. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

London Auto has a fantastic reputation and many great ratings, so I wanted to bring my problematic XK8 to their shop, primarily for some shifter repairs and multiple engine trouble codes. First, the good news, at the end of it all, they did a good job of addressing my primary problem, made a very good repair and diagnosis to the shifter, and diagnosed and fixed most of the trouble codes with a new battery, so I was happy about that. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed by my overall experience. The shop had the car for over 5 weeks. Not once during the entire time did I receive any communication from the shop, unless I initiated it via email or a phone call. Each week, I had to call the shop to ask for some updates; progress was extremely slow. This, after I provided a well-written printed-out document with my contact info and a detailed explanation of my issues with the car and a list of tasks I'd like to have tackled. My list was promptly ignored and my cell phone number was incorrectly written down in their files. Of course, they had my correct work number, which they did not employ after many times of them telling me "we've been trying to get a hold of you," after they call that exact work number after I send them emails about how come they don't ever contact me, and the number works just fine. Although they eventually tackled the primary issues with the car, it was after me calling them each week trying to get some type of progress report and trying to get them to actually work on the car. Later in the process, they were highly distracted by trying to fix a more minor issue, while ignoring one of the primary shifter issues, which was the main reason the car was in the shop. The other, more minor tasks I had written on the form were ignored and never even brought up by the shop. I didn't bring them up later, because I knew it would take another 5 weeks at the rate they were going. When I picked the car up, I found that the third brake light cover was unattached from the base, the driver's side door panel was loose and had a few broken clips, and the emergency triangle kit that is trunk-lid mounted had come off of the trunk lid, because they slammed the trunk lid too hard. In addition, a broken piece of this kit (it was already broken) found its way into the wheel stowage well, which could only mean they had this well open and saw this come off, but made no attempt to collect the broken piece, nor try to re-install the kit on the trunk lid. The rest of the kit was on the trunk floor, on top of the closed stowage panel. In addition, I had removed the console for easy access to the shifter for the shop to work on. Although I did not specifically mention to put the console back together, since I just assumed they would re-install it, it was just left off. You would think they would put this back together or ask, "would you like your console put back on?" before I took delivery. Most disappointingly, the day after I originally wrote this, I noticed a few very large stone chips in the front of the car that were not there when I dropped it off over a month earlier. It looks like they must have test driven the car on a gravel road. I changed my rating to 1-star because of this. This is significant damage to the paint. I understand things can happen, break, go loose, but there is no excuse for the condition I found my car upon pick-up, regardless. You would think they would at least mention the broken door panel, brake light housing, console, and triangle kit, but they just ignored all of these items and delivered the car to me with these things in various states of disrepair, which shows to me a lack of attention to detail and a complete indifference about general care of my care while it was in their possession, minus the repairs that were made. Where did they drive this car that they picked up these large stone chips and caused significant damage to the paint? I am completely disappointed by my experience; I would not recommend this shop if this is how they treat their customers' cars.

London Auto did a great job with my classic car. They diagnosed an idle issue my car had that several shops before them had not been able to figure out, and after they replaced the bad part my car idles smoothly again. Every few days I got a call just to let me know how things were going, which I thought was terrific customer service. I will definitely be back.

The Technicians at London Auto are not only knowledgeable, professional and very good, they take the time to talk with you and explain the process. I had my clutch replaced on my 1971 TR6, not only was the clutch replaced but the flywheel was removed and inspected and the rear engine seals replaced. If you want your motor worked on properly, then this is the shop to go to. They stand behind their work. Recently London Auto rebuilt my Triumph TR6 carburetors, the rebuild was perfect. My classic runs great.

For many years, the mechanics at London Auto have been taking excellent care of my 1974.5 MGB GT - not only do they provide reliable mechanical service, also they are a pleasure to deal with. Always friendly faces, and prompt turnaround on any work/repair - when they promise the car will be ready for pick-up, it is! I highly recommend London Auto Services Ltd.
