Very good selection, exceedingly kind employees... Chris was very helpful in assisting me to get a table into my car

I drive by here several times a week. Stopped in once or twice before to do a bit of rummaging. On a sunny day driving to pick up takeout lunch, I landed specifically in search of a floor lamp to put in one of our furnished rentals. None at the moment, unfortunately. And yet… #MysteryPurchases ? A baseball cap with “La Veuve Cliquot” on the embroidery? [If you have to ask, then bother me none. Oo la la! ??] A Dave Ramsey financial well-being book? [Several known to me should read this. Timely in ?? America.] An official Boston Celtics tshirt for a dollar?! ? [For my coolest son, “The Mexican Shooter”] Yup!! For $5, I walked out with some really cool gifts for my peeps! Great smiles at the cashier’s counter. Floating assistance ready & willing to help you with finding anything on your shopping list. {And perhaps something new & interesting not on your list?} Clock Tower Thrift Shop supports a non-secular local charity offering services to needy individuals & families. — And… I feel like a pirate when such low-cost high-value treasures come my way! I look forward to visiting again soon and discovering more treasures on a great, sunny day! (Amen!) {Cash/CC — plenty of parking, though spaces not well-delineated. ?}

Was at the clock tower thrift shop today. I enjoyed looking at their unique inventory. Sarah, an employee there, was most kind and helpful. She even did a google search for me to help identify the origin of a collectible object that I purchased. She made the shopping experience pleasant for me. Hope to return there in the near future!

Clock Tower Thrift is my favorite thrift shop in NoVa!! I always find some treasure pieces here with the right price compare to Unique in Mosaic. The staff are SUPER nice! Today I found this beautiful, great condition $25 2010s Sony 43” TV for my living. The staff were very helpful, they even loaded it into my car.

Great little thrift shop! Not a ton of clothing but a great section of dishes, trinkets, frames, and even furniture. When I went there was a great Christmas section. I got some really nice curtains that I will use for a bench cushion. It’s also easy to donate around the side of the building. I’m not sure what they kept (I checked the website first) but some of the items I donated were on shelves before I was even done shopping. There is a fitting room but I did not have the need to use it.

HUGE variety, clean, & organized. Profits help local families in need. Furniture, art, glassware, clothing, jewelry. Changing rooms. Prices higher than goodwill but reasonable. And they have a discounted color every week 50-75% off! Good lighting, wheelchair accessible BUT one step to enter. Plenty of free parking.

Really great finds at reasonable prices, so well organized and presented. It’s a pleasure to shop here with friendly volunteers too — all funding a great community organs!

Went to this thrift shop at 9:52 this morning, some younger guy opened the door, said we are not open, and as I was talking to him about what time and should I wait, he rudely slammed the door and locked it. I use to be a regular customer there and have bought many large items. I will not be going back to this place.

I couldn’t find any clothes for myself but there were definitely some really interesting pieces! The majority of the clothes weren’t for me though, and I’d say their pants section is lackluster. However! There’s not a huge selection, but there is a nice variety. I LOVE their collection of prints, paintings, and vintage postcards. They also had really fancy dishes if you’re looking for plates, cups, and bowls. The staff are also really nice. Would definitely go again if it wasn’t so far.

What a gem! There was a good selection of items and it was the cleanest thrift store I have been in for a while! The staff were all very friendly. The merchandise is very fairly priced, much better than goodwill prices. They have good quality items ranging from kids toys, antiques, vintage, clothing, household goods and decor.

This thrift shop supports local women's and family services. It has small but easy to explore store with a wide variety of interesting items. Every day items with a particular color price tag are discounted 50%. Take you time and look around. You'll be glad you did!

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but inside I found some great deals. Things seemed mostly well organized and clean. Alliston at the front register was super sweet. I got a 25% off coupon for donating some things! They had a staff member help me load the car with my great finds. The only thing that was a little cringy was that I heard a person who was likely the manager being a little harsh with a non-native-English speaking staff member for putting something in the wrong place. I'll definitely pop by next time I'm in the area.

Really good people working good stuff cheap prices lol it’s like a hidden gem every other thrift stores I go to has some bad stuff but this one is perfect and a bunch of great stuff for kids warning if you bring kids you will have a lot more toys and plushys

Very greedy high prices. Everything is super expensive. Old video games for more than they cost new. They look things up online to set prices. They think average things are worth a lot so they slap a massive price tag on it. You are a thrift store, not some fancy boutique! No longer donating here.

Went to Clock Tower thrift shop last week and found that they had drastically increased prices. Old vinyl records, for example, that sold for $1 each two weeks ago were marked up to $20 each and more. They priced an old, scratched up Beatles record that was missing its cover at $125.00. Several people around me were complaining about the over-pricing of other items. When you complain to the staff about the rip-off pricing, they say, “well it’s for a good cause”. Nothing overpriced can be considered good for any cause. I can no longer consider this to be a “thrift” store. ***I saw that Clock Tower Thrift Shop is now under new management (Spring 2022). Prices now seem more reasonable. I will follow their progress.

This used to be a great place to shop for unique vintage items, but since it was sold to new owners a few years ago, the prices have become crazy high! Also, they don't offer any discounts on certain colors like they used to. Today someone told me 30 days or older was discounted, then another employee told me no. Really? Won't be back.

The staff couldn’t be kinder. I love Nita and Marie. They work so hard and keep everything buzzing! The store is awesome, too! I always find wonderful vintage items. I like the old stuff and love searching. You never know what you will find here!

Very cramped. I came to look at the jewelry display but the jewelry was piled on top of each other with a lot facing downwards. I didn't feel it was worth it to ask an employee to look at any of the jewelry since I could barely spot anything in the mess anyway. The employees bother the customers too much. Just let us shop in peace.

Overpriced! What actually made me write this review is as follows. As I had merchendise in my hand and was still browsing for more items. I noticed that an employee made it a point to rush and stand by the front exit and stand post like security. It was so obvious that he profiled me and suspected I would walk out with the items. I'm not one to jump to conclusions but his actions were very obvious. I also got a very abrasive demeanor/interaction from an older Hispanic woman with glasses when I asked a question, her interaction with a Caucasian customer was quite the opposite. She proceeded to throw an empty box right in front of my path with no apology. I believe there is a culture of profiling certain customers between some employees at this store.

Found some great items for very cheap! A bit hard to navigate, kind of cramped. But if you stay long enough and look at everything, you're bound to find something neat for a good price! I will absolutely be returning here in the future.

Not for the claustrophobic or meek of heart. While you can find some hidden gems in this store, "hidden" is often more literal than figurative. Clock Tower hasn't quite figured out their store's orientation and is frequently moving sections around, sometimes making it hard to walk or to push over a hanger on the rack, so you can't even see what is available. I don't know how the fire marshall hasn't investigated this place, because there is way too much stuff in a small space which is completely unorganized. Tip: Avoid bringing small children here at all cost, especially if you regularly use a stroller. A stroller will not fit in the aisles, not even an umbrella stroller.

The staff is very nice and amazing. This thrift shop is for northern virginia family services, so the money goes to a good cause. Amidst the clutter, there are REALLY good finds. I find that their pricing can be off as some items are marked above thier value. What i have noticed is that the really good finds are under priced. I feel like they have too much stuff, it can hinder the shopping experience. I think they could benefit from a huge sale, like for 2 months all clothes, hats and scarves are $1. Overall i will continue shopping here. Connie and mariam are amazing.

Been a loyal customer for a long time but seems like something has happened there. Was buying a clothing item. No price tag on it. Manager tells me it was $6 when I asked. I had a coupon that gives you 25% off from a donation I made recently (you get 1 coupon that you can use on one regular price item when you donate something). I figured $4.50 was fair. When I gave the clerk the coupon I was told that my price was already a discount price and the item was originally $10. Yet it never had a tag... ever. I had been looking at the item for weeks...never ever priced. I declined the purchase. First $10 was way too high and rarely is one of their sweaters that much.Second, it had been an item there for a long time. Third, it seems like most of their clothes have no tags anymore. This is underhanded and not being square with your customers. On another note, employees have said they are all being let go by end of November and that the shop is going to be something else.... I wonder if that issue is changing the behavior...people may just be mad.

This is an extraordinary thrift shop. Definitely an odds and ends sort of place. Not super organized, but absolutely packed with awesome stuff. A steady resource for kids games. They have good furniture options, which they dutifully bring outside every opening and take inside at closing. You can check the new furniture from the road, which is cool.

I've driven by Clock Tower several times and never really 'caught on' that it was a thrift .. most probably because not two blocks down is Goodwill. It's a bit off putting at first because the building is SO small a good amount of 'stuff' sits outside. At the end of the day it's covered in tarps. I saw all this as an observation not to degrade .. there are bargains to be had here! You just have to stop in .. and .. dig in .. the service is good .. the people are friendly and helpful. It's just important to realize they are a big organization .. not Goodwin .. not the Salvation. Army .. or the Unique store .. but more adventure shopping and very VERY fair/good prices .. Check the place out ..

Clock tower can do better managing prices. They over priced their items, I see items that can be sold for a very small price, instead they are trashed or seat on their shelves for months. The ladies in the counter are very aggressive with clients. They need to remember that it is a community store. People who buy at Clock Tower are people who are helping others. Clients need to be treated better. A little training in client service for Clock Towers employees will help.

This is hands down my favorite thrift store! I live right down the street so I find myself going there at least 5 times per week I've been very lucky finding what I need for my house furnishing and clothing. Very nice people to deal with and reasonable prices. Highly recommended. My M.
