Terrible experience. Will not be using them again.
I had a tear in my tire’s sidewall, so I changed it over to the donut and scheduled an appointment to get a new tire. I explained to the technician on the phone while scheduling and again while dropping off, what the issue was and that the tire was in the trunk. I was told by phone that the appointment would be an hour or so. When I brought it in, that turned into 2 hrs. When I got there a half an hour prior to my “completed time”, my car was not even in the shop yet. Fast forward, the car finally gets in the shop at the 2 hr mark. Takes another 30 minutes to get a quote, and another 45min till it was complete.
They also told me they would put my donut back where it belongs under the vehicle a they did not.
Eric was warm and welcoming, let me know the estimated price up front (which was accurate) and fit me in on short notice. They let me know what repairs they might recommend based on mileage and provided me with a printout of that information, offered the service but did not push it at all. I really appreciate their service and will come back here for future needs!
I had four tires replaced and the next day one of the tires was almost flat. When I called asking if I could bring the car back to get the tires looked at, the person I spoke to didn't seem at all concerned and was not at all accommodating. I also asked them to test my alternator, suspecting that the alternator was bad. They said that I only needed a new battery, but I replaced the battery and then the battery was completely drained and almost ruined because the alternator was indeed bad. When I told them this, they again didn't apologize or seem at all concerned. Customer service and actually mechanical service was both very bad.
I came in later on a Friday evening with a flat tire. Tracy at the front desk was so nice and able to help me so quickly. They were awesome and I appreciate their prompt, professional help.
I had a pleasant experience at Firestone. They did an overall inspection of my car before I took it on a long trip, and all of their advice was accurate and warranted. They were honest and respectful of my choices moving forward on what work needed to be done.
Set an appointment for 4pm. Left to get food came back 50 minuets later and my car hadn’t even been looked at yet. I asked how much longer and they told me an hour at least, that’s not to mention how long it would’ve taken to do the work. What is the point of making an appointment? No wonder why Firestone is struggling as a company. Literally recommend anywhere else.
This is the best service I've ever had on a vehicle. They are informative and helpful. The price is right. And they are never condescending because I'm a woman and don't know about cars. Alwayssss recommend this location
Won't install brand new parts in the box because you didn't buy them through them. You just want to pay them to do the labor.
I don't need a five hundred percent markup on my parts.I just need them replaced
Wow, Mr. Firestone would be appalled with what just happened to my son. Told him that they couldn't finish some because of an issue to bring it back. He did. I'm sitting here shocked. They wanted another $200 plus to complete the job. Firestone is now no longer trustworthy or honest. And Honesty and integrity is what that man stood for. DO MUCH BETTER!!!
I came in last month needing a State Vehicle Inspection ASAP as I was travelling abroad soon and my 90day Temporary Tag was about to expire! The lovely and accommodating Manager Miss Tracey squeezed me in and gave me an appointment almost immediately!! (I had called x6 other places).
Dylan walked me through the entire process and had me in and out in no time whatsoever!! (Thanks bro).
George was the Tech that ran the Inspection and got everything checked out most ricky tick!!

They explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and made sure my car was in great shape before I left. I’ll definitely be coming back for future services. Highly recommend!

Love the crew at Fireside on North Main St. They’re helpful (without being pushy), and we’ve used them for state inspections and flat tires. They’re fast with their service and have same-day supported our auto needs. Can’t recommend them enough!
I have been coming to Firestone for almost 20 years. The staff if great, and I’ve NEVER felt like I’ve been ripped off. I tell everyone I know to go there.
We visited this location in need for a simple tire rotation and I'm baffled at how poor the customer service was. The lady that helped us was the lady with the swollen face and lack of teeth. I would not recommend this location. We ended up finding a local tire shop only 8 minutes away. Was quoted a generous price and the wait time was less than 5 minutes despite there being more customers. Workers were quick and efficient and got it done within 10-15 minutes.
I think the staff in this location needs proper training on how to address customers and keep a sale rather than lose it within the first few seconds of interaction. Do better. It's not that hard.
Called yesterday AM and asked about scheduling an appt for a slow tire leak, and they said no problem, come in Friday morning. I asked, “do I need an appt? Should I leave you my info?” They said, “no, no, no, come on in.”
We came in. And were told absolutely not, too busy. I hope you have the day you deserve, Firestone.
I was lied to by the first Firestone rep; and attempted to be gaslighted by the second Firestone rep, and condescended to during both interactions. The second fellow was so misogynistic that he apologized for helping me to the man in line behind me. Ive been a loyal customer fo nearly 40 years. Do better.
I ran over a screw 🪛 and punctured a tire. We brought the vehicle in to Firestone and got GREAT service from Dylan - our service advisor. He was courteous and very helpful. Also, the tech, Luis, was prompt and professional. Terrific experience. We would use them again and recommend them.
Absolutely horrible service, had my car towed for a flat, to only wait for a patch to be done, I was told it would take up to two hours for a five min job then proceeded to never get a call back. After calling them was told it couldn’t be completed today mind you I live in CT and needed to get back to CT. Tracy is who I dealt with. This Firestone is the most unprofessional place I’ve ever with unprofessional customer service. I will never return and will spread the word.
TLDR: don’t go here with custom wheels and or tire sizes….
Referred by tire rack. Refused to replace front tires because of custom sizing, manager said it was a liability issue. That’s all well and good but that was after they performed an inspection I didn’t ask for, test drove the vehicle etc. good enough customer service, as a matter of fact the guy at the desk was awesome, but we wasted each other’s time. 5 star customer service, 1 star for wasting my time.
The service was great! I’m not the type to write reviews but you have to give credit when you get good service. The place was clean, the staff was professional and my car was serviced and everything explained to me thoroughly. The experience I received was above and beyond of what I expected.
This place is a total scam, took our car there to get the brakes checked, they called and said it would be $700 to change the front brakes and to adjust the back brakes. My fiancée called me and told me this so I called them immediately (less then 10 minutes after they hung up the most hone with her) told them never mind that we didn’t want them to do it. He said oh we already have the car apart and he’s about to put them on so we are going to have to charge you $164 for an hour of work. Though I literally talked to you less than 10 minutes after you quoted the price. Then his solution was we can use cheaper parts that are going to make sounds and you’ll have to bring it back anyway for $550+ for doing just the front brakes.
What a horrible experience, we will not be back and will be calling their corporate office.
The staff was great! I came in for a free brake inspection and they were SUPER thorough, I like that you send a break down with pics of the issues found. Awesome experience. I've already recommended this location to a few friends. Thank you so much!
My wife called yesterday to make an appointment for an Oil change. She was told 10am tomorrow morning. I dropped the car off today and the appointment wasn’t even made, but they had her information in the computer! 12:00pm dropped the car off. I called to check on how things were around 3:30pm and the car wasn’t done yet. I come back to the shop after walking 2 miles because the bus broke down only to walk in and my car was still in the same spot where I left it. It is now the last car they’re working on before they close and on top of it they want to charge me more $$$ because the manager typed in the wrong oil type for our vehicle!!!! It is now 6:23pm and I’m still waiting!!!!! Unacceptable
