My girlfriend stopped by there yesterday inquiring about some fix a flat. Got into a heated debate about it with one of the employees until the employee that was supposed to help her said "She's a woman, she doesn't know what she's talking about." And that she shouldn't be driving a car that was "Obviously designed for men". She was driving my car. Now, my woman has been around cars her whole life and works on them, and covers the maintenance on our cars since I'm away at work a lot. It's one of our common grounds, and the fact that this sexist bs is still here in 2025 is downright appalling.
I just relocated to Rhode Island and as a DIY Auto Guy I Needed Two Muffler Clamps which they had in stock, so I picked them up only to find that the Internet Search indicated a 2.5" Clamp when I actually needed 2" Clamps. I Called Randy to let him know of my dilemma as I had already removed both clamps and he assured me he had the clamps I actually needed and had them waiting at the counter for me when I arrived. Now That Is Customer Service!
Super disappointed with the lack of hospitality when I walked into the store. The employees seem to be mad at their customers. From someone who has been in customer service for over 25 years, this was one of the most horrible experiences I’ve ever had in a retail outfit. If you hate your job that much you should look for a solution- not take it out on customers
One of their drivers tried to run me off the road. Driving like a maniac. I have a video of it. I've been driving for 15 years and never experienced something like this. You should seriously have a talk with whoever was driving. This occurred at around 5pm on November 26, 2024.
Hard to find what you want since everything is just wall to wall items. The staff was very helpful though and was able to point me to exactly what I was looking for in no time at all. The prices were a bit expensive but you aren't paying shipping, so I guess it all equals out really. The unfortunate thing if not shopping online is they didn't have the exact piece I was looking for, so I had to sorry if fudge it to make it work.
Awful customer service, im sure he knows all about everything but be ready for attitude from Neil. He rolled his eyes at me and gave me a condensending answer to my question. Guess he can't handle all the different types of customers that grace a napa counter. Luckily I calmed downafter his ambivalent and arrogant treatment and I got great help and attitude from Scott, he was happy to help me find a filter and walked me to the tools and helped me look and offered to order it when we couldn't find it.
Very helpful & friendly counter staff, always a pleasurable experience even though the reason why I'm in an auto parts store is not always. I like most NAPA stores but I find that the Wheelocks NAPA stores have a very high caliber of counter staff and highly recommend these guys.
The counter guys are some of the most knowledgeable car guys I have ever dealt with at a auto parts store.they go above and beyond to solve problems and also new and creative ways to make better quality parts fit..there all very friendly to top it off!
