David was the driver we didn’t know we needed. He was such great company on our two our drive back to Los Angeles. As two girls that were scared about the process he made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend the company and good price for the mileages covered

If I could give zero stars I would. 3 girls stuck in the middle of the grapevine on christmas night. I called & a lady gave us a quote of $109- perfect. They said some one would be there to help us within 30-40 mins. About an hour passes we call back for an ETA another lady named Tanya answers and tells us her coworker messed up on the quote and the new quote would now be $275. AFTER AN HOUR. no call back no text NOTHING. this place is a scam. Go to NITRO TOWING instead. cheap and fast and super friendly. oh and Tanya never apologized for the mix up and instead hung up on me. Please don’t go to the place the people have no sense of customer service or human decency.

If you need to hire someone, this is the one!! Emiliano from Jims towing is a good man and was a Godsend for us, going out of his way to help and be as accommodating as possible. Thursday morning we arrived from Texas and picked up a rental from enterprise at LAX. To make a long story short, the vehicle broke down on I 5 North headed toward Bakersfield. We had 4 kids in the rental minivan and it was 105 degrees on a dangerous curvy uphill. I couldn't let the kids out of the car because it was too dangerous! Roadside was dispatched but was a 45 min ETA. At the 50 min mark, we see a tow truck driving by and my husband flagged him down thinking it was Roadside. It turned out it wasn't Roadside but Emiliano saw our kiddos red faced and whilting in the back and offered to wait with us and let the kids sit in his truck in the A/C. When Roadside finally contacted me because the technician was approaching location, it turned out that he had been sent to the wrong location and didn't even have what he needed to help us. At this point we had been on the side of the road for 2 hrs!!! Thankfully Emiliano was there. We informed Roadside that Emiliano was there and ready to Tow us and thankfully he had already predicted that we were going to need the tow. He had flagged his coworker ( i think miguel) down and we were split into 2 trucks, even taking a pit stop for my youngest to go potty. Miguel patiently listened to my girls tired and nervous chatter for over an hour ?. We were told by enterprise Roadside that they would have a replacement vehicle ready when we arrived. When we finally arrived at Enterprise in Bakersfield (at the address customer service gave me) they had no idea we were even coming or what to do with the vehicle!! Emiliano was nothing but supportive. He waited patiently for well over an hour while I got on the phone and and tried to get our situation figured out. Even came inside and checked on the kids before heading out. This man made an unbearable situation a little better and we will forever be greatful that Jim's towing hires great people and holds them to a standard of excellent customer service!!! Thank you Emiliano and miguel and Thank you Jims towing for hiring amazing people!

I had the unfortunate experience of breaking down I-5 250mi from home. I called Jim's Towing and Robert was dispatched to help me. Robert called me to keep me posted on his eta and recommended an awesome repair facility after Three-Way Chevrolet declined to help. I can not say enough good things about Robert and Jim's Towing. He turned my bad day into a less regretable day. Thank you.

They arrived quickly, our gentleman was friendly & helpful, they were extra understanding when I told them I was stranded with small children ( I have had towing companies not take that into consideration before!!) and their price was very fair. We were beyond satisfied with their service and would definitely use them again if needed in the future & I would recommend them to family & friends!

Called this company to request towing services, just to find out that they are a 3rd party company who does dispatch and hires a local towing company to do the service. I was charged $240 when the driver after delivery the car gave me an invoice that said $140. Once I asked the driver about the difference in money, he didn't recognize the company name. Called the company and they did not admit they were a dispatching company not a towing company. This 877 number is a scam. Be aware of always checking if they are the actual comoany.Its so upsetting to be over charged for a 10mile trip. Shame on them...

Am a Truck driver & I had my fair share of towing companies & roadside assistance stories but By far Jim's is the best! They have help me several times in the past & all the techs have been great! Alan came out at 2 amto figure out what was going on with my truck he was able to figure it out & got me on my way. Awesome dude thanks again Alan.

My car got towed through Geico a few weeks ago. Zack went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and that my car was taken care of. I appreciate his kind words. Thanks Zack, if I ever need my own tow I will use Jims

The police use this company to tow away vehicles involved in collisions. It’s actually completely unnecessary. I recommend having your insurance company tow the car from the scene. It’s a waste of $ and time to have Jim’s tow your car. Also, they lost the key to my car. I had to work quite hard simply to have them reimburse me for the lost key. Remember, have your insurance company tow the car. Do not trust Jim’s Towing or Scott.

When we needed our Tesla towed, at 2 o'clock in the morning, we were so thankful that Jim's Towing Service sent out Miguel! He went above and beyond to transport our vehicle safely home. Thank you Miguel and Jim's Towing Service, we greatly appreciated your help!

We were literally stuck. The uhaul we had got bottom out between our driveway and the street. We are new to the area. We called every number listed in the search and including AAA who flat out said “no”. We were tired from packing and loading for 3 days straight. Finally we called Jim’s Towing Service INC and the call rep was great “yes, we can and will do that work to help you.” Within minutes Frank called and said I will be there in less than 45 minutes to help you out. He was spot on timing. Made sure we were ok and went to work. He got the job completed with ease. He was friendly and considerate to us. He helped us through his work and as a “neighbor” in the. We felt safe and cared for in our new home with such a stressful situation. We are so grateful for Frank. Glad to know there are service people who care to do the work they claim to do, and that there are still good people in the world like Frank. Thank you to everyone at Jim Towing Service Inc for helping us out of a jam.

I got stranded on the grapevine. I called around this place helped me get home. Thanks to Frank C. He let me sleep the whole way. Then when we got to my place he helped me push my car into a parking spot. Thank you Frank! You went above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it.

If I could give this place a 6/5 I totally would! My car broke down on the side of the highway while I was traveling alone. The daylight hours were rapidly dwindling and I was sufficiently spooked. Frank arrived in under an hour, which was amazing because I broke down in the middle of nowhere. The service was very prompt and good, plus Frank was a super awesome guy!

We were on our way home from Los Angeles near the grapevine when we got a flat tire around 7pm. I was extremely thankful Frank was able to change our tire. He arrived within 45 minutes which I thought was incredible considering the location of where we were. Frank skipped dinner to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. If that isn’t going above and beyond then I do not know what is. Thanks Frank!

I was on my way to Nestle purina in Maricopa California and when i was on 166 to turn on golden cat road i turned into a curved shoulder to park and when I went to avoid a pile of dirt i got stuck in a ditch. As soon as i turned in my report to my company, Frank was there in a flash. He was very courteous, helpful, witty, and professional. He went above and beyond to get me out of there. If anyone is in the Bakersfield area and need towing service, Frank is the man to call. I dare anyone to say one bad thing about him. Frank. We had a very good experience with our driver, Frank. We were coming up from LA, so quite a distance, to meet him at the spot our van had broken down. Frank was very flexible with timing as we had to adjust our projected arrival a few times due to delays. Our interaction at the pick up point was very positive and professional. We were pleased with Frank's service and with this company.

Called in. The receptionist took all my info and quoted me a price. Said pick up eta would be 2 hours. Waited the 2 hours, and called back to see if the tow was on the way. They had no record of my tow request. Then she asked if I wanted to schedule another tow with an hour wait. Seriously... I'm not going to wait another for you to probably lose my info again. Called a different company and they were on it.

We had a last minute change of plans in donating our vehicle. Jim’s towing was already coming to our location, which is an hour away from them. They were excellent in working with us to cancel the original plan and move the vehicle to the new planned location. They gave us a deal. David was the driver and he went above and beyond. It’s rare to come across good workers like him anymore. We appreciate this company and will use them again for our towing needs.

moral of the story: never ever ever ever ever rely on this company and choose them for any type of servicem YOU'VE BEEN WARNED **** believe all the negative reviews listed. they are the truth. I drive back and forth on the i5 from Bakersfield to Los Angeles multiple times a week. I always wondered how frustrating it would be to break down over the grapevine with little cell reception and easily a 45 minute walk to the nearest exist sometimes. well I had a first hand experience yesterday. geico Ddispatched Jim's towing to pick me up because I had a flat tire. I had very terrible cellphone coverage and I had to walk from my car 20 minutes to get reception. I had an estimate of 1hour wait for pick up. I waited an hour. no one arrived. I call Jim's towing they said they couldn't find me and canceled dispatch. so I call geico again and reschedule. I send a picture of my location from gps as well as audi coordinates from my nqvigation. my wife calls to confirm they received and to call her if I don't have reception.. not only did they not show up again. they did not call either me or my, wife and lied to geico stating I wasn't in my car and wasn't at the location.. needless to say I called aaa and I was back on the road within 45 minutes.. mark my word, if you choose this service u will be left stranded for atleast 4 hours. believe all the negative reviews listed. they are the truth

Just got the best service from this company tonight. I should have got the drivers name but he was working a night shift 7/22/19-7/23/19 and he helped me after waiting TWO hours for my road side assistance. He fixed the problem that they made on my tire. He got my car done in 15 minutes. If I could’ve tipped him more I would have. Please use these guys for any car need!

Greg was AWESOME! Very excellent service, fast, knowledgeable & makes you feel all around comfortable!!! He rescued my whole family after we hit a nasty rock in the road blowing out 2 tires! So thankful for Jim’s Towing & GREG for saving us again!! GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE! Two thumbs up ??

WOW! Too bad there wasn’t an option to post negative stars because I would!! Only gave one star because I had too, I could not post unless I selected something!! I set up an appointment for a tow the day before for 9:30am. Called dispatch and apparently it was set up for 9:45 which was conveniently at the same exact time I called, dispatch said someone would be there any minute. Called back at 10:00am and dispatch called driver and eta was at least 45 minutes out!!!! It’s amazing the lack of respect and understanding of someone else’s time. Costumer service is ridiculous with this company, I do not recommend or will ever use them again.

Excellent and friendly service! Gregory went the extra mile and took me home to the opposite side of town after dropping the car off at the dealership and helping me with the paperwork. That kind of customer service and dedication take the experience from good to exceptional.

Fast service, great price. My driver, Benny, was courteous, clean and his flat bed was well maintained with a very clean bed. I drove AAA for over a decade and know what to expect from a company and its driver and equipment. I will use these folks again and gladly recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs service. Jim's towing was great. Jamie our driver was knowledgable and friendly. Broke down on I5 Hwy near Grapevine. Called them and they arrived in 30 minutes. Jamie knew the mechanic we selected and said he was an honest guy. Very helpful! Thank you!
