Hartford Insurance dispatched them for my MIL’s car that became disabled while she was driving. Her Suburu Forester made a noise like hitting a pothole (there was no pothole) she attempted to pull off Santa Fe Rd and fortunately was able to before the steering locked up. My sister in law came to the spot to pick up my FIL for his medical appt. I came and waited with my MIL for the tow. Shortly after I arrived she got notified of the towing 60-100 mins. We then called Alec and Lonnie towing and they say less than 60. Approx 40 mins later Lonnie came. Super nice guy. He went the extra mile to assess the situation and he became angry when he realized that the A Arm bolt was missing especially after she just had the car serviced. The A arm had jammed into the wheel well. Lonnie took video and shared with me. He then jacked up the car to put the arm back and used a temporary hitch pin to get the wheel to turn straight so he could bring the car to the dealer where they had done a shoddy repair job. He was gracious and kind and showed urgency in his anger. I believe he went above and beyond in a situation that could have been far worse than it was. He truly came to the rescue. Thankful for his compassion

Lonnie was very helpful today. I have never been stranded in a rental y'all. Truly debilitating. But Lonnie was expedient and professional and made sure we made it all the way to our replacement car and helped us move our things. I will not be dealing with thrifty rental cars ever again but should I find myself stranded in Central Cali I will definitely b reaching out. Many thanks, God Bless.

Lonnie was amazing! We had an issue with our electric vehicle not starting - everything went dead and we couldn’t even close our doors. We called two companies and both said they could not help us due to the fact that the vehicle wouldn’t start and we couldn’t put it in neutral. Well, Lonnie had no problem and jumped our vehicle and within 15 minutes we were being towed. He even sent a text with an image letting us know that he had dropped off our vehicle and it was safe and sound at the dealership. Highly recommend this company!

Quick & excellent service! My BMW had a flat tire and Alec & Lonnie were contacted through the BMW road side assistance department. I received quick confirmation and a contact number, I called the number and Lonnie let me know when he would be 20 minutes out so that I could meet him at the car. Very quick service and my car was delivered safely to BMW for tire replacement. I highly recommend these guys!

I’ve used A&L towing three times now and they haven’t let me down yet. Lonnie is very professional. They have given me the best quotes in town. I own a 78 GMC pickup truck that likes to give me problems. If u own a classic vehicle you know u need a reliable tow service, A&L is that business. Keep in mind they do get busy, but trust me it’s worth the wait.

Had my Subaru broke down on side of road. Had to wait for Subaru to assign a tow truck and thankfully was matched with them. They were on site within 15 mins of receiving the dispatch. They took the time and care with my car to make sure it wasn't damaged being pulled up into the flat bed and just as much care removing it. If you need a tow and want a reputable company this is your place.

Situation… Heading up Tehachapi mtn on our way to Mammoth lakes for 4 days of camping. 34’ camping trailer, 2 kids, a wife, and a crazy dog… and our truck breaks down halfway up the hill. No good. If anybody has ever been in that situation, where they’re stuck on the side of the road with wife and kids, and there’s trucks and other cars, zooming by, you understand the worry and stress I was going through. Desperate to get things moving I start Googling tow trucks. By happenstance, I called Lonnie with A&L towing. He answered right away, understood my situation and he was there in no time at all. And I’m trying to make a long story short but..he towed both truck and trailer back to Bakersfield, parked my trailer in front of my house, helped me unload the camping stuff out of the truck!! And then drove me to a repair shop. But the story doesn’t end there. After he dropped me off and left, I found out that shop couldn’t provide the service I needed so he came back, loaded the truck back up, and took me to another place. I’ve already sent screenshots of his business card to friends and family in case they are ever in a situation so they have somebody reliable to call on. I will close with, and I only close with this because… His equipment and cab of truck is very neat, and clean. I say that because… Sorry for the dog hair Lonnie! Couldn’t have asked for a better towing experience. Lonnie is very accommodating. He is clearly a skilled and experienced driver, his truck is very clean and comfortable to ride in and he is just a kind person. We had broken down on our way to go camping and he helped make the best out of a bummer situation. 10/10 service!!

We were stuck in the middle of a valley with a flat tyre. It was a very dangerous place to stop and there was no network. Lonnie came to our rescue. He got there really quickly and made sure we were safe. He was very friendly and helpful. We were trying to book an uber to get the replacement for our rental car, but we couldn’t find one. Lonnie told us it was not safe for us to wait there and he dropped us in a safe place from where we could book a cab. Couldn’t imagine the situation we would have been in without his help!! Very reliable company. Lonnie was very patient and helpful! My car was stuck in a driveway, it wasn't starting but he still managed to get it on his tow truck and drove it to our drop off destination. I am so appreciative of his kindness and understanding.

They were very helpful helping me with my flat tire. They even changed the flat tire for my spare tire when I got home. They made sure my tires had air and filled the spare. Very helpful overall and had a good experience. Would recommend them to anyone that needs any roadside assistance.

I experienced a Gateway module malfunction in my 2022 Ford Expedition tow vehicle while racing at BWRP on a Saturday morning. Lonnie towed my vehicle to the nearest Ford dealership in Bakersfield. He was so careful about dolly placement, protecting my Stealth edition wheel’s & explicitly following the dealership’s instructions. He kept in constant contact with my wife, who was at home in San Clemente, so that I could continue to concentrate on racing. He even took multiple images of my vehicle during the loading procedure & where he dropped it off at the dealership. A total professional! I highly recommend them.
