There driver was driving extremely fast on the freeway and dropping rocks off the flatbed of his truck peppered my brand new car with rocks and chips my windshield When I called the company, the first thing the owner asked me. Do you have video evidence of my truck driver being responsible for it I literally tried to flag down his driver. The guy just waved me along and ignored me. The owner kept telling me anybody could’ve done it Doing everything but taking responsibility immediately defensive the owner of this company is definitely a crook lacks the ability to take responsibility for his drivers actions It’s their tow truck drivers Responsibility to make sure his flatbed is clear of all loose debris. This is extremely unsafe and almost caused me to get into an accident. I would steer clear of this place completely and if you use them, make sure you take tons of videos and pictures and expect refusal if they damage your vehicle
My car died on the way home from work and they showed up within 30 minutes and got my car towed very quickly, the drivers were super friendly and efficient. The next day I had them tow it to a shop, Jose showed up within 10 minutes of calling them and got my car down to the shop super fast, incredibly nice and helpful as well. I needed an itemized bill for my insurance to get reimbursed for the tows which they provided very promptly. Great service, would definitely use them again.
My car broke down on August 13, 2025. I called my insurance company to arrange a tow. They searched around and found JV Towing. We were told we might have an hour to an hour and a half wait. Instead, to our surprise Ulysses and Jose pulled up in about 40 minutes, having to come quite a distance. They were great. They brought my car up onto their immaculate truck for transport and took me home. Ulysses and Jose are personable and happy to be serving their customers. Jose is an attentive and careful driver. I judge a company also by how their premises look - grass and dirty windows at a cafe, or dirty, paper-strewn vehicles, but JV Towing keeps their equipment ship shape. I also looked at the tread on their tires- an easy way for lesser companies to cut corners, but here too, JV Towing keeps a high bar. I added them to my key vendors list for the next time I need a tow. Great folks.
Lazy driver made my 55 year old disabled mother push the towed car while he steered the car. Couldn't even find my house thats easily found via Google maps. Don't go here. Called, no responsibility, not caring about getting bad reviews, total ignorance. Enjoy thinking you havent done anything wrong or rude.
I cracked my oil pan on a median and my car was stuck on top of it. Within only 10 minutes of calling, José pulled up and was able to perfectly maneuver my car off of the median without additionally scraping it at all. You’re amazing José! Thank you!!
I had to use their service through Intoxalock due to a locked out car from the device. I explained to the dispatcher that the car wouldn't start, and I would need a ride to the location. When the employees came, I had to repeat myself because they seemed unaware of the situation and also didn't know I needed a ride. I hate when others touch my car because they're so careless. I understand they had to manually put it in neutral, but whatever they did, they didn't make it right because now my car has a shift sys fault error and won't go into park. I called and remained respectful, but definitely displayed my disgust at their lack of care and ethics. Of course I was dismissed and was told their boss would call me back. Honestly, I'm not wasting any more time with this awful, careless company of employees. Enjoy your bad review and I hope someone who has the resources will eventually take you to court.
Tow company failed to deliver my vehicle to the correct location the first day, and further failed to communicate with me. I can understand that mistakes happen, but please communicate with the customer along the way. I made it clear that I was available for a phone call should anything go wrong when they picked up the vehicle, but when things went wrong I had to do the sleuthing to learn about that. If you had called me immediately I am certain it would have saved your team the trip to return the car the next day, and would have caused me less anxiety over where the vehicle was.
A terrible company tried to steal my car, claiming they were the towing service I had called. Luckily, Northwestern Towing (the company I actually called) was nearby. They saw what was happening, called me, and stopped the other company just before they loaded my car onto their truck. If they had loaded it, I would have been forced to pay a fee to get it unloaded.
When I called to complain, I was rudely hung up on while trying to politely figure out if there had been a mix-up. It seems it was intentional, and they were trying to cover their ass. The Northwestern Towing driver told me this happens often—towing companies steal jobs from each other, expecting people to pay the fees, knowing most can’t afford to take them to court. Just gross, vulturous, and predatory behavior, taking advantage of poor people. DO NOT RECOMMEND, would give them a 0/5 if Google would allow me.
Don’t use them! If you need to use this towing company, make sure to document everything. Take pictures when they start loading your vehicle, while it’s on the truck, and when they unload it. We had damage to our car and they initially denied responsibility, but our photos proved otherwise. After we reported the incident to management, they were reluctant to cover our expenses. It took several days of back-and-forth before they agreed to reimburse us for the towing and repair costs. We chose to give them the benefit of the doubt instead of going through our insurance or pursuing legal action. Just be cautious and keep thorough records! I do not recommend this company.
Our insurance company dispatched JV Towing to us. They were prompt, communicated well with us to determine our needs, and the driving team was very professional and courteous. We are absolutely satisfied with their work.
Getting a flat tire is never an enjoyable experience but dealing with JV Towing to deliver it to the dealership to get it fixed was quite painless. Very friendly and commutative. Driver was great and allowed me to be taken to the dealership so I didn't have to find other means to get there. Would highly recommend using them if ever having to deal with this type of thing again. Thank you all at JV Towing.
My new lyriq was 100% dead in my garage and the roadside assistance through onstar sent JV towing. Carlos and Thomas arrived ahead of schedule, used a special jump box to get my car started and drove it onto their flatbed. The other company that was supposed to come the first time was going to pull it on dollys (had to cancel because that dealership caught fire). They were nice, efficient, funny, and very knowledgeable (especially about EVs) 100% if I need a tow or any other of their services again I will ask for JV. They are also towing my car from camas to Salem for me which I appreciate very much! Thank you guys!
Excellent tow company, I would highly recommend them if you need a vehicle towed. Our car broke down on the side of the road so AAA sent JV Towing to pick us up. The two people who came were efficient, friendly, careful and knew what they were doing. Thanks JV Towing for getting us and our car back home.
We did not catch the name of the gentleman and lady that came out to tow our car over to the dealership after our battery died but they were amazing. We were stuck on the side of the road and they were quick to come and help us out. Would definitely recommend them! Thank you guys again!
The tow operator who responded, Sam, was friendly, patient and understanding of my unique situation and tried to help troubleshoot my car issue first before towing. I was parked in a very tight spot and he was able to safely manually move my vehicle into a better spot to be able to engage the tow. Then dropping the car off at the auto shop like a pro perfectly into the designated spot. All of this during the evening in the cold and rain and heavy wind. Very thankful!
