I lost my phone at the prince william dump. Called American Recycling asking to look for my phone and they were extremely helpful! They found my phone, no problems, and without damage. Took the time out of their day just to find my phone! Amazing company and even better workers!!! Highly recommend!
Worst trash company that we ever had to deal with. They broke our trash can we ordered another one not even 2 months later they broke it again and said there is nothing they can do. They said order another one and they can deliver it. After call the next trash pick up our trash can was completely missing. Good thing im 6'3 and used to do boxing cause ill be waiting for them next pick up. Maybe talking to guy will help fix his attitude towards his job. Can't let these companies take advantage of us.
American recycling center is very professional fast and efficient. Jazlyn Brenda & Meghan has incredible teamwork skills that’ll take care of many questions or challenges. Great work guys!
They added a "yard waste" charge on my bill and when I called them they stated that they just named it that but it was because of the distance that they drive. Their location is within 5 miles of my house and don't get me started on them leaving my containers across and down the road.
It's been 2 months now since this company has picked up our recycling. We have called 4 times, and been assured each time that a truck would be out, that the supervisor had been notified, and that their operations manager was on top of the issue. Yet, after 2 months, they still have not picked up our recycling. Do not use this service.

They came by a day late and when they did. They only picked up the recycling bins across the street and left ours. It's the third time this has happened.
Yard waste has been sitting for weeks. Not sure what’s going on. We purposely switch from Republic because of their poor customer service. Now experiencing some lag in services.
Lately, service is on Saturday, not Wednesday. News to us, we didn’t know or wasn’t advised of the changes.
As a note, when we established our American Recycling account, we specifically asked about missed pickups and the policy. The representative stated their policy is to pick up on the next business day and even on Saturday.
Come on guys. Can we clean up the curbs in the neighborhood, the residents are doing their part and maintaining their yards.

The low IQ invalids they have running the trucks don't know how to put the bins back properly where they got them from. They block the driveway every time.
