Great place, with knowledgeable people. As I assume everyone knows they sell low mile junk yard engines, so it’s luck of the draw sometimes. I purchased a 1ZZ-FE engine here, unfortunately it had excessive oil consumption which these engines are known for. It was using a quart in 150 miles. After doing some troubleshooting they warrantied a replacement with no trouble at all. The replacement is perfect, and runs great. Its burned no oil at all.
I have been working on restoring a 05 xterra for about 3 years now. I have the vehicle nearly completed minus some small minors things. During my restoration I had lost some parts either thrown away due to rust or misplaced. I reached out to jdm city and ask if I could purchase just a bracket mount harness off the xterra manual transmission that they have for sale. They were kindly enough to sell it without purchasing a wholes trans. I was able to source it from here as the next available one was upstate NY on market place. This saved me a long trip for such a small item. Thank you.

If I could give it a negative star I would, though I don’t know if they have quality parts or not they do have some horrible customer service. I agreed with someone for a transmission with installation for a certain price, after I had my car towed to them they then changed up the price and even asked me to pay before any service was done. Didn’t want to accept credit card and said I had to Zelle them.
Great to work with, polite, and pleasant. Purchasing here was a breath of fresh air compared to many people selling used parts! Definitely would recommend JDM City to others.

I traveled from West Virginia to get a motor I accidentally got the wrong one came back no questions asked swapped it for the correct one with the cooler lines mine required my mistake but very friendly helpful loading and quality engine thank you highly recommend
Terrible experience with this company. After buying transmission from them, the transmission was so bad that the car refused to move, and they took 4 weeks to come pick up the bad transmission and asked me to pay for pickup.
Do not do business with them if you want peace of mind.

Why do you have to be defensive? We called you and you sent a mechanic about 10 days after the transmission was delivered and the car wasn’t moving. In October you promised to come pick it up and I kept calling till you called me last week to say you forgot. So why are you lying. Tbh, I’m not ever impressed with this company and the fact that you think you can tell lies is baffling. Give me my full refund is all I asked. Thank you. God bless you.

**STAY AWAY** Nothing but **SCAMMERS, LIERS AND THIEVES** MARK the owner sold us the WRONG TRANSMISSION!! After the first one BLEW UP ON THE HIGHWAY he blamed our mechanic. He would not stand by his warranty but after begging him to help us he gave us another transmission with no warranty this time. We then took it to MARKS RECOMMENDED certified mechanic to have it installed. AGAIN IT BLEW UP ON THE HIGHWAY!! This time it ended up destroying the transfer case, axel, and other parts of my car!! For the second time he AGAIN BLAMED THE MECHANIC!! We now have 3 mechanics including his recommended mechanic, and a TOYOTA DEALERSHIP mechanic that now have told MARK it’s the WRONG TRANSMISSION AND HE REFUSES TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!! His last excuse to us now is we never gave him the VIN number to our car!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??? That is the first thing we did before purchasing from him!!!! Any good automotive supply shop would always make sure it’s the right equipment for your car!! We have now spent SO MUCH MONEY dealing with this over the last month and have no choice but to take him to court!! ALSO DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE 5 STAR REVIEWS. He LIED and told the mechanic that he would refund us our money back if we got a letter from Toyota stating it’s the wrong transmission and if we left him a 5 star review!! WHAT A JOKE!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY!!!
Experience was amazing, service was very nice and fast and was able to leave the store with a k20a engine that I have wanted for my RSX, definitely plan to come again if I need any sort of engine or transmission
Hands down Best place to buy any JDM engine. Very nice, honest people. I purchased a very healthy.k24 and know surprise it runs amazing. And it costs Less than Getting one on Facebook. And you get a 30 day warranty And I highly recommend everyone else to spend money with them. No matter what you are getting you will be happy with it!

I bought an ej253 swapped valve covers, coolant crossover pipe, flex plate, PCV and installed my old intake manifold and the engine runs flawlessly. Quality engines highly recommend.

I was hesitant about driving so far away for an engine but when i got there i was surprised about how friendly and helpful the employees were and when i got the engine everything checked out and worked perfectly!! stopped by recently to check out what they had. The guys there were incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable. The prices seemed more than fair and they had an incredible amount of motors, body panels, exhausts, wheels, and front cuts. If you need a imported motor, JDM City Virginia is the place to go And huge thanks to Daniel for hookup on all my MR2 Swaps that I got from him.
JDM these people got good Motors Transmissions you name it they also have rims car parts so talk to Daniel he's a really good guy who give you a good price I just bought a motor from him and it came out really nice sounds good strong now I'm going back for a transmission so you guys come on in and talk to Daniel he'll give you a good price there are in Manassas off of road 28 just passed Manassas Park on the Right side of the Euclid Ave go ahead and go in and get your parts that you need.
