I own a Ford truck and I called twice to schedule a service appointment, and both times they hung up on me. This is a complete lack of respect for potential customers; they need to improve their phone service.

I purchased a brand new dump truck from this dealership in November 2025, and less than a year later it has been sitting undrivable with under 3,000 miles due to serious failures involving the dump bed and braking system. This has already cost my business a significant amount of money because I have active contracts that cannot be completed while the truck is down. Despite the sales contract being made directly with Ford, I have been bounced back and forth between the dealership and the body manufacturer with no one taking responsibility. Follow ups that were promised never happened. Communication has been slow, inconsistent, and at times nonexistent. I have had to chase answers repeatedly while continuing to lose income every week. This is unacceptable for a commercial dealer selling brand new work vehicles. A truck this new should not be sidelined for over a month with unresolved warranty issues, especially when a customer’s livelihood depends on it. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to pursue formal legal options to recover my losses and hold the appropriate parties accountable. Buyers should be extremely cautious before purchasing from this location if they depend on their vehicles to operate a business.

Bought two trucks here! Will NEVER even walk foot into those doors after my experience this morning trying to get an oil change and a new tire! Absolute HORRIBLE customer service! My company would never! Do not, I repeat do not give them your business or get ripped off on car Maintence. Do your research first please! I repeat do not do business here!

Be careful! Their service reservation system does not work at all, so they claim. If true, not sure why they have it up, very inconsiderate. I made an appointment, they sent me three reminders, then I walked in early after driving 30 miles thru traffic only to be told by Glen the truck service desk manager that the system does not work, he did not know I had an appointment, and it would be 3-4 days before they could even look at my truck. Funny thing is though, I accidentally stopped at their regular service center first, and they knew all about the appointment, pulled it up, and directed me over to the truck center where Glen was at, so someone is either lying or incompetent. Big mess and cost me a whole morning off work! I was actually going to have my truck fixed, an F-250, and then see about trading it in the same day on a new one, as we are going on a long trip with our camper and are ready for a new F-250. This place has definitely went way down hill since I bought my first one though, so they just lost service fees and selling me a new $80k+ truck. Recommend you find another place for service and sales. They are not what they use to be.

Brought my car in after the AC stopped working a few weeks after it was brought in for a recall for the front blower motor. I set an appointment on the phone through the automated system. Arrived on schedule, told Giovanni the issue and symptoms were related to the recall since i researched that recalls can be fixed twice. Was given a ride home via LYFT complimentary , which was nice. Got home and got a call that they need more time to see what’s going on since they were short staffed which I say was ok. The next morning comes along and I call and keep getting a voicemail for “Reginald” I call the front desk multiple times “Brooke” and have to tell her give me a real person. It’s phone tag at this point. After like 7 calls I get a random tech that puts me on hold and then then call drops. I give up and then at 1:33 pm I finally get a voicemail from Giovanni with the “update” I call back almost immediately and no luck. Voicemail tag again. 2 hours later he calls back with a breakdown of it not being related to the recall (fishy) and says it’s the “blower motor resistor” that melted and they need to attach pig tails to it and it will cost 625 before taxes. Then also says I need a new water pump from a leak they found and spark plugs for preventative maintenance as a recommendation. I was blown away by the amount that totaled almost 2500.00 that should have just been a recall redo. During this call tell him money is tight and I’ll have to think about the repairs. Now remember, NEVER once was I told or aware of a diagnosis fee for any of this. I called my mechanic over the weekend and he told me to retrieve the car Monday. I called back Monday morning and After phone tag again for 10 minutes with Brooke and the Reginald voicemail Box I finally got through Giovanni and tell him I need to retrieve my car and he hits me with a 185 diagnostic fee that I was never aware of. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. I’ve attached the recall photo of a known overheating issue with the blower moter which is exactly what I’m getting ripped off on with this entire situation right now.

I would like to start by thanking Mr. Karwan so much for his assistance from our initial meeting. He helped me place a special order for a cargo van and kept following up with the order status the entire waiting time. He was extremely devoted to helping me and I would highly recommend working with him if you’d like to have a flawless experience in buying a commercial vehicle.

I went to Ford Truck Commercial Vehicle Center located at 8846 Mathis Ave. Manassas, VA needing several items with 2006 E450 back in 2020. I started having the same problems within 6 months of service. I never thought to have any of the work performed by Ford checked by anyone else since Ford is trustworthy and one of the big guys! I finally had the alternator checked (it’s not even two years old) that was installed by Ford a long with $3000 + other work done and given a two year warranty. I showed up on 7/15/22 and was told the warranty would not cover the brand new alternator cause it’s an aftermarket part that’s from another company and Ford don’t cover any parts if it not their name brand. Hmmm! I could not believe what their were telling me the part was going installed by Ford. They excepted me to agree to the same aftermarket part with labor again at full price. I was very disappointed and shocked. I spoke to the service advisor Mike Gail and manager Bob Justice and they were not concerned about what was going on just want to stick to scripted paperwork instead of admitting that they were wrong. The end result I left with the same faulty alternator and still dealing with it a week later. My E450 is a full service nail salon on wheels if I cannot go out I don’t make money. It’s a week later and I am still waiting for my shop to be repair. If you get any service from Ford make sure all your PARTS are from FORD they will not tell you this and will let you leave thinking everything is covered. I will never go back!!!

Had my RV serviced for a safety recall plus an oil change. It was a really great experience. My service advisor Glenn was great to work with and the services were performed in a timely manner. I'll definitely be using Battlefield Commercial Services for my future service needs. Thank you!

I’d previously had a bad experience here a year or so ago when they tried to change me $200 for a warranty repair. Got an offer for a $29.95 oil change by email so I thought I’ll give them another chance. BIG MISTAKE!!! As soon as I started check in they started with the bait and switch claiming the discount didn’t cover the real price but “they’d help me out”. I made a stink so the service manager said they’d honor the coupon price. Gee. Thanks. Stay away from these crooks.

Not generous with price discount for parts with Ford owners. The worst service department in the area. it costs $600 and over 2 days to fix the horn on my Cmax Hybrid without a loaner car. Never Battlefield Ford for buying or servicing any car again.

So I bought a Subaru WRX from a Ford dealership in Richmond in May of 2018. The vehicle had 15k miles. I purchased the Ford extended warranty with the car, since I was told the factory would be expiring soon. Fast forward to September of 2019 and I'm having throw out bearing issues. No problem though, that's why I have a warranty. I called the closest dealership to me Battlefield Ford. The main location reffered me to the Mathis Ave. location. After setting up the appt. I arrived and had to explain to them why I was bringing a Subaru to a Ford dealership. Which makes sense. The tried to tell me that the factory warranty should still be in effect because I was only at 34k miles not over 36k. I informed them that I was told the warranty only had 8 months left when I purchased it. They didn't disagree with me and proceeded to accept the car. I got home expecting to receive a call later in the day to be able to inform my Captain that I would need to take an extra day or not. 4 pm comes around and nothing. I called the desk # given to me and inquire. It rang and I got a automated system telling me I needed to press 2 to get to the Service department. I do and it rings and rings again nobody answers and I get the same system telling me to press 2 and the cycle repeats. I the call the cell phone # provided and no answer so I leave a voicemail asking for a call back so I know to take more leave. 6 pm and they are closed and still no phone call, so I put in more leave. In the morning I get a call from them telling me I needed to pick it up because it was still covered under factory warranty (you can use your extend warranty before the factory expires). I arrive and ask why this wasn't confirmed the day before to avoid this waste of time? They told me I insisted on leaving it at which time I reiterated my interaction the first day, but fine I guess I'll take it to a Subaru dealership. I called to setup an appointment with Subaru which I quickly was informed that my factory warranty was indeed expired... I was also told then that I could still take it to a Subaru dealer (another key piece of info I wasn't told). I called back to let Battlefield know what was going on and that more care should be given to not waste the customers and dealerships time. They could not hang up fast enough when they figured out I was not calling to setup another appt. Apart from the obvious reasons to not be pleased with the level of service they provided, I would hope they did not put me thru this ordeal because they did not want to work on the vehicle. Either way, the level of customer service at the location is severely lacking. If you made it halfway thru the review you have already shown more commitment than they have. Keep this in mind before bringing the vehicle you paid good money for to use your warranty. Drive the extra distance.

Called last week about a truck advertised in the Commercial Truck Trader. Was told they would verify availability and call me back. That was 5 days ago. Just called and the same lady tells me that truck is sold. No problem, just COMMUNICATE. I was ready to buy over the phone last week and it would have been nice to know it wasn't available at all. I consider that to be common courtesy, but I guess if you can't make a sale you just don't return calls.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Went in to replace spark plugs, they found the root cause and fixed it! Everything together came under what I was prepared to spend. Thanks Battlefield Ford, you saved this Soldier's ride!

Can i give negative stars? My boyfriend and I went to VA from PA to purchase a truck for our business. Everything seemed great as they had everything prepared before we arrived. We signed all the paperwork and seemed to be almost rushed out the door, we had to remind our salesman that he hadnt taken out CASH down payment. After taking care of that we brought our truck home. This was mid December.. fast forward a month later.. I now have a 2017 E450 sitting in my driveway that is basically useless because the temporary tag has expired. We called in, couldn't be given a straight answer on why we haven't received our PA tags, and were sent a second temp tag. Fast forward another TWO MONTHS and I'm back to square one, still no permanent tag, and once again I have this beautiful truck I can not drive. After a few weeks of phone calls, none of which battlefield could help us with, we have to go straight to the out of state notary service (battlefield which is located in VA uses a notary service in FL for our PA tags) to find out the problem ourselves. We're told we would have our tag in a few days.. two weeks after we were done fighting to have our truck registered we have to call battlefield to let them know to mail us our tag, which they had for over a week. This was literally a nightmare to buy a truck. I would no recommend this dealership to my worst enemy.

They charged me for doing my oil changes, not a problem. I do have a problem when I end up with two broken valves because they never touched my oil filter (for a few years at least)(10,000 miles an oil change) and I even question now if they changed my oil. When the repair was being done to the valves, the oil filter had to be removed, but broke apart and was burnt onto the mount. It had to be pried off, as the filter broke apart!!! I do not even want to start in on how bad the mechanics are at their "quick lane" shop. Avoid them if you need a dependable vehicle to drive.

I was in a bind and called them the night before Thanksgiving and got a hold of the manager. He was super friendly and very helpful. We couldn't do anything that night and had to wait until Friday. When I walked in Friday, they were ready to go in helping me get a 2017 15 passenger Chevy Express. I'm very happy with the staff and the vehicle.

Rating is for the service center. Recently had a warranty repair on my vehicle. Shop set me up with a rental car due to the long projected repair wait time. Repairs were done much quicker than estimated and a staff person called me the next day as follow up to determine if satisfied with the repair.

I would like to thank Steven Faye and David Ledgere for their superior service and their personable attention when working with me to repair my vehicle. They have made my car safe for my family and I to drive again. Saying thank you to David (Service Manager) is just not enough. My gratitude to Steven Faye goes beyond a thank you and if I can give a higher rating than 5 stars I would. I have recommended your place to everyone I know. You both are a blessing Sandy Wilson.

Do not do business with these people! There were only willing to give me $2,000 less than my actual trade in value on my car! They were unwilling to negotiate at all! I drove all the way from Richmond, so I can't believe they did that to me. They showed me false paperwork from Kelley Blue Book on my trade in value. I checked Kelley Blue Book myself, immediately when I got back and saw that my car had the trade-in value I thought it had (which was $2,000 more than they said it was). The car I was buying, however, was a good deal. I can't believe they were going to take advantage of a pregnant woman this way! If you have a trade-in and you are a woman, do not go here! You have been warned! They kept pressuring me to get a loan, and I kept telling them I couldn't do a loan with a toddler at home and twins on the way. I felt they were just trying to screw me to get some sort of loan commission. FYI- While I was there, they talked about people that had recently quit. I got the impression there is high-turnover here. My experience with management was really poor, so that makes sense.

I was looking high and low for an E-450 V-10 Cutaway van and could not find any. I finally found one in a bailment pool in Pennsylvania and was told to contact Mike Kelly in Manassas Va to purchase it. Mike was on top of everything, made the deal, kept me in constant contact with his representative at Morgan Body Company in Pennsylvania, made sure the body was built to my specifications, made arrangements for me to pick my completed truck up at the factory. His was very reassuring and while being over 650 miles from me I knew that I was in good hands. We did everything via email and phone, all the paperwork was shipped to me FedEx, a different way to buy a truck, but it went as smooth as if I was sitting in his office, if in fact he does have one. Pricing was extremely competitive, overall I could not be happier with my purchase and the service from Mike and Battlefield Ford Truck. Thanks Mike, I appreciate it!

Extremely poor customer service. I purchased a used truck from Battlefield Ford that only had one key, and was assured multiple times by the salesperson that the key did not have a chip in it and would only cost $2 to duplicate. After finding out that the key did indeed have a chip in it (required to start the truck) and would cost around $100 or so to duplicate, I called them back and was told that it was tough luck, and that they would not reimburse me for the cost of the key. Horrible attitude towards customers, especially after the sale! Be forewarned and look elsewhere.

Not sure what happened with the other reviewers, my experience with the Service department certainly exceeded my expectations. Provided great customer service and kept me in the know every hour. Time went by quickly, plenty of coffee, clear TV channels, and great folks working in the office and good Techs in the shop. Thanks BF!

Terrible customer service. Battlefield can't even keep billing straight. They tried to bill me for work that is covered under warranty. They can't keep accurate files or warranty information straight. They have no any accountability. Megan was less then helpful and had a nonchalant attitude. They make a difficult situation even worse.

I typically get nervous looking at cars. I anticipate that I am going to be ripped off before I even walk in the door so I did as much research I could do online. In the process of comparing prices and features at a few dealerships, I was pleasantly surprised by the personal and prompt response from Battlefield Ford. The staff answered all of my questions, helped me get financed at a great rate, and they were so friendly. It has been a few months since I bought my car and I am so happy with it!! I have called with a few questions since the purchase and they are still very helpful. I will be shopping here the next time I am car shopping. I just feel like I can trust these guys. THANKS!!!

I purchased a 2013 Ford Focus almost 2 months ago. I wanted to wait before writing this review to make sure I am being fair. Pros: Battlefield Ford has a nice staff. I love the Ford Focus and defiantly want another in the future. The ride is smooth, very spacious, nice design, etc. Cons: The staff at battlefield ford is a little confusing. Many times I received mixed messages and I brought my boyfriend who verified this for me. The sales man lacked in making sure I was informed. He did not mention to me that the base model has no fog lights, no cruise control and no floor mats. If he had told me I would of bought the next grade up. From this experience I have learned to ask more questions next time, but this does not excuse him from not providing these details. He would of made a bigger sale if he had. So I recommend buying the Ford Focus still. Amazing car and amazing brand! Note: my rating for service is fair, not poor.

Took my daughters Focus wagon there because the key no longer worked in the cylinder( worked all morning then simply stopped). I was told they wouldn't be able to get to it for a week so I started making arangements to have it towed when Paul the mechanic walked out at 4:45pm with a hammer and the key( $165 key) and began wailing on the key in the lock with the hammer. I stopped him and asked him what he was doing. He explained that they had been having a number of locks failing in a similar manner and that if he got it to work he wouldn't have to drill out the cylinder. A couple of minutes later he had the car started and the cylinder out, he said he expected to be done before 9am. So imagine my surprise at 8am the next day when Mike informed me that I was being charged full price for drilling out the cylinder - basically charging 5 hours of labor for two hours of work - AVOID THIS PLACE AND SAVE SEVERAL HUNDRED $$$$... I am now waitng to see if they will charge me for the key Paul destroyed to save having to drill out the cylinders and the $109 for the complete diagnostics they failed to perform before starting work!

I have taken my last three vehicles to Ford for repairs and service. They do a great job and the Service Managers are very helpful and try to get me out of there asap. I have dealt with Chris Norrell, Michael B, and Doug Dent and they are always pleasant. The mechanics come out to explain what is going on in a way I can understand and do not try to con me because I am a female. The only little down side is that it can be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. K. Medici-Heseltine Bristow, VA
