Dallas and his team at Horton's tow vehicles and toolboxes for us all the time. Never had any issues and no boxes have ever been damaged during transport. We even had one of our customers who informed me that the cab of their tow trucks are the cleanest cabs they've ever seen in a wrecker so that speaks volumes about the pride that Horton's takes in their towing operation. You can't go wrong using Horton's.

OMG... Ive never experienced such rude and aggressive behavior. Geico Roadside Assistance assigned this business to provide service for me but when I called to check where their driver is because we had been waiting for a while, I was cussed off and hung up on. I was left speechless, I immediately called geico to let them know about the situation and get a new service provider. After having geico cancel the request with them, I was harassed via text message by this place for having it cancelled. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! I HOPE YOU GUYS GO OUT OF BUSINESS FOR CUSSSING AT YOUR CLIENTS.

I had my truck towed last night. And they were very helpful. The next day, the owner helped me through the process and payment to recover my truck. Very nice people

Geico dispatched this towing company, and honestly, it felt like a bad joke. I called to check the ETA, and the guy who claimed to be the owner (yep, the actual owner!) acted like I’d just ruined his whole week. He kept saying, “We’re busy. No one’s coming,” like it was some kind of company slogan. Then he hits me with, “I don’t have to listen to you,” and, as if that wasn’t enough, he goes, “If you want to cancel, go ahead… Geico still has to pay us.” Excuse me, what? An owner who’s rude, dismissive, and openly brags about getting paid for doing nothing? If this is how they treat customers, I’d hate to see how they handle cars. Avoid this place unless you’re in the mood for a lesson in how not to run a business. Absolute circus.

I just turned 20 and this was my first time getting any sortve towing done with my car I told the first person I was on the phone with that I hadn’t ever had to get my car towed and that I had a spare tire? tow truck comes and without a thought to check or ask me starts towing it? what was I supposed to do mid getting my car towed HEY GET MY SPARE TIRE. Yeah and my tow truck driver ‘Deshawn’ after creepily hanging around me after he had multiple opportunities to hand it to me waited until the tire and auto employee went away and waiting for me to get off the phone with my dad handed it to me and yelled hey can I maybe get your number after I politely said no he said what you got a boyfriend and I lied and said yeah and nervously walked away. Basically paid $130 dollars to get creepily hit on, oh but atleast my car got taken care of!!! Thanks Hortons Wrecker Service!!! :)

We can't thank this company enough—especially the incredibly kind tow truck driver who helped us after a serious car accident on I-66 West a few weeks ago. When no one else—including police or emergency responders—could help us get our injured dog to the animal hospital, he didn’t hesitate to step in. He drove us and our dog to safety without question, showing genuine care and selflessness in one of the scariest moments of our lives. Thank you so much.

Don’t ever use this company, scam artists at there finest, rude dispatcher who ended up cursing me out all because I called them to find out if they ended up picking up my car and all I got was a grown man who was upset with his life taking it out me, please stay away unless you want to be scammed

They tweeted my car one week ago, they said bring so many documents , I get that all but owner is Horton’s keep finding me problems trying to keep my Vehicle. Now no way to speak with them , read to get attorney . Please all customers don’t business with them .

GEICO roadside assistance dispatched Horton’s to me, provided me the phone number. I called them just to make sure the information had come through properly since GEICO’s app was a little glitchy. The guy who answered was very rushed and flustered, and basically here’s how the conversation went: Me: “ Geico just dispatched you to come pick me up, and I wanted to make sure that the details came through properly.” Him: “The dispatch just came through, we probably haven’t even seen it yet… {muttering and basically cursing under his breath}. Where are you?” Me: “Rest area on 66.” {sensing he was slammed}, “If you want to wait until you see those details and give me a call, I just wanted to make sure that the details all came through properly.” Him: “No, I don’t even want to tow you anymore.” {click - hangs up on me} The whole conversation was probably 30 seconds, no more than a minute. That’s my service experience with Horton’s Wrecker Service. Didn’t even get a tow, because apparently calling the number GEICO gave me for them to confirm accurate information (and potentially save us ALL time) was enough for them to deny me service and hang up on me.

Thank you for everything going so smoothly. Truck was picked up in a timely manner. Dispatcher was good to deal with. Troy the driver was excellent. Cost was well within reason. I'd like to thank my friend Tony for recommending Horton's. I'd definitely recommend them myself.

I would not recommend referring to Horton's. I received a nasty call from Horton himself that was incredibly unprofessional. He said that I "should have called him to let him know that I arranged with someone else." The problem is that he said yesterday that he wasn't sure that a truck would be available today, probably Thursday, hence limited availability. He was supposed to have called ME to first confirm that a truck was available to handle the tow today, not just show up to my car first then complain.

Who knew tow truck drivers can be super customer oriented?? Andrew from Hortons called me as soon as i called geico and filed a claim and told me he would be there in 30 minutes.. and he was not a minute late! I was in the middle of nowhere off 66 near front royal! My neighborhood is super tight (apartment complex) and it took some time and patience for him to get the car off the bed into a parking spot. Not once did he complain and was all smiles! Andrew is by far the best tow truck driver I've ever had and you can clearly see his intentions, this guy really just wants to help people and will take the time to make sure you and your car are safe!

My car broke down and GEICO issued this company to tow my vehicle. If I had a choice, I would avoid them at all costs. The person that towed me seemed like he did not want to be at work nor was he happy with his life. He was miserable and rude. I had to be selective if my words or he would get easily irritated. He has no manners nor did he care about good customer service. Aside from the attitude, it took them 2 hrs to tow my vehicle after I called and they notified me that they were only 30 mins away.

Honestly this place deserves a - 100, I called for a tow with my insurance provider, and I called to see ETA, not only did the employee who answered disconnect my call the first time and I had to call again. But on that 2nd call, the employee who answered told me he can't please everyone and got upset when I let him know his attitude towards me was hostile,and aggressive and that he shouldnt talk to people that way. In me doing so he canceled my tow out of dislike that I let him know his behavior was unacceptable. NEVER EVER WILL COME HERE!!!! I've NEVER been more DISAPPOINTED EVER, literally!

Was working in the area and locked myself out, my fault. Called and they were nice at the beginning told me it would take some time. And hour later called them again to make sure everything was good they told me I was next in line. An hour after that called to make sure everything was going ok and they were way rude. And told me I was still next in line. Had to cancel and get other service before they made me wait longer. Should’ve seen these reviews before I called them.

The driver was very curtious and friendly but over the top cared so much about our safety. It was such a fun experience. My husband use to work on the trucks with Todd Barton years ago in Manassas so it brought back awesome memories.

The friendly service I received but the COST IS A NEGATIVE FIVE STARS. It's trouble how some of these tow companies charge whatever they want. There should be a governing body over them to control fair pricing.

Horrible!!! So unprofessional, rude and had a nasty attitude. Actually said “I don’t care” and hung up the phone on me! Places like this should not be in business and I hope they go out of business for their poor and rude customer service! I’d advice others to never use this company and save yourself the headache. My car is still presently there and I’m dreading having to deal with their nasty attitude!! I will continue to spread the truth because they don’t deserve any business until they either change workers or improve customer service skills.

Courteous and effective service! Just after 6 pm, I hit a pothole near Gainesville, and sadly punctured the sidewall of my rear tire. Worse news, my Chevy Volt did not come equipped with a spare, so I was stranded just outside Luck Stone Quarry. Unfortunately, when I asked for help there, they locked the front gate and drove off--that's another issue, but not very neighborly or responsible. Geico roadside assistance contacted Horton's, and a courteous and efficient driver came out, drove masterfully around the barred up Luck Stone entrance driveway, and drove my crippled car onto his tow truck. He towed me home, and left my car in the driveway, and I was able to get the tire replaced locally. Bad luck was blunted by timely, quality service from Horton's Wrecker Service, and I hope they are proud of Logan. Good show!

I just had the best experience with this company this morning. Instead of being towed to the dealership for $150 and billed for $300 by the dealership, the tow truck driver from this company was able to diagnose my battery issue and get my car started! This $65 act of kindness saved me a huge hassle and another bill. Thank you so much for your help today! :)

-5 STARS. UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Geico Roadside Assistance connected me with this company when my husband was broke down in the middle of 29. The man who answered the phone was immediately rude. He asked my husband the make and model of the vehicle and when he was told it was a Ram Promaster he began arguing that it was a Dodge. This went on for a full minute then he eventually hung up on us. Still stuck in the road, we called back and again asked for service. He answered and said “ohhhh the RAM guy, I’m hanging up again”. No regard for others and no help whatsoever when you’re in need.

Insurance company arranged a tow for me, missed the tow driver/company’s phone call, so I called them back (17 minutes after the missed call). The man on phone was extremely rude when I tried to apologize and explain my father was in the hospital (where I was at the time—the doctor had come in to talk to us and I couldn’t answer the phone) and that was why I missed the call. Very rude and unprofessional, I apologized and he went off on me like a bomb! Very unprofessional! Very rude! Told insurance company to send anyone but that company. I would even push it the 15 miles to the mechanic rather than have to deal with that rude man ever again. Horrible experience, would not ever recommend!!!

I just called them to get a tow to my dealership for service, the driver called me when he was 15 minutes away, he was polite and patient. No hidden fees, they charged me their $75 fee plus $4 per mile driven! Would definitely call them again if I had an issue, Bryan was great

well after getting cussed out for trying to find out why my tow has a random labor charge I got hung up on. then they told me I should have told them my ball joint separated. how am I supposed to know that was the problem? in professional and terrible service. They told me because I didnt tell them it had a broken ball joint they had to use different methods to lift my car. who charges the customer for not knowing why their car is broken? the dispatcher I spoke with was Devin, my recommendation would be to look somewhere else. as you can see they have about as many 1 star reviews as they do 5 star reviews.

A friend of mine was in a jam and needed a tow. I called and set up the tow, all we had to do was go to the car put the keys under the mat, and a flatbed delivered it back to her house. They're honest as I double checked the mileage, as Google Maps had indicated it was 13 miles and al I was charged was 13 miles in addition to the hook up fee. I am a very happy customer, and my friend can get back and forth to work. The dispatcher was very professional and the driver was awesome as he had to back in a narrow driveway and he did it with no help at night.

I called for a tire change. The lady on the phone was friendly and said a truck would arrive within a half an hour. They did, however the driver was rude from the start. He changed the tire, collected his money and was on his way. Then I take the my car in to get a new tire put on and find out that he has failed to tighten two of the bolts on my tire and completely stripped the other 3. Due to his incompetence, I was charged an additional $76 to get my tires fixed. So basically, I paid someone to do a job completely incorrect and now have to pay MORE money due to his errors. I'm waiting for their reply to correct this issue. UPDATE: Instead of offering a way to correct the issue, they have decided to continuously argue with me that it may not have been their error even though they are the ONLY ones to have touched the wheels since purchasing it as a new vehicle and the error was verified by another mechanic.
