I stopped by today to get a tool that I needed (relay puller/clamp) to a remove and replace a bad relay in my vehicle. The initial worker I spoke with did not know which tool I was referring to (which was fine) so he brought over his manager. All I needed to know was if they had the tool or not and where to find it. Instead, I got a lecture about how headlights and basic electricity work and was told that what I was planning to do was pointless and not going to fix the problem and that something else had to be wrong with my vehicle. He also called me as honey pie which I did not appreciate. I felt I was only treated this way because I am a woman. I ended leaving empty handed (and honestly feeling quite disrespected) and getting the tool elsewhere then using it how I initially intended, WHICH FIXED THE PROBLEM. Thanks for nothing Manassas Autozone, learn how to respect your customers and listen to them.
It's been a while, unfortunately, since my visit to this location. To me a while to track down which location (I think it was) that had helped me.
Just wanted to say that at the time, your employee named Beau helped me get safely back on the road and on my way. I was having some kind of intermittent battery issue causing my car to fail to start.

I had such a great experience with Scott at AutoZone. When my check engine light came on, he came out to my car to run a diagnostic test and took the time to clearly explain what the results meant. What really stood out to me was that he went above and beyond — since my car is still under warranty, he recommended the most reliable dealerships in the area to have it properly serviced. He didn’t just do the minimum; he genuinely cared about making sure I was taken care of.
Scott was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient throughout the entire process. Customer service like this is rare, and I truly appreciate the extra effort he put in to help me. Thank you, Scott! I will definitely be supporting this Auto Zone in the future.
Took a 15 at work to call and ask about ordering a part. Someone answered the phone, sounding very irritated, and immediately put me on hold. No-one followed up during the 15 minutes.
Will be calling other AutoZones after my shift.
Went in today for a new battery and Scott did such an awesome job with helping me and my friend, he was so helpful and walked us through everything and also had us laughing the whole time, such an amazing guy had a great experience !

There is a Gem named Deseree/Geseree. Sorry for misspelling the name, as there was disturbance on the call. Unfortunately they didn’t had what I wanted but the way she handled the call and tried to go above and beyond to be helpful, she just won a loyal customer. Anything for my car that I need in future, this is the store I’d chose. Thank you for being so helpful. I’d suggest you stock up on the portable hand controls, it might come handy to a lot of people. This is a great location with very friendly staff. I went there to get a new battery but was amazed by the kind of customer service given me by Scott and Kate. God bless you Scott and Kate. it's a 10/10 from me

I went to AutoZone the other day to have my battery tested. I am a female and I am always a little hesitant taking my car in. (Taken advantage of). My experience with Angel was amazing. He was very professional and explained everything to me throughout the process. I ended up needing a new battery for my Jeep Gladiator. Angel didn't try to upsell or talk me into things I didn't need. I will definitely go again if needed.
called pretty late at night to ask a question about my vehicles battery. since all the other locations were closed and Angel was able to to help me on the phone with the question and provided me some knowledge on the battery replacement as well. good customer service on the phone and very knowledgeable
came in for my bf's parts he needed, and the employee elania (i might be spelling this wrong im so sorry!!) was super duper sweet to us both!! amazing conversation, super attentive, kind, patient, and helpful!! the service was so quick!! i would definitely recommend this place to others!! :) she made me and my boyfriend's day and we also found scott to be very helpful , friendly and quick to get our parts
The most unprofessional customer service I ever seen i called this store today Aug 22/2025
After staying on hold someone picked up and I told him that I'm calling for a commercial order from the beginning after he took the whole order he said that he's not able to process it and I need to call the commercial department.
I asked him to transfer me over and he said (I can’t transfer you, you have to call them )
And he started throwing the number
When i called the commercial department the first employee said that he can’t look up my business by name so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager were unprofessional as well. Highly NOT recommended.
Elena B is the best she gave me an amazing service and u came from washigtton dc and helped me get a transmission for my car, the best ever customer service ever, I highly recommended working with Elena a d the stuff at this store. Elena is very professional, kind and took the time to really help me. I felt valued as a ckient and took well care of me and my car parts needs.
I recently visited AutoZone with a big screw lodged in my tire, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. Michael was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. He not only helped me find the right tool but also took the time to plug my tire properly on his break time. His knowledge and friendly demeanor made the experience much easier.

We had an excellent experience at AutoZone thanks to Ivan and Kyle. Late at night—around 11:30pm—we were dealing with a warning notification on our vehicle indicating a possible engine or transmission issue. We were nervous about making the long drive back to Canada, unsure if it was safe.
Ivan was incredibly helpful in diagnosing the problem, and Kyle took the time—over half an hour—to thoroughly explain the potential causes and reassure us. His expertise and calm demeanor helped ease our concerns, and he confirmed that the issue wasn’t urgent and that we could safely complete our trip home.

As a Canadian visiting the U.S., this was my very first time at AutoZone — and the Manassas, VA location truly exceeded all expectations. We arrived with unexpected car trouble just before midnight, right around closing time, and yet Kyle and Ivan still took the time to help us without hesitation.
Despite the late hour, they were incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient. They quickly diagnosed the issue and guided us on the best next steps, never once making us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Their dedication and customer-first attitude really stood out, especially at a time when most would’ve just been eager to close up for the night.

Had such a great experience at AutoZone on Sudley Rd., Manassas, VA. Kyle helped me with buying a cabin filter for my Civic Honda. He even went further and asked me if I would like him to show me how to put it in. He was so thorough in his explanation. He even allowed me to try putting it in while instructing me. Thumbs up all the way! A+++ I will definitely highly recommend.

Ordered a part for my engine. Oil pump cover seal kit. Box came smashed and missing the spring. This was delivered to me like this. I called and spoke with Zeke and I asked him if they could send me another one as I cannot drive down to get a replacement and no other store near me has it. Said sorry there isn't anything I can do. Told me to drive 40 plus miles to his store to get a replacement. Had the audacity to say I was rude because I cannot get to his store. Your employees need to make sure that they are sending out the correct and brand new items as they are packing things up. Of course I'm upset. And for you to offer no solutions to me is even more upsetting. You could send a replacement to the nearest autozone to me but no. Overall worse experience ever. Your prices are cheaper than other places but your customer servixe experience leaves much to be desired.
Do not shop here, they will sell you old brakes. The picture it was sold to me. I'm not the first customer that was sold old brakes, there are at least three other people I know that have had this problem. Guess someone is stealing them.
Update: When I went to return them, they acted as if I was the one trying to scam them. Please avoid and also check your purchases before leaving the store.
Very helpful attitude, everybody there has always been available for questions they quickly help you find all the car parts you need. The parking lot has trash and needs cleaning a bit messy.
Open 24 hours a day, I have visited this location several times, and it can get busy, but I recommend shopping here.
