The Islamic Center in Virginia is a beautiful and welcoming place. The community is kind, respectful, and supportive, and the masjid is well-organized and peaceful. A great place for prayer, learning, and connection. May Allah continue to bless this center.
Great masjid. It mostly caters to the South Asian community (Paki, Bangladi, Kashmiri, Indian), though, everyone from everywhere is welcome. Khutbas are in Urdu and English.

Perfect place to pray they are very generous they put tea for whole Ramadan and food , in addition to to that they gave a place for kids to play amazing masjid go and visit

Went back with young toddlers after a while during Magrib and iftaar. Crowded, but a festive arrangement. I was impressed to see some great efforts to provide a closed door room for sisters with little kids to pray! In shaa Allah will be coming more frequently to participate/contribute within the community.

Beautiful mosque. Went for Jummah prayer at the 2nd floor that's for the sisters. Wasn't crowded, but clean.
Astonishingly beautiful place within a convenient location for in town and out of town travelers to preform their prayers. I was traveling from Connecticut to Virginia when I found this center near my hotel. I went for Fajir prayer and it was great.
A beautiful mosque in Shirley Gate. There is ample parking space. The place is two stored and has a place for the females to pray. It is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible.
I have been going to this Masjid for almost two months now. I love the environment, and Alhamdulillah the atmosphere. Unfortunately, kids who come there for their classes are so evil. They play inside Mussala while screaming, wrestling and slamming the doors. Also, the other day I heard a kid laughing and mocking the Imam during Jamaat. Few days ago, I saw a kid running over a gentleman who was sitting. The gentleman’s ear was hurt. I have not been able to pray in peace in the past few weeks, thinking that a kid is either crash into me or hit me with something while I am praying. I wonder if these kids have parents. My advise to the parents is if you don’t teach your kids Islamic manners now, they won’t listen to you when they turn 20.
I recently visited this beautiful Masjid for Isha and Tarawih prayer on the 28th of Ramadan. While I was impressed by the architecture and beauty of the mosque, I was disappointed by the unprofessionalism of the Imam. His English speaking and pronunciation were difficult to understand, and he mixed different languages during his sermon. Additionally, each Rokat was longer than 15 minutes, which was boring for some people, especially new Muslims and senior people. I witnessed their discomfort and silent complaints.
I believe that this beautiful Masjid deserves an academic and professional Imam who is updated on all aspects of Islam and can act as a Dawee/inviter to Islam. The Imam should have a clear voice that is easy to understand for all members of the community.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit to this Masjid but would like to see improvements in the future
Big masjid, easy to find plenty of parking (I visited on a Sunday afternoon in Ramadan). People were friendly.
Building looks like it needs a bit of up-keep-mostly painting on the outside.
Very big masjid, Alhamdulillah. Huge parking area as well. 3 jumma to help with attendance. Last one was in urdu, so didn't understand very many much, but it was ok.
The mosque is clean and well organised. They have plenty of room for parking. They provide iftar during this ramzan but you have to register 24 hours before. They maintain covid-19 Safety measures.

I wont say or describe what happened but I strongly suggest the President of this place (June 2020) to resign and do what he does best. he is certainly doesn’t fit to be a leader in islamic community. Shame on him
I had the pleasure to pray at this masjid a few times. The khateeb's are very effective, they are highly academically educated, well-taught in Islam, clean, a lot of parking available, well-run and organized.
They also do "zikr" during fajr prayer for about 40 minutes which is great.
I highly recommend it.
Great place to go and present yourself infront of Allah and ask for forgiveness and pray for you & family. Allah is great. Imam Wali is the best to teach khutba and give amazing dua after Jummah. Our family and myself is blessed to have such a beautiful mosque in our area.
You have to go a little bit earlier to be able to park during Friday prayers, but usually parking spots are always available. Very large, clean prayer space. Imams are great, and the staff are very friendly.
