All of the purple boxes are easy to locate and are never full in all the times I used them. It's nice to not have to take the glass all the way to FFX dump. Grateful for the convenience of it.
It’s simple, quick, and efficient. Pull in, dump your bottles, and go. Way less hassle than mixing it into single-stream curbside. The site is small, so it’s not about convenience extras — it’s purely for recycling glass.
It's... A purple box I shove glass bottles into. As people boxes that passively devour glass, I suppose this is about as enjoyable as anyone could reasonably expect.
It's never been full when I've used it, though the week after New Year's can be popular. It's never offended me or made disparaging remarks about my car or drink selection. I've never been attacked by bobcats or organized gangs of raccoons.
That said... Is this a romantic place? Nope. Would I call it cozy? No, not remotely. Would I order a vegan sandwich here? Certainly not. Probably not a tourist destination, but the parking is free.
Did that really earn it a 5-star rating? I'm torn. I don't know how you live. Maybe you love going to picturesque recycling bins. This one isn't for you. But I feel like most people just want to toss some glass into a hole and drive away. They'll love this purple box.

Located near the back of the Jim Scott Community Center. Convenient, as you're able to drop your glassware on both sides of the large container. Glad to have a glass recycling container nearby!
