Absolutely amazing service! These guys did my EVAP system for me and when the part was faulty they replaced it FREE OF CHARGE! they are amazing people and don't try to mess with you, they charge fair prices!

If you’ve been here , you know that the guys and gals at Rosslyn Automotive are special and that they will take care of you!!! I’ve been taking our cars here for more than 12 years… and they’ve always got the job done RIGHT, ON TIME, AND at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE! Above all… if you’re a loyal customer you know they go above and beyond for you. I was sick and needed help one time and they literally spent additional, unpaid time on my car to drive it for me !!! Now which other shop can say that?!!!

Gloria and Mike are great to work with at Rosslyn Automotive. I have an older Hona Accord and was looking to have an honest assessment done of whether to stick $ into it or not. Quick and friendly service. Came in a big work vehicle with roof racks and ladders and they did an emissions inspection when other garages were too small. In and out in 10-15 minutes!

We love Rosslyn Automotive! They work hard, do a good job, and have fair pricing. The staff is always pleasant too.

Had my car towed here and couldn’t have asked for better service. They were up front and honest about the issues and showed me what actually needed to be done. They saved me hundreds of dollars and have super reasonable diagnostic costs, less than half of what Midas wanted.

They’re great! I was recommended the place awhile ago and I been a happy customer ever since. They’re knowledgeable and very feel like I’m being scammed. Ex. I took an estimate of replacing a driver side mirror from a separate place and was told it was going to be almost $1000 ?, here not even half of that❣️. I’m a loyal customer 10000%?

After paying over $1,000.00 for replacing sway bar links, they told me to bring my car back the following week for an alignment - citing that they didn’t have time when they did the sway bar links. After I brought it back again the following week, they informed me that their machine couldn’t do an alignment on my car after all - instead they did over $800.00 of other work without calling to tell me first. When I picked up my car, they instructed me to go to the dealership for the alignment (which is the reason I brought it back to Rosslyn Automotive in the first place). I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and for them overcharging me on labor. When I went back to look at recommendation quotes, I realized that they overcharged me for spark plug labor and for the cost of transmission fluid. I will not be bringing my car back for any of their services. I do not recommend this business.

Love this place. Knowledgeable and thorough, with nary a mistake (or upsell) like other auto places. Fair prices. They don’t bat an eye if you source your own parts (as all mechanical used to do back in the day), and they do consistent, careful work. I love that they let me drop off one car, handle the work, and then allow to swap out the next car the following day so I can get all our yearly maintenance/inspections taken care of within 3 days. No undue visits or lots of driving back and forth (we don’t live close). Quality mechanics who know their business. Plus, Mike (who runs the front) is an absolute gem, worth his weight in gold, that keeps satisfied customers coming back, year after year.

My car was on the verge of breaking down while on my lunch break today. On my drive back to work, I made it here just in time. Unfortunately, they were full up and didn't have space for my car, but Mike came out to my car anyway and ran a scan. He was able to figure out right away what was wrong and gave me a quote in under 5 minutes. Although they were busy and full for the day, he parked my car right in front of their front door and would fix it right there. They did not have the part needed, but they ran out to get it and then fixed my car in the parking lot. I was happy with the price and the service and felt they went above and beyond. I was in and out and my day was only inconvenienced by about 20 minutes. I will gladly return and plan to schedule to bring my car back for other concerns that another repair shop down the street has not been able to fix for me and has been a big source of frustration. At Rosslyn Tire the process here seems to be stress free and I don't feel pressure to fix things or add on things that I did not come in for. I have nothing but good things to say about this place, Mike and the nice lady at the counter whose name I didn't get!

I came here first to get a second opinion on a quote from an 'authorized dealer' who tried to recommend that I change a part that was changed just months ago. Rosslyn fixed the issue I had for 1/10th the cost and explained transaparently the issue that caused it in the first place. I have been going to them for many years and will continue to do so. Honest and straightforward with zero slimyness. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

We've been using Rosslyn Automotive for several years based on a friend's recommendation, and they're a true discovery. They just performed a major repair that would have cost almost double at the dealership. They are very customer focused and responsive. I very highly recommend them.

A coworker recommended Rosslyn automotive. They were efficient, good and very straightforward about diagnosing my vehicle and called me with options that gave me flexibility in how to service my car and save money. I have to add to this post that Mike, their manager was great in helping me solve an emissions issue and saved me a lot of money in the process. I'm a big fan now

Have been taking our cars here for many years. No complaints. Usually much less expensive for parts and labor. I feel like I can trust them to honestly explain the situation. UPDATE Still great. Very friendly and helpful. Fair prices and I have never had them push for work that was unnecessary. Went there this morning, and service far exceeded expectations.

Don't come here and save the hassle. Manager Michael reacted rude when I ask questions for what part they use. If you care about what oil they use or what part they use for your car, don't bother to ask. I've been a customer at this shop for more than five years, but after my recent experience, I won't be returning. The quality of their work has noticeably declined as they've taken on more business, and it seems like the manager is struggling to manage the increased workload. The last incident stood out to me. When I asked about the specific parts, to another counter person, they were using for my car, the manager, Michael, responded rudely and didn't want to provide me with the information I requested. It's frustrating when you care about the maintenance of your vehicle and want to know the details. His reaction actually triggered for a reason for me to looking into further, and I saved $400 on a brand new brake pad system DIY. Furthermore, I've noticed that the shop prioritizes their own profits over customer satisfaction. For instance, they purposely delayed the safety re-inspection intake, causing me to miss the 14-day window and resulting in a higher fee of $20 instead of $1. Even when bringing this up, the answer is "it is the law". It's disappointing to witness these tactics aimed at maximizing their profits rather than prioritizing customer service. Considering these issues, I've decided to look for alternative options among family-owned or small businesses elsewhere. I hope they can learn from this feedback and make improvements to better serve their customers.

Honest and budget friendly. These guys will always explain what’s wrong with your car with great patience and reliability. They also don’t use any high pressure sales tactics and only fix what is completely necessary. This is why they’re always booked. Highly recommended.

Great place to take your Vehicle for a safety inspection, oil change or even if your rack and pinion needs to be changed like mine! Mike is awesome! Very helpful and respectful dude! The guys their are great! Great work flow!

Mike helped me out by phone, very patient and accomodating. Got to the shop around 8am and cars were already in line to get service, seeing so many cars can be daunting but the shop was handling the number of cars... mechanics were running around getting cars in the bays. Armand was handling the front desk, wrote up my ticket, asked what the issue was with the vehicle, and let me now it would be a couple of hours, left my car, walked over to the Mozaic and had a great breakfast. While munching on some food, I remembered that the car had a check engine light, called and asked Armand to please look it over, and let me know about the issue. Armand didn't skip a beat and said no problem... the shop had the vehicle for about five hours, the shop was super busy and still got the job done right. The price was very reasonable too. All around happy outcome and no more issues with the car. Regarding the light, the shop reset it and let me know I have until May 2023 to fix it, save $ and get a sensor fixed on the catalytic converter. Saved me $$$ for now. Love their honesty... will be taking more vehicles to them.

Finally I found a good mechanic shop that I can trust and not be afraid of being ripped off. The owner is very knowledgeable and recommended to me what is need to be done and what is not necessary and all with reasonable price. I moved to northern VA two years ago and been to several different shop, this is the one I want to share to more people, because I know finding a good shop is hard and sometimes is best to know a good shop from your friend’s mouth. This is it.

We are devoted Rosslyn customers. They do excellent service on our Honda and Toyota and have no desire to rip us off like seemingly every dealership in the area. They are proactive and highly communicative. It’s really convenient to schedule service. The only thing that’s a little awkward is there is fairly limited parking, but they organize it well so we’ve never had any issues.

Rosslyn Auto Body is a great family-owned shop that is friendly, treats you fairly, has reasonable prices, and finishes work quickly. I see why they're rated well. The guys working at the front of the shop are super friendly, cool, and honest. I had my brake pads, rotors, and tires changed, and both my emissions test and safety inspection done. Tire and brake changes were finished in a few hours time each (note: I went in on a snow day, lines/scheduling might be longer at other times given how popular they are). I failed the inspection the first time due to brake pads, but they offered me a range of options for replacing them instead of just suggesting the most costly option like some mechanics do. Definitely will be back and can recommend them.

First off, while I waited in line to see how long the wait was for an inspection, I overheard the lady in front of me talking about how great the service always is there. I was already starting to feel like I chose the right place. The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful (this was my 1st VA inspection). Then to the inspection line. Roland, the inspector, came out and pulled my truck in. The process didn’t take long and he even took the extra couple mins to adjust my tire pressure because I mentioned they looked low. Their customer service was outstanding.

Singlehandedly the best car servicing spot in Fairfax!!! The staff here are super friendly, knowledgeable and honest! As a female, I’ve been to several car dealerships who were dishonest and their staff seemed to be lurking in the shadows ready to tack on extra services I didn’t need. Not at Rosslyn Automotive! They go over and above! High quality work. Honest staff. Speedy services. Reasonable prices. Need I say anymore? I highly recommend their services! I’d give them 20 stars if I could!

I have had such great experiences here. They have worked on both of my cars and were able to fix the problems quickly. Mike at the front desk was extremely helpful the few times I've been there or called with questions. It's a busy place but they made me feel like a priority. I will definitely use them again (if I need them).

UPDATE: I've been coming here for all my car issues (and there have been many) for a few years now, and I have never been so happy with a mechanic. From the front office to the ownership to the mechanics themselves, this place is simply the best. Original review: Every time I have an issue with my car or truck, I call around to a bunch of mechanics in the area, and Rosslyn Auto is the cheapest 90% of the time. Their front-office guys are friendly and knowledgeable, and I've always been satisfied with the work they do.

I have a moving company and I always bring my trucks to this shop. Guys are always friendly and always smiling. Good communication and customer service.Estimates are fair. Repairs are done within a few hours - depending on how busy are they. I brought several of my trucks for as simple as regular oil change, brake line repairs to engine swap. Very reasonable rates. I already recommended this place to my friends.
