I stopped by this NAPA location for some parts and had a very disappointing experience. The staff member I dealt with was rude, unhelpful, and seemed to have little product knowledge. His attitude came across as dismissive, and I couldn’t help but feel it might have been related to my skin color. The whole interaction felt negative and unprofessional, and it left me very uncomfortable. I will not be returning to this location and cannot recommend it to others
The man that helped me find the part i needed for my car was very nice! He also explained what that piece did which was very beneficial for me who has pretty much no car knowledge.
Mid-trip, I had an issue with my gear shift cable (bolt came out), and I walked to this store because I couldn't drive. Brought one of the bolts with me. An older gentleman working behind the counter took care of me. He was very kind, knowledgable, and "old-school," which to me is a huge plus. He got me what I needed to get back to my car, fix it, and drive it, and I'm very grateful for his kind service to me. I'd recommend this store in a heartbeat.
At this location, there's a complete lack of customer service. When I asked Kenneth questions, he simply ignored me. Fortunately, I knew what I needed, but he was almost about to provide the wrong product for my vehicle. When I mentioned the lack of acknowledgment and attention, he just laughed. Meanwhile, another employee is loudly playing music throughout the store. It seems he's also quite passionate about politics, particularly concerning Agent Orange.
Best auto parts store there is. The man that sits in the first seat at the counter, closest to the front door was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend him.
Quick friendly service at reasonable prices. Staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. I purchased a new battery for my riding mower there. Much more powerful than my anemic, previous one. Interstate battery.
I just came back from here buying some hose fittings. Even though it's a cheap few dollar parts, the gentleman who sits first as you walk in always do his best to help you out. It's not just this gentleman, other staff there will go beyond to find you parts as well. I've been going here for years and can't say enough good things about these fellas. Thanks guys!
It was dark and getting colder quickly. I needed a 100 AMP fuse for my quickly so I could get home two hours away. The two gentlemen working were upbeat knowledgeable and happy to help us out. They also had had the odd sized wiper for my girlfriend's Prius as well. The price was quite a bit lower than I expected as well.
Unclear how this company is still in business. Cardboard boxes everywhere. Shelves not stocked; what few items ARE on the shelves are not price-marked. Aisles blocked by parts. Dirty walls and windows, haven't been cleaned in months. Two employees, both clicking away on the internet and ignoring customers. This looks like someone's hobby garage, not a professional auto-parts store. Avoid.
Very helpful with my request. I really needed some lugnuts for my brother's car. They had them in stock and helped me very quickly. 10/10 would shop again
These gentleman know their cars, know their parts, and usually remember yours when you come back. They'll even sit there and hash out the problem you're having with your car, not to sell parts, to get you back on the road. This is an older local Fairfax business; I'm glad they're still around.
As a female, never am sure what to expect in terms of respect for knowledge of my car walking into a place like this. Initially, the clerks didn't seem to be too helpful but after I went out to look for my fuse box and came back in, one of the clerks responded much better - went out to my car in the cold, pouring rain, to help me verify a blown fuse. The other clerk didn't do a whole lot other than sit at his computer but did talk me through how Rain-X works (in this case, my windshield wipers were not turning on). The first clerk even recommended a mechanic to try (if only I lived closer to this shop and it was more convenient to go to the mechanic).
