Outstanding service from start to finish! I ordered firewood for my elderly parents, and Remington Mulch (Fairfax) truly went above and beyond. Communication was clear, prompt, and on point throughout the entire process. They navigated a steep driveway without issue and, as requested, thoughtfully placed the rack of wood in the perfect location next to the house for easy access and storage. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Highly recommend supporting this local business — they really care about their customers!

The online purchase of firewood from Remington Mulch and Firewood was effortless. Their website is very user friendly and payment is secure. Those can be big hurdles especially when purchasing things online or from companies found through Facebook. We have no complaints and really appreciated the quality of the firewood and delivery service! Pedro and Francisco were right on time, prompt and very efficient! They were great men doing manly work! They stacked the wood far better than we expected. We expected them to come back and solicit a tip when they were done and they didn't, very classy! We will be ordering from this company again and highly recommend them to everyone! 5 stars! Nice work!!

Absolutely the best firewood supply operation I've dealt with, and I've dealt with many. Cleanest product (least amount of sawdust and chaff left on driveway after stacking). Appropriately kiln dried, never difficult to light, always burns clean. Proper measured volume consistently delivered. Solid value for the money.

The two person team that Remington Mulch sent to our home did a very impressive job. Absolute kick ass! They stacked the wood up very nice exactly where we wanted it and cleaned up everything before they left. Very professional! This was our first time using Remington Mulch and they will be our “go to” for firewood from now on! First impressions are everything and they made a great one on us. The picture is the 1/4 cord of wood we ordered.

The service from Remington was excellent! I ordered late in the week in advance of a big snowstorm and they had my cord of firewood neatly delivered and stacked by Saturday morning at 7am, starting deliveries unusually early to make sure their customers were ready for the storm. For those of you firebugs out there, it was the best stack I’ve ever seen — tight and clean! I ordered the oak and triple-split oak and it’s all amazing. I lit my first stove the usual way and was so surprised I decided to light my second stove with just one napkin as kindling. That’s all it took! Couldn’t recommend these guys more strongly. I’ll be a customer for life!

Fantastic service! First off, I am not one to give out compliments. I am also not the guy to leave a bad review, I just won’t use a business again if I receive poor service. My usual firewood vendor was unavailable so I gave Remington a shot. We have a terrible storm coming and Remington found time to restock my wood pile. Attentive service during the ordering process, fantastic customer service arranging the delivery and amazing outcomes from the crew who brought the wood to my home. No complaints. And though I really did like my former company, I will be working with Remington going forward. In fact, I’ve already looked at their website to see what additional services they offer, again, not one to write such a glowing review but when I get service like this, I just recognize it. We can’t all go ahead complaining all the time! Great job guys, I really that!

O was able to get wood within 2 days o my order. I appreciated a timeline of delivery the night before and the text when they were on their way. Delivery was great!The wood is nice and dry. Highly recommend!

Great experience! I ordered the 1/12th cord firewood rack online for the next Saturday delivery. The team called me on Friday morning to confirm my delivery location and texted me that afternoon with a 3 hour delivery window. They texted me a link to track the truck when the driver was on the way to my house on Saturday. I didn’t need the wooden rack so I asked the driver to dump my wood at the curb next to my driveway. The 1/12th cord fit perfectly in my 3’ x 3’ wood rack. Thanks Remington!

Great prompt service and high quality wood! I loved being notified when they were on their way to deliver! They also were able to squeeze my delivery to an earlier date with ease and no issues! They sent a picture of the stack to let us know they were by. And they did beautiful job of stacking the wood. Since our delivery we have had multiple fires and has been enjoying staying warm during these cold days and nights. I can’t wait to reorder with Remington Mulch again! Thank you!

Got our half cord delivery over the weekend and very happy. Buying process is easy, we paid online and they called to confirm the details. Actually were able to deliver the wood within 48 hours and gave us more wood than our stack could handle! Will definitely use them again when we need to repurchase.

I have been picking up firewood wholesale from Remington for years now, everyone in their office (in person and over the phone) is very pleasurable to speak and work with. I also looked forward to interacting with their loaders a lot when I’d go to pick up, everyone there is kind and has a welcoming energy (I wish I could remember names but everyone’s very good at what they do and the operation is impressive). Their products are the best I’ve found in the area and their firewood always leaves people commenting on the heat, flame, and sound of our fireplace while it’s burning. Today I got my first cord delivered to myself through their delivery service and it came on time and with plenty of wood for a decently reasonable delivery fee. I was able to place my order over the phone with Stephanie and she was more than happy and able to answer any of my questions and helped me schedule the order. Can’t recommend Remington enough.

Superior Customer Service! I was impressed with the great delivery schedule, easy confirmation of delivery date with the ease of using text when I didn’t have time for a phone call, great delivery en route notification - I wasn’t rushed or didn’t have to wait long when I was notified, and great delivery - the driver was friendly and timely with the mulch delivery. I WILL use Remington for all my future mulch or any bulk delivery needs.

I love building a good fire both indoors and in our fire pit outside. The klin dried firewood from Remington is the best. It makes it easy to start the fire and it burns hot. This year I took advantage of their wood stacking service (1/2 cord). Best money I spent in a while.

I have been working with Remington Mulch for our firewood needs for a couple of years prior to this review. They have been nothing less than fantastic! We have burned the mix kiln dried wood and more recently hickory specific deliveries. The product is fantastic and I am convinced the reason our chimney was nearly spotless when cleaning for this season! They do offer a stacking service which I have not taken advantage of yet - I insist stacking personally is my gym workout for the day ? I have no doubt that service would be just as amazing! The office team is supportive, communicative (phone calls scheduling, emails, and text messages for delivery status AND TRACKING! The biggest help when needing to plan your day ?), efficient - quick delivery (within 12hrs of order!), and most importantly - kind. I will continue using this company as long as I can and highly recommend everyone give them a try!

Great company to work with! My husband purchased wood for the past couple of years from them. Each year they drop off everything in time, great communication, polite staff and drivers. This year we ordered a larger quantity of wood. They dropped off a thoughtful thank you bag. My husband and I talked about the wonderful customer service they have and were Pleasantly surprised. They might be under new management? Definitely doing things the right way, because it was a wonderful touch. We received, a thank you card and a nice large match box. Very appreciative of the lovely touch! We’ll definitely keep ordering from Remington. Highly recommend them to everyone

Ordered a half cord of firewood on Tuesday, it was delivered Wednesday morning. A VERY generous "half cord" IMO! The wood was ALL uniformly cut, no extra long pieces. A LOT of very nicely squared off pieces, and way less dirt/bark than many orders I've gotten. Just a really quality order, honestly.

Great service! I have been getting firewood for three or four years now from Remington. The delivery and stacking service was very smooth and they did a great job. They arrived right on time, the condition of the wood was excellent, they sorted the smaller pieces for kindling on another rack nearby. Great company and reasonable price!

Great service by Remington Mulch! Tried to buy on website (said bagged mulch had no delivery fee) but when I went to checkout, it added a delivery fee. Messaged the company and got an immediate response asking me to call to place the order as there should not be a delivery fee. Called and placed the order, very nice person took my info, was able to deliver on date of my choice (within a few days!) and a 4 hour delivery window. Got a message the day before confirming my order, got a message when driver picked up mulch and was headed my way, including a link to track driver. They were so quick and quiet I didn't even hear them arrive and unload the mulch! Mulch was neatly stacked where I requested - on the side of the driveway. Got another text confirming delivery was made. Great service! Will definitely order from them again!

This is my first time ordering from Remington Mulch Company and the whole process was seamless and I like how they provided a link to track the delivery and communicated via text/Email. I ordered from others that did not meet my expectations. I ordered 5 cubic yards of the bloom woody blend soil (smells like manure) and I was able to cover 11k Sq ft by siffing with the back of the rake. The soil was premier stuff which I used to reseed my lawn after damage from the summer heat. I like the fact that I only had to deal with a product that smelled like fecal matter for a week and not unwanted debris. I will definitely conduct future business with Remington Mulch Company.

So happy with my purchase and the outstanding service from Remington Mulch Company! From the time I called and placed my order with Ana, to the time I spent interacting with Ilich the delivery person who brought the firewood to my house. Ana was very professional and took the time to answer all my questions without ever making me feel rushed. And then Ilich was friendly and interactive and never rushed the job making the stacks of firewood look like a piece of Art! I actually thought about doing the work myself, but boy what a mistake I would have made to not have purchased and hired Remington Mulch Company to deliver and stack my firewood. I haven’t used this set of firewood to comment of the quality of this batch, but I’ve ordered from them once before and the wood burned perfectly with such a pleasant aroma that I can’t wait to start burning this batch I purchased today!
