Today I was scammed. I filed an insurance claim with my phone carrier through Assurant who made me pay a deductible only to be told at the store that I had to pay $107 for a screen repair because “Find my” was on. I paid.. called Assurant to confirm that my claim was canceled only to find out that my insurance would STILL cover regardless if it was on or off! I am calling corporate
I went in because the screen on the iPhone 15 was cracked. A fast talking young clerk at the Florence SC store consulted with his “technician” and returned with a quote of $139 for the generic screen of $599 for the Apple version. The cheaper was not in stock, come back Friday. We did still out of stock. So we found a local phone repair store. And guess what? The screen was fine! The screen saver was cracked. Cost$ $20 with lifetime replacement if cracks! Unbelievable incompetence on Battery Plus personnel!
I came in for a new key fob battery since my key no longer worked for my car. After the battery replacement, it still did not work. However, one of the workers there, Wilson, investigated the issue and found that my car battery was bad. After having my car battery replaced, I have not had any issues since.
Wilson showed true professionalism, knowledge/expertise and genuine care for his customers. I will be coming back again!
Stopped in for help with my key fob. They not only got me a replacement fob but were also able to get my original back functioning properly and a lot cheaper than the price I was quoted at the dealer!
Worst experience I’ve ever had at an business. In just one month they so called repaired my phone but every other day the screen would go out so I just lost $400. They are so unprofessional & make every excuse in the book and also told me I had to keep dropping my phone when I never did & I had to pay another 159 today if I wanted it fixed again. Never come to this business because they just don’t care. 0/10. I wish I could give a 0 star.
Don’t buy anything from this store, In August of 2023 I ordered a battery on line and went to pick it up and it was no stock and the sales guy gave me a high price one for same price, but never changed the receipt. I put the battery in 3 months later and it was dead and and will not take a charge. So the recipient was never changed to show the correct battery and they will not honor the warranty or exchange. Would not let me talk to the sales man that sold me the battery.
DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THiS STORE. Will not stand behind what they sell. Plus a smart ass kid manger that try’s to talk over you. Just like other reviews they will not honor warranty.
Probably the only decent person here that’s willing to help is Wilson. We went there to get a few things and when we pulled up, Ryan was outside smoking a joint on the side of the building and went to walk us inside and just kept repeating himself saying “i don’t know” over and over again. We went over to Wilson who actually helped us in less than two minutes. When Wilson was helping us Ryan went to help a customer behind us and kept telling them that he doesn’t know. Wilson gets five stars!
DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR PHONE SCREEN FIXED three days ago I got my phone fixed from here today I wasn’t able to do anything on my screen. The screen was just on took it to another place to get it fixed. They said that there were screws missing in my phone first time getting my phone fixed ever and now I have screws missing do not go here. I was charged $323 and they didn’t even offer a free screen protector like the place that’s fixing My phone is right now. Just trying to say the next person money
Are you kidding me? Guy working there today was just not very helpful with much Worthless customer service and he acted bothered that we interrupted his smoke break. Yea, the kid was sitting in his car smoking when we drove up.
I am not one to leave bad reviews often, but stopping here today was a total waste of time. PLEASE help this young man gain some basic knowledge about batteries. He needs to also learn some basic customer service skills. Totally unmotivated and unwilling to do much other than say "I don't know" to pretty much anything you ask him. PLEASE help this poor kid.

Incompetent, can't do anything without a manager who isn't there. Called earlier in the day and specifically told them I'd be there after five. Drove all the way there after work and the manager was gone so they couldn't do anything. Employee acted like he didn't know anything. All I want to do is warranty this $400 battery that is leaking acid all over the side of my wheel well.
The shop in Florence,SC was very helpful today in getting my automatic opener refurbished. Noah and Paul were professional but also personal, good associates to keep
Brought a battery in November 23, 4 months later and it's dead, they won't exchange and the warranty that I purchased is not good through the store. It's only good for the manufacturer, $145 later and I'm stuck with a dead battery. Please go to Sam's club and purchase a battery or somewhere else.. Do Not purchase from here
Visited location today and have to say customer service was excellent from the time I arrived till leaving..the reason for visiting the location was not solved but I left w/no complaints due to great customer service by the staff. Huge kudos to the customer service representative Paul …keep up the great job..customer service is a lost art lately and it’s refreshing to see that!!
My family has used this location several times, and they have been beyond helpful. I was visiting and needed help with my elderly mother's phone. In less than 5 minutes, they had the phone working and did not charge us. Hayden was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. My family and I will definitely use this store for further needs.
Went to pick my new key fob up and the Regional manager helped me. He was very knowledgeable of programming the new key and was very helpful and friendly. He also was fast but productive getting me taking care of and checked out.
I made an appointment on line and got $10.00 off. The young lady who waited on me was very nice and helpful. When I went back to pick phone up, she told me whoever had put battery in last time (a friend) had not tightened the screws tight enough nor did they put the adhesive back right. This caused my battery to run down eventually to the point I had to keep it plugged in all the time to keep a charge. They fixed all of that and phone is doing great now.
I am grateful for the fast and efficient job that they did for me. They replaced my battery in my phone and gave me information on what I needed to do to fix our lamp post outside. They also gve me energy serving tips for our outdoor lighting and suggested better items to try.
Bought an 8d class $185 buck battery o line. Bought in the core, got my battery loaded. I also took in 2 key fobs and 2 blank keys to be cut and programmed. The fobs turned out okay. The key didn't work. You hav to sign a paper that you agree they dont stand behind the work if it fails. Okay, I lost the keys but fobs were okay. I get this huge battery home and installed..I check voltage, it's sorta low for a new one..only right at 11.5. So I check fluid level..it's only 1/2 full. I call. They say jus add water. WAIT I PAID FOR A NEW BATTERY FILLED WITH BATTERY ACID... So I already installed it, I go buy 2 packs of battery acid from advanced auto. That solved the problem. CHECK YOUR FLUID LEVEL ON ANY BATTERY YOU BUY BEFORE YOU LEAVE...DONT LET SOMEONE CUT KEYS IF THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THE JOB.. This is just my experience, not saying yours will b the same. Instead of saving money, this battery cost me an extra 40.
We went to batteries plus today and was very pleased with the customer service, the price and technical support. They were beyond great with the customer service and called us when it was ready on time. I went and got my iPhone 8+ screen fixed and after words they also put a class screen protector on. I most DEFINITELY recommend going here
This place is a bit overpriced. The staff is helpful but more like they are programmed than human, kind of like a telemarketer. You can get a battery checked here for free and they will tell you if it is good or not or if it can be reconditioned if needed. Some staff is more knowledgable than others. The prices need to come down to a normal level before I can give a better star rating.
Great customer service and very fast service on iPhone screen replacement BUT did not advise that replacement screen color would be different than OEM screen. Left store before noticing colors “washed out”. Screen was set dim at store. Maybe all aftermarket screens are like that but should have been communicated. Instead left feeling duped.
After attempting to replace a shattered screen on my iPhone 7 plus, which left me with a broken home button and a disconnected camera, I made an appointment online at the Pamplico Hwy. location. Jayme was very knowledgeable and was able to finish the repair on my phone in about 15 minutes. I was very pleased with the service and will return in the future. Thanks again, Jayme!
Needed a flashlight repaired and afterward saw a display of LED bulbs. Jamye who repaired the light showed me how much cooler the bulbs were. I have had a problem with the heat from the old chandelier bulbs causing the wiring to fail. She turned one on and showed me how cool it was. i immediately bought 6 of the bulbs. She was helpful and quite well informed. An outstanding employee! You're lucky to have her!
I'm a klutz. I've broken my iPhone screen twice now in a two month period (one with the case on!). Each time the fine folks at Batteries+Bulbs have replaced my screen in under an hour and they've done a fantastic job! Thank goodness they are here!! If you make an appointment, they even give you a bit of discount. Highly recommend this business!
I needed 2 special batteries for a mobility scooter. Looked on line and ordered them. An hour or so later I got an email that they were ready for pickup at a local store! Went to the store and they were already to go. Really easy and the batteries fit perfectly!
