Markese and Tony were very helpful and professional in our buying process! This was our 3rd purchase from Five Star Nissan of Florence. NOW for the BAD NEWS! We took our 2024 Rogue SV to three different upstanding oil change garages yesterday only to be TURNED AWAY because of the PLASTIC OIL PANS and Single Use Plugs that Nissan put in the 2024 Rogues and some of their other vehicles. I was concerned and called 5 star Nissan since I THOUGHT we had a good relationship with them. The lady in service told me this was the first time she had heard of this even though I had searched the Internet and there were hundreds of complaints about this factory change! I asked if we could possibly have a complimentary oil change since we live an hour away and we're concerned about damage to our vehicle. We thought this would give us the chance to explore this obvious concern. She replied that we didn't pay for any oil changes when we purchased ( although we did buy a lifetime warranty) so we would need to come there for the oil change and pay for it ourselves! She also asked why I had not taken care of my recall which I told her I was unaware of a recall.I scheduled an appt , hung up, and called Grand Strand Nissan. The service advisor immediately explained the oil pan problem, addressed our concerns, and told us they would be happy to do our service! I called 5 star to cancel and asked that the General Manager call and speak to me. Of course, NO CALL!! SADLY, a dealer we trusted has lost our business and everyone we know!! I had previously left a 5 star review but that has changed. GRAND STRAND NISSAN has a new customer!!!

Michelle had my vehicle along with paperwork and everything ready waiting on me when I got off work. She called every insurance company for me and didn't stop until she got me a deal on car insurance. The GM also worked hard on making sure I was covered with the bank and had everything protected before I left the lot. Overall experience was super easy and would recommend them to anyone.

I give 5star Nissan of Florence 5 stars only because there isn’t a choice to leave 10 stars. I cannot recommend this dealership enough. I drove from 2 and a half hours from NC to buy from them because from the first contact they were honest and upfront. I stated my needs and wants, and they exceeded my expectations at EVERY turn. All of the people need commending… literally every person I had contacted with were very nice, cordial, polite and made me feel at home. From the reception desk to the finance department, i can only rave about the service. No pressure, only personal service. De’angelo is a fantastic salesman and understands what people want, works hard to meet your needs, and is an all around great person(yes, I said it, a car salesman that is actually genuine and honest) the entire team are all great in their own right. One person made me want to deal with them though, I originally was contacted by their manager of online sales, this young ladies name is Ashley, Ashley was tireless, dedicated and one of the sweeter young ladies I have had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with. She went above and beyond answering phone calls after she had left work(I thought they closed at 7pm, and Ashley was still working, but she was off and still answered my calls) she was extremely prompt in returning my calls and answering my questions. I’m not sure what they pay this young lady, but its not enough. I am extremely satisfied with my vehicle but I am more satisfied with the people at 5 star Nissan. I will be returning, even though I live so far away. Thank you 5star Nissan in a world of other dealerships delivering on nothing… you were a light in their darkness.

My salesman, D’Angelo, was extremely helpful in finding the perfect car for me. Paul Davis and Kim Brown in finance were very knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain everything, answering all of my questions and concerns about payments. The entire process was very easy and stress-free. Highly recommend this dealership.

I brought a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder around the end of January 2025. I noticed my brakes were squealing 9 months later. I called and they told me to come in for a brake inspection. After the inspection, I was told there were no problems with my brakes and a new set were put on a week before I purchased the vehicle. A month or 2 later, my brakes were still squealing so I took it to someone else and he told me my brakes were at the bare minimum.

I would have like to leave a ZERO STARS rating! I am so upset about my car. I did not want to take it here because I'm just suspicious about these places taking advantage of women. This situation confirmed my suspicions. I was under warranty for my door lock actuators and side crash sensors. I requested my brake pads to be changed, an oil change, my gas tank door lock to be repaired, a car wash and they offered a full tank of gas upon completing my online review. There was never an initial inspection done. I was never contacted about a diagnostic review. I was called a couple hours later to pick up my car. Upon driving in and looking at my car, I could see it wasn't washed. My fears began to heighten because that simple request wasn't completed. The desk attendant told me my gas door parts were on order, and she would let me know when they came in. I went to my car to then leave and couldn't open the driver door at all! I went back to the repair center counter to let them know and I waited about 10 minutes, and no one came to the desk. I reached from the back seat and opened the front door and left. I then saw that my oil notification had been reset but no reminder sticker was inside the windshield. That made me feel like my oil had not been changed. (I brought them an oil filter and oil for the oil change.) I also noticed my brakes were still squealing. I was too annoyed, tired, and hungry to go back. Plus, it was during my lunch break, so I had no time left to spare. I texted the attendant to explain what happened, she stated she would check with the mechanic, but I never heard anything. Days passed and I wanted my car repaired. I took it back and the repair center manager told me to leave it for her to inspect. I did. Came back and she stated I purchased the least expensive brake pads and that is what's causing the squealing. Also, she said my rotors are worn. She offered to repair them. In a couple hours I returned to pick up my car. I leave the lot and immediately notice my front-end bouncing/wobbly! I was too upset to call about it. I wanted to calm down before I tried to report this to them. I waited a few more days for the gas door parts to come in. Another couple weeks pass and I go back to the repair center. This time I call the warranty office to report what's happening prior to arriving. I find out that they have been paid for their work and my car is worse than before I took it to them. Previously, I pleaded with the sales manager to not let anything happen to my car because I needed to to get to work to continue taking care of my household. She ensured me she would take care of it. I even let her take my keys to see the doors were not locking/unlocking properly, the gas door was not fixed nor the crash signals and they said my brakes were like they were because of the parts I brought to them. The desk attendant stated, "They gave me what I asked for." This is ABSOLUTELY NOT what I expected. They were paid $1400 from the warranty company plus I had to pay $200 for something (I cant remember what at the moment) and nothing is fixed. Its worse than before I took it to them.

Charlie was fantastic with helping me get the new Frontier Pro-4x. I've had the vehicle for 2 weeks and it's the perfect truck for me. Was able to test drive, staff was patient, and even offered better financing than my credit union. Couldn't have had a better experience.

I was highly satisfied with the purchase of my used Pathfinder. I got a great deal and was able to negotiate a final price before arriving which was great because I live an hour and a half away. However, the parking brake was not working, so they asked me to bring it all the way back to have it fixed. After waiting from 10:30 to 1:00, they came out to tell me that Nissans don't have very strong parking brakes because they don't have hills in Japan. ( An island that was created by volcanos and is in the ring of fire, but no hills. Hahaha) Needless to say they didn't fix it or even know how to fix it. A whole day wasted. When I arrived home, a simple Google search revealed that by tightening the bolt under the dash to remove the play in the cable, the brake would get firmer. In 5 mins with a 10 mm socket, I fixed the issue myself. Not a good sign when the dealership can't figure out how to fix it a simple parking break.

My experience this visit compared to visits a couple of years ago, was drastically improved. The service advisor kept in touch with me both through phone calls and text messages, which was very convenient. He was also very friendly and personable.

Horrible sales reps and Florence manager. Really bad when it comes to customer service. Lack of communication and very dishonest. I purchased 3 new cars and two of them don’t have floor mats 4 months later. Put in multiple orders, they still have not reached out to me about them or answered my many voicemails. Do not do business with the Florence location. Very sad team there with lack of simple skills

Please be aware of the service department at this dealership. Looking at the most recent reviews I can see that our experience was not an isolated event. We brought our Rouge to Five Star Nissan because it would not fully start. Although they were able to ultimately get the vehicle to start again (after replacing several parts totaling almost $3,000) there were several issues along the way and when we went to pick up the vehicle. 1. We brought in two functional key fobs, but when we picked up the vehicle only one worked. 2. We were charged for a $129.95 multi point safety inspection that we did not authorize. 3. The dealership broke the shift lock cover while it was in their possession. 4. The dealership did not return our old ECM despite me asking them to do so before the work began and afterwards. 5. The vehicle was returned to us with a screw missing, a dirty engine bay, and a very dirty driver side door and seat. When we picked up the vehicle we brought these items to the service advisor's attention. He did not offer a solution at the time, but said he would call us back the next business day. It has now been over three weeks and we have yet to hear from them despite leaving multiple messages. There are clearly issues at this dealership that start at the top of the organization and end with the service advisors who have no compassion for their customers and do not care to resolve issues. This dealership refuses to take responsibility for their actions. I would highly recommend that you avoid this dealership. As an edit I reached out to the general manager twice using the email provided and also called them and left a message. The general manager nor service manager has yet to respond.

D’Angelo Lee was awesome!! I recommend him to anyone! I put 4 stars (round up to 4.5) because of a finance worker that test drove my trade in. He threw my keys on the desk like they were nothing and it felt very disrespectful. Everyone else was awesome!! I recommend buying from here!

No pressure. I was able to checkout a few models and take my time. Respectfully, most of us dread the sales person walking out onto a lot. We actually had a pleasant experience. Will, the salesman, walked my husband and I around the lot. My husband clearly stated “we are not buying today, we’re just looking.” NP Will treated us as a valuable customer. Knowledgeable, Will listened, gave us the opportunity to check out several models. Test driving the new Rogue sealed the deal. The Finance Manager, Harold, thoroughly explained our options, extended warranty, etc. Plus wanted to make sure our payment was within our budget with a good interest-rate. Simple put, Harold enjoys his job, refreshing ;-) Yes, it’s been a long time since we bought a new car. This was an amazing experience, zero stress. I highly recommend Will if you’re in the market for a vehicle or “just looking.” Thank you.

My car purchase was the best experience I could've hope for nowadays. I had no transportation of my own so I made my selection from the website. Our salesman, Markese, found me a better deal after I told him what I didn't want via text. The 2nd selection was the best choice financially and personally. I bragged Carvana had them beat by delivering a car. We had no transportation of our own. Markese printed all paperwork prior to our arrival to sign documents. The financial transaction process was seamless. A cashier check as payment in full and he delivered the vehicle to my front door after work on a Saturday. They went above & beyond making us clients for life. They are 10 stars!

Took awhile like HOURS but they really worked with me. Got me into a brand new car. Was my first time ever financing anything. Really appreciate everything. Thank u guys! **UPDATE!!** 2021 They got me my first new car. 2022 Danny Myers and Henry were awesome and friendly to get my trade in and another new Nissan. HOWEVER The issue comes in later when if ind out 2 things. 1) Danny Myers LIED and put WAY higher income on my documents than I actually make and he DID NOT explain anything about negative equity and being my 2nd time ever financing anything ended up with HUGE loan and Huge payments NEXT 2) The warranty I purchased does NOT cover mechanical issues like transmission or engine when I was told it would and purchased a Platnium Power train warranty AND I purchased a tire/road warranty after many a flat tire with my 1st car. I just REALLY Dislike being LIED TO and swindled. I guess that's their job to lie and swindle but it's wrong. Now over a year later I'm stuck with a truck and warranty I don't want and can't get out of it. I won't EVER go through Nissan to buy a 3rd car. They got me twice and I was happy the first time but the 2nd time has been a never ending nightmare. ALSO DONT HAVE TO CALL THEM BEVAUSE IF U LEAVE THEM A MESSAGE U WILL NEVER GET A CALL BACK! I visited several dealerships in the area on my day of purchase. My salesman, Mr. Dannie Myers, was amazing! He came out, asked me a few questions about what I was looking for, likes/dislikes, and walked me directly to the only vehicle that I would look at and test drive. His attentiveness to what I wanted made my decision much easier, and I am one picky chick! I fell in love with this car and even purchased it in a color (white) that I vowed to never buy again! Came to Nissan as a first time buyer and from the moment I walked in they treated me like family. Not the fake friendly you typically get at a dealership, but a true genuine care for you. I had been in the car market for a while and pretty much knew exactly what I wanted and they made my experience headache free. Matthias Johnson was beyond friendly and caring and never once was he pushy. He put me in exactly what I asked for and more. He is amazing at what he does. His sales manager, Jimbo that handled my financing went above and beyond to make sure I was covered and not drowning in a car payment. He was always straight forward, upfront and never beat around the bush. He even stopped everything he was doing to make sure I understand the break down of my trade in value and where money was being applied. He did not give up until he got a reasonable payment plan set up for me. He is also fantastic at his job. Josh Marston the finance manager explained every to a T regarding my warranty, payment plan and breakdown of complete sale, along with any other questions or concerns I had. The whole entire team was amazing and I would never buy a car from anywhere else. Absolutely amazing. We need more people like them working in this career. I had the best experience and will recommend Five Star Nissan of Florence to everyone!!! I needed a car quickly after my car was totaled. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like they truly had my best intentions at heart. They were welcoming and greeted myself and my parents as soon as we got out of our car.
