Landon did a wonderful job listening to my needs and wants in a car. As person who has difficulty connecting with people due to autism, he did an OUTSTANDING job making sure that I didn't feel overwhelmed and made sure I was heard. Cannot recomend him enough. From start to finish, everyone was welcoming and professional, but a special shout-out goes to Rico, my salesman. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure I felt confident about my choice. If you’re thinking about getting a new car, I definitely recommend checking out Hyundai of Florence and asking for Rico — he’ll make sure you drive away happy! ---

Do not reccomend, had a terrible experience while looking for a car. This dealership likes to play a lot of games and the service is quite rude. Went an hour out of the way to look at a vehicle at this dealership with cash to purchase, and unless you want to finance, they don't have the time of day for you. Ended up buying a vehicle at another dealership down the street (Toyota of Florence) the same day, because of how frustrating this dealership was. Laine (our inital sales person) and the other sales associates could care less about closing on a deal, and will continually try to slide more fees the longer the process goes on. Stock of vehicles were nice, however much of the inventory is "spoken for," and the only way they honor Hyundai Website deals is for financing customers. If I had to buy through ALM, it would be at the Athens ALM or another location. No issues with the service department or the facility itself, just disappointed with service.

Grab a snack and a drink, use the bathroom, cause we're about to go for a ride! So my wife comes to me with a thought, she wants to buy a car, she's been saving up money for a while and has decided on a 2024+ Kia Sorento. She finds the one she wants! It's an uncommon color (wolf gray), it has a sunroof, it's got low miles (20k) and it's a year newer than she was originally looking at (2025). Enter the inconvenience, it's in Macon GA. A 4 hour drive away, not the end of the world as I would drive across the country to get her a medium iced caramel craze if she asked, but slightly inconvenient at 11pm none the less. So the next morning (Friday morning). 6am I wake up and immediately start trying to figure out how I'm going to get this vehicle back to the house, SC. enter the realization that ALM has almost as many locations as dollar general. I find one in NC, a little closer! I keep looking, and I find that there's a location in Florence SC! A PLAN IS COMING TOGETHER! I call ALM Hyundai at 8am, to my amazement someone answers, Marilyn (I think, I don't remember),a human being, not someone from a call center, someone AT the dealership. Shes wonderful, I let her know that I need a sales person to call me as soon as possible, ask her to use her judgement to get me a good sales person. I wait with anticipation. At 8:30am my phone rings, it's Cristena Prones, a sales person from ALM. She greets me, and simply says that she was asked to call me. I IMMEDIATELY inform her to skip the BS, she doesn't need to help me find the car I want, she doesn't need to ask my mommy and Daddy for anything, I give her two simple requests, her best price possible on the vehicle I wanted, and for her to get it to the Florence SC location. I told her to call me once she has a plan. Simple, get the car to her and I'll buy it on the spot. I'm assuming Cristena got to work immediately because about 30min later (she had a morning meeting so I'll cut her some slack for taking so damn long). She calls and gives me a price I like, and says that if I come in she can start the process of getting it transferred, I tell her I don't wanna deal with that nonsense, I'm not drive 2 hours one way to sign paperwork to start a deal, I'll drive to finish the deal. She speaks with her manager and after I offer to put a deposit down over the phone, they accept. We drive to the dealership, Cristena is waiting for us, we sign the paperwork for the deal, (this is the only part I didn't enjoy) we had a slightly longer than desired wait time for the finance manager, but Cristena kept us entertained, also recommended an excellent lunch spot. Fast forward to the next day, the new car arrives! The wife ABSOLUTELY loves it, she loves the color, she loves the low mileage, she loves the sunroof, she loves that Cristena had the transfer drivers drop it off at our house (they were awesome too!). BONUS - the next day, I'm creeping around on good ole Facebook marketplace and I find something I want, and like a fat kid with cake, I NEED IT. AND GUESS WHERE IT IS! Florence SC, so I call my good friend Cristena Prones, who happily, might I add, offers to meet this complete stranger to secure my treasure! Cristena was given a task and completed it quickly and efficiently, she was super helpful and kept us informed of all the moving parts, even called to have the other dealership detail the vehicle before her drivers arrived. She is fantastic and I'd recommend that anyone looking to purchase a vehicle should reach out to her, and tell her that Nick McKibbins EPIC review is what sent you to her!

Kristoffer Wilson was amazing. Not only was he not pushy but he tried to help in keeping my children happy while we worked out a deal. My son sent me there to see one person but I wanted to speak with the person that sold him his first car. So, I went to Mr Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a great salesman. Looking at what I wanted and what I could afford was the difference. Mr. Johnson helped me out a whole lot. I was able to purchase a car that won’t financially bind me and Mr Johnson alone helped me see that. I am grateful for my car and glad I was able to speak with him. Hats go off to Mr Reaves in the finance office great service and professionalism.

Jolly Perkins and Markese are wonderful people to buy a car from. They are genuinely nice people and really cares about the customer. I like people that are straightforward and works with you. We have bought 5 cars from them. I will continue to buy from them if they are still there. I recommend you to go there if you are looking for a car. Those two guys will work with you.

We were from out of town with a major car problem. Went to ALM Hyundai and met with Vanna who was amazing! Helped us find overnight accommodations, provided us shuttle service to and from hotel and coordinated our repairs. We were back on the road in 24 hours and were on our way to almost sunny Florida! Big thanks to Vanna for her efforts and kindness.

Story time with Kendra: Back in July 2025, we purchased a 2016 Honda HR-V from ALM Hyundai of Florence. We found it on CarGurus and it looked like a fair deal, so we drove from Myrtle Beach to Florence to check it out. Once we got to the dealership, we were told the actual price was about $3,000 more than what was listed online because the online price was a “promotional” price (and yes, they pointed out the fine print on CarGurus saying prices can be higher). We still moved forward because we needed the vehicle for my 16-year-old daughter. Less than 3 months later—and with not even 600 miles driven—she ended up stuck on the side of Highway 501 when the SUV went into limp mode. We later found out the transmission needed to be replaced. Thank goodness we purchased an extended warranty, because that has honestly been the only saving grace in this situation. Even with the warranty, we still had to pay a $250 deductible, and we also paid $400+ to have the vehicle towed back to Florence. The warranty company did cover labor and the rental/loaner while the work was being done. They provided a loaner, but the back-and-forth with it was another headache (minor compared to everything else, but still frustrating). We finally got the car back in December… and now it’s January and we’re already dealing with another issue again. I reached out to the service department and was told someone would call us, but as of today we still haven’t heard anything back. Lesson learned. If you purchase a used vehicle from here, make sure you get the extended warranty—because you’re probably going to need it.

Truly loved my car when I first got it back in November 2024, I got my first oil change March 2025, one of the techs in the service didn’t put a piece on correctly and the oil came out, causing the engine light to come on. I wanted to trade right away so I didn’t get a brand new car back to mess up. Fast forward, 3/19/25, the engine light comes on after this happened with the oil change. They assured me it was not anything. Starting in sep 2025 I kept an engine light to come on, I would take it they “couldn’t” figure out the problem, finally after going 4/6 different times 12/30 they put a part on because it was a “evap leak” next morning on 12/31 I wake up get half a mile down from my home gong to work engine light returns. I have called, told them I truly don’t want this vehicle back. I’ve expressed my concerns on why, asked could they help me get into a different car, but not Hyundai Tucson, without messing with my payments. Truthfully I’d get another make, but I would be content to stay with them I do love the way they look. I feel like I haven’t had much help and they think I’m stupid. I am not stupid. I feel as a customer they should wanna be helpful. the service manager , Miranda have been helpful they do understand my concerns. I know they can’t do but so much but I called to speak to there GM and he was a butt, and acted like he couldn’t understand my concerns to even help me. Caitlyn.

Mr. Johnson was very kind and accommodating. He listened to my wants,and concerns. He allowed me to show him what I had found on line and advised me on which vehicle he thought I would be better satisfied. He did not try to see me on an expensive car but a better version that I would enjoy. We encountered several employees that were friendly and pleasant. The finance person absolutely was kind and understanding. They all treated us great...evened concerned that we were made comfortable while we waited...(it was a very busy day for Alm). I hope we have other great experiences as I have my new Sante fe serviced there.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cristena was absolutely amazing to work with! She was extremely knowledgeable and took her time during the test drive to explain everything in detail, even having us pull over so she could walk us through all the features thoroughly. Nothing ever felt pushed or rushed from start to finish, which we truly appreciated. She made our leasing process the easiest it’s ever been. I had a wonderful experience buying my 2026 Hyundai Tucson Limited from ALM Hyundai! This was my first time purchasing a car from a dealership, and I was pretty nervous going in, but everyone was so friendly and helpful. Cristena took great care of me throughout the entire process. She let me look around without any pressure and helped me figure out what I actually wanted — which turned out to be the exact car I drove home in! She made everything feel easy and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to qualify for 0% APR on a brand new car, and the team worked with me to get my monthly payment as low as possible. I really appreciated that. Travis helped me with the type of car I wanted. He took my needs seriously. I had demands when I walked into Hyundai. I did not want to be sold extras and then have a higher payment than what I wanted. Travis wasn’t pushy at all. He explained my options, just that, I had options. It was my choice. That is what I liked. He got my a lower interest rate, the car I wanted, the color I wanted and with the payment I expected. I’ve never given a car salesman a review before. It’s been over 20 years since I bought my first new car. Travis wasn’t pushy professional. He cared about what I wanted and made sure his co-workers knew it lol. I appreciate honesty and I am very happy with my car.

Great customer service!!!! No hassle, or pushy salesman. My experience with this dealership was the best, and I have purchased several vehicles previously. If u don't see ur vehicle on the property, they can locate a vehicle for you online at their other dealerships. AARON PIERCE was a great guy to deal with, he showed patience while showing me several different vehicles. I would definitely shop here again.

I would give 10 stars if I could. I had an excellent experience working with Rico! He was patient, kind, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable throughout the entire process. I really appreciated how respectful he was and how he took the time to ask what I liked about the car I was purchasing. He made sure I felt confident and comfortable every step of the way. Even after my purchase, both Rico and the staff were still just as helpful and willing to answer any questions I had. Their customer service truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!
