They got everything you need to survive with the exception of food.. but they do hav two candy machines. So yea i guess they even hot food. Great place!! Liw prices
This place is a surplus store where you are going to find great deals on general home maintenance and regular home goods here. Not only that but Larson is a bit of a local historian and puts cool old 8mm film for local history up on Facebook. Thanks for being a pillar of the community.
A little bit of everything, it's hard to find a store like this one in corporate america. Sometimes you'll find something you've never seen before. The store has old world charm and real world usefulness. Home repairs and interesting items.
If you want the great experience of a friendly neighborhood hardware store, this is definitely where you should go. From seasonal items to oddball bits and pieces, this is a great place to shop. You never know what you will find. I have stop in looking for pieces for unique projects. Tom helped me invent what I was looking for.
Larsons salvage is a great place to go they have quality goods along with odd things you don’t normally find. It is a great place to go to for supplies, the staff is friendly and not pushy. Over all just a great store.
They had the hardware I needed and it was cheaper than buying it at one of the bigger hardware stores. The team members I interacted with were helpful and friendly. Keep up the good work!
Great prices on many items suck as paint, with a great selection and a courteous, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I would not shop for hardware supplies any place else, while recommending Larsen's to everyone that I know with hardware supplies at a great price.
If they don't have it you don't need it. You can find about anything here. Go in and just look around, it's actually fun to see. Great prices, as in low low prices.
Wide range of hardware parts, tools, yard tools, connectors, rope, paint. There's no way to describe the stock in this store in here. You have to browse to appreciate. Prices are very good and the staff is always helpful. Plan to spend more time than you expect just to look around.

I bought an oil-based gallon of black industrial coating and older rustoleum 2-part epoxy paint and the quality first rate! (at half the price of Lowe's)
Also a good place for sandpaper and other finishing materials, like rollers and trays and such.
They are also a good hobby art store, with a whole rainbow of colors and smaller containers to pick through.
They also have odds things and older stock of normal hardware items.
a 16 foot-long zipper? -They have a bin full of them.
4'X3' aluminum sheathing? - they have a stack
Anti-fatigue mats? - a whole big pile
3,000+lb towing strap? - they got 'em.
Safes?! - they have like 6 options to choose from.
I'm not entirely sure who would need all those different items....
Basically I'm really impressed with both the variety and value of this hardware store in Bay City, Mi.
