Horrible customer service, they don't let you see what they do to your car, they treat you like garbage, they charge you 70 dollars in cash and 85 dollars if it is by card, it is a place you do not want to return to, I regret having gone to this place, they rob you and leave you with no desire to return, Ricardo is the owner and he does nothing to make his employees have a little cordiality, at least a greeting, a good treatment with someone who is going to leave their car, so that they can do something that you are paying for! Please do not go to this place!
Ricardo is a mechanic I feel that I can trust to tell me what my car needs without my being oversold on un-necessary work. His prices are reasonable and his work is good. He will talk with you about your options, and sometimes has let me take the car home to use for several days until the needed part arrives, then I take it back. The shop is always full of antique cars in various stages of restoration and I enjoy looking around and watching the progress of returning these special cars to their former glory. I highly recommend.
They were the best in the eighties and nineties when we took our MGs there, for parts, conversation, and knowledge. We have moved. Have they considered an other shop in south central PA?! We still have 2 Bs and we miss them terribly. Stef and Barbara. Is TJ still there?

I went to this shop about a week ago to get my front breaks done, I brought my breaks with me, however the owner Ricardo took my wheel off and told me that I had the wrong breaks, I told him that I would go and get the correct breaks to put the wheel back on , he said that he would have to charge me 1/2 the price of what he was charging me to put my breaks on to put the wheel back on because he took the wheel off. He also suggested that I get someone to come get me to go get the correct breaks , I was confused as to why he would say that when all he had to do was put my wheel back on so I could go get the correct breaks and come back so he can complete the work for me. I asked him why would he charge me to put my wheel back when I’m going to get the correct breaks and coming right back, he said would u take something off and not charge? To me that’s bad customer service and to charge me to put my wheel back on which was $30 he charged was mind puzzling to me, I’ve been to this shop several times and NEVER had an issue til now. I will NEVER go back to this shop again this was by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had to encounter. If I could give negative zero stars I would .
My car was pulling to the right side, they did the alignment but it was not fixed, I take it back, one of them drove my car, he told me I don't feel anything, I told him it has still problem, but he did not do it again, so I suggest you folks, DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE, THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO FIX IT.
There use to be a thing called privacy, Google in the name of convenience has destroyed that.I'm uncomfortable with my device knowing my whereabouts without my permission, however I love Mountjoys

Bad customer service. Take you money and don’t listen. Go to another auto like Kelly’s Muffler that does better work. If you have knowledgeable, this guy will try to make it seem like you don’t know what you’re talking about. Poor quality, not punctual opened at 8:10am, not professional and poor value. Always always great service. I NEVER write reviews but I have been to Mountjoy as of today 3 times. They work super fast, nearly same day turn around, and they have the lowest labor cost in the DMV.. Believe me im cheap and Ive called everywhere. Ive gotten my radiator replace, engine mounts, and now complete break job.
This place is great. Ricardo helped me out when I needed someone with a shop press to press out/in some hub and bearing assemblies into a set of steering knuckles. I just dropped them off and picked them up later in the day. It's nice to have a small independent shop locally to help out on projects when you get in a bind.

Good guys to deal with - the work they did for me came in *under* their original estimate, and they had no problem with me adding on a couple of little jobs after I had dropped it off (i.e. they didn't tell me to schedule another appointment).
