Always good services and fair prices

I rather take my business elsewhere. I was told to drop my car off at 7am, which no one opened until almost 7:20am. I arrived early, waited until the business open. However, there is a gentleman who doesn’t speak any English. Then he calls someone. I tried to explain what is going on with my car and to get a diagnostic. I was told to hand over my keys and text what is going on with my car. This is not professional. I was gonna be okay with this but I thought to myself this sounds crazy. Going through these round about ways to communicate to a potential client is how misunderstandings happen. I am already having this unpleasant experience why would I want to continue forward and give up money. Something is telling me not to patronage and I rather listen now and now regret if I didn’t listen.

I went for a md state inspection. They are really nice and it didn't take long. I end up deciding to use them for tag & title b/c they were so much more chill than going to the MVA! I had to leave for another appointment but they texted me when my tags were ready and even put them on for me when we came back. Other places just handed them to me lol - thanks Luke! I'll definitely come back whenever my cars need repairs to see how that is.

I brought my car in at the very end of the day and they were able to quickly diagnose the issues. They ended up completing the work for 2/3 of the original price as well. They're great mechanics and charge a fair price for their work. Definitely recommend!

We were on a roadtrip from DC to NY when our ABS sensor light turned on. Within 30min, Danny’s auto shop got us checked, diagnosed, and back on the road. The crew is friendly, honest, and incredibly helpful. Could not recommend more

I left a review for this place a year ago, when I had a phenomenal experience with the mechanic. I recommended Danny's to a bunch of people since then and they've come back with lackluster experiences. It seems like some employment has changed. Folks I've referred have mentioned being talked to in a brusque and/or condescending way. Additionally, a few months ago, one person took their car there for 2 issues. They were told at the time it was fixed, and found out recently that neither were repaired properly. I'm not sure what's happened. My experiences there were great last year, and just decent this year. But it's troubling to hear about these experiences from several folks I've referred there, so I can't confidently recommend the services here anymore. :/

Horrible customer service he spoke to me on the phone and I let him know I woukd arrive in 20 minutes. After arriving in 20 minutes exactly, I went to greet him and to tell him I was the person he just spoke to. He said ok I'm going on lunch. My issue was air-conditioning so I sat in my car for 40 minutes with no air with 95 degree temp. Only after he got finished he said you can go into the office while I look at the car. Never telling me there was an office out of the heat beforehand. There was so much more but you see his character. He would not treat his family and friends that way

Had an issue with my brake lights refusing to go off and luckily this shop was open. The gentleman was kind enough to determine what was going on with my car and fixed it quickly at no charge. It brightened up an already tough day and I will be coming back for any other car issues.

I told her on the phone what the job was to be done and we agreed on a price and time. I went there at the exact time specified, after they took other vehicles and made me wait for exactly 1 hour, He looked at my vehicle for 1 minute and said he can't do it for this price. He wasted my time.Very unprofessional service!

I've been coming to Danny's Auto for a year now and I must say that Kevin the Head mechanic does good work. I've brought 2 of my vehicles to him and he fixed and solved my issues at a fair price.

5 star service every time! Always accurate diagnosis and they use the best parts, if you want your vehicle fixed the right way, look no further. As a customer for over 30 years i only bring my cars here, even after moving to Frederick, MD several years ago.

If you're looking for a reliable and honest mechanic, look no further!!! In summary had a State Vehicle Safety inspection at a different shop that misdiagnosed my vehicle. I took the vehicle to another auto shop for a second opinion, iwho confirmed the misdiagnosis, and advised me to not return to the first inspection shop. In a nutshell, that's how i ended up at Danny's through online search. It was the best decion i made. Danny also confirmed the misdiagnosis. After thorough inspection, my car passed inspection. Danny was very professiiona, honest, competent and offers reasonalbe price. I strongly recommend Dannys Auto Services to anyone looking for quality and hassle free services. Thank you Danny!.

I have been going there for almost 20 years, Danny is a man of his word, gives you fair price!!! Work is always done on time. He has fixed things that other mechanic cannot figure out. He has a great working crew. His Work ethics are all that! You are in great hands here!

I have taken my cars to Danny's Auto for many years. Good work and reasonable prices. Small shop, but does what is needed. Honest estimates. Reliable work. Often very busy so call before going there.

Danny is the BEST in TOWN!! He is by far the most fair priced mechanic around and does an excellent job. That is why he has the same customers that keep coming back since he has been in business. I know he doesn't always answer the phone but that is because he is working on someone's car. He will always get back to you. He works from first thing in the morning straight through sometimes 12-14 hours. You will not be disappointed.

The best mechanic in the DMV area. I started letting Danny work on my first car when I was 17 and have not used any other place since. I'm 46 now, live in Frederick and still make sure my cars all get to his shop. If having a 2006 Subaru i bought new, now with over 366,000 miles isn't a testimony that speaks for itself I don't know what is. I've had a Ford F-150, Subaru Forester, Subaru Outback, Honda Accord, Honda Odyssey's and a Ford Mustang worked on at Danny's over the years with confidence. His ethics and honesty are a rare find in a mechanic these days.

I've known Danny for almost ALL of his career as a mechanic and business owner. He is the BEST mechanic around. He is very fair and knows anything about repairing a vehicle. He's fast but if he's got a lot full of cars to do (because he's that good), of course it may take a little longer sometimes to get a job done because he's about QUALITY, not QUANTITY. The reason he doesn't answer the phone sometimes is because he's away from his desk working on a customers car and doesn't have a receptionist. Leave a message and he will call you back!

Danny's auto service is excellent. Took my Nissan Versa in for repairs and it came out almost like new. Great service, friendly staff and they sure know what they are doing. Definitely will keep bringing my baby in to Danny's shop in the future .

Danny has had my mother in law’s car for about a month now. For the last several weeks he has been telling her that he’s waiting for someone to look at the car due to code issues. Supposedly his computer can’t handle this. She has been told this entirely too long now with no plan ever discussed with her. The last several days he won’t even answer phone calls or return calls. She’s had to go up there just to be told he’s out of town. We have mechanic friends and we were told that it’s a simple solution and they don’t understand why it’s taking him so long. They were even willing to help him over the phone because they are experienced, far more than Danny, apparently. Since he never answers any of his numbers, we we are at a stand still. I mean, are we suppose to just sit and not inquire about when the vehicle will be finished. He has her only means of transportation. A month is excessive, especially when it was only a few hour ignition job. Very unprofessional!!!!!!!! Check your voicemail. RETURN YOUR CUSTOMER’S CALLS!!!!!!!!!!

I'm from out of town. Picked Danny's shop because of its location and previous reviews. Heard a noise from my power steering pump Danny stopped what he was doing, came outside to examine the complaint, added fluid and assured me the car was safe to drive and there wasn't a mechanical problem. Refused to take money . I would HIGHLY recommend him and his shop.

Danny is great. I’ve been going to him for the last couple of services I needed and when I say no complaints...NO COMPLAINTS. Cons: He’s always busy so you have to call in advance. Pros: Great customer service Decent price and great work

This is the only place we have had our cars serviced for years. Danny is awesome and more than fair with pricing. I can't thank him enough for all of his help over the years. I recommend him to everyone.

Don't listen to the one negative report here. Danny may not answer his phone once in a while, but if you leave a message he always calls back. He has helped me in many sticky situations. once my alternator went, he towed my car back from Columbia and fixed it cheaply. He's put a tow package on my truck, he done most repairs in years I have been going there. Once, my motorcycle died. he sent is tow truck guys over to help me push start it at no charge. He is honest and fair in pricing. Can't say that about many mechanics around here.
