I am from a faraway state, was there for something on my way to DCA airport. I interacted with 2 persons there. Super helpful and nice. And efficient.

I have currently been on hold for over 15 mins and all i had was a question about a particular part terrible customer service wont be returning

I went in for a caliper, I was in and out with no hassle, The entire staff was helpful. I always give a 5 star rating for good customer service.

I needed a battery change. Didn’t even have to ask for help, Dimetri P. changed my battery in no time. All while remaining very communicative throughout the whole process. Thank you very much!

Had the best experience here today. Finally found an Auto Zone that isn't understaffed. I needed a battery. Brittney check my battery right away and was very motivated to install my battery because a storm was coming and I had my daughter with me. Other sales associates apologized for the wait and thanked me for my patience.

Great customer service today. Was able to get what I wanted and the website displayed the correct item in stock. The place was a little full, but I imagine that’s how most auto stores are on a Sunday. The line went fairly quick though. Plenty parking and there were different payment options including apple pay. All in all, nothing to really complain about, and something to give kudos on for the excellent customer experience. Also, it’s usually unlikely to have so many staff in place. Happy they had that. It rlly help to move things along.

I was out of town and my headlight went out and I needed windshield wipers. I ended up only buying the light because I NEEDED that immediately, but I left the wipers even though it was raining off and on. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because of the prices not the customer service. The guy tried to get me to buy the wipers (his job) but those things wet about $15 more than they were at Walmart. So work on those prices for 5stars. They maybe so much more because they will put them on for you. #builtthatcostin. Makes sense, but I ended up buying them from Walmart and YouTubing how to install. OAN, I would have did the same for that bulb, but I needed it…it was too expensive as well. I bought it from them and installed it myself.

I walked into this store to buy wiper blades ,headlights and a battery and I stood up in a line for almost 20 minutes and was becoming mad already, finally I came to a cashier called Bertrand .E , I think he is from Africa , I have never seen such excellent clientele 🤩, he will run for anything he needs to collect to help me,I was satisfied with his service to the point that I asked him how much I was to give him for the job done and he said it’s a free service and whatever I wanted to give him was Enough.very generous a guy, I recommend everyone to ask for Bertrand.E when you get to that store…

Great experience. Very helpful. One worker explained to me how to remove the back on my key fob to put in my new battery. They even let me use their screw driver right in the store so that I could do it myself. I was very grateful.

Never every will I come here again. Went to the campus location and was told they didn't have there, but I can pay for it and pick it up at Landover location. Lines everywhere. Was told to pick up at the counter in the rear, then after I get thru that line I'm told I have to pick it up at the front registers because this line is for commercial. Now I'm in a longer line. My first and last time here. The part was a thermostat that is associated with the radiator. 1st off, the Thing didn't come with the gasket which is needed to make a firm fit, it's the rubber piece that goes around the edge of the thermostat and they didnt even have the gasket in stock. Shouldn't that come with the part? It's separate because it's a another play to get the money. The old gasket wouldn't fit on the new thermostat because, of course, it was an aftermarket product that was a different shape than the old one. I had to go to the mazda parts department to get the part and they had the exact same part that fit perfectly and it came with the gasket.

I placed an online order and paid extra for the "same day delivery service." The order never arrived. I called customer service, and the rep told me that a gift card would be issued for my inconvenience. I was advised I could pick up the order, which was being held at a store about 45 mins from my location if I so chose. I did so choose. The store could not find my order, and furthermore did not have any of the parts. Not a one. I called "customer service again, and had a 15 minute convo the majority of which I was on hold while they canceled the order. To sum up, I spent ~3 hours on an order that was to be brought to me. I never received the illusive "gift card." I came away with none of the parts I needed. I did get to drive my '74 Ranchero all over the damn place though. At ~$4.70 a gallon driving 40 miles is about 5 gallons of gas. That because I get about 8 miles per gallon in my truck. In brief a non-happenin' parts trip that cost me a bit over 20 bucks. Meh.

I visited AutoZone buy a new battery and replace my corroded battery. This has been one of the best customer server experiences I've ever had. Priest and Bertrande greeted me with a friendly smile, professionalism and extremely prompt amazing service! They replaced by battery with no issues. Their dedication to excellent customer service and professionalism is second to none and reflects great credit upon themselves and the AutoZone brand. My overall rating undoubtedly is 5 out of 5 stars without hesitating. Priest and Bertrande deserve a big raise and the biggest recognition/honorable mention for their amazing friendly service, attentiveness and professionalism. Thanks AutoZone for hiring these jewels of employees to represent your reliable business! :o)

The customer service is terrible at this location. I placed an order Tuesday online for in store pickup. The item was showing as an "in-stock" item, but when I called the store, I was informed that the part was arriving from another location and therefore couldn't be picked up until Wednesday. I contacted the location on Wednesday around noon to check and see if my order was ready. I informed that the part was here all along and that I could come in at any time to retrieve it. The "in-store" experience was even more disappointing as the staff stood around acting as if they were busy so as not to have to assist a waiting customer. This occasion did not go smoothly. However, I don't feel that that is the regular atmosphere of all Auto Zone locations, but the Landover location leaves a bad taste in my mouth!

On 9.21.23. I visited the store to purchase a car battery for my 2016 Ford Edge and I was immediately impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of your staff. From the moment I called to confirm they had a battery, the young lady who answered the phone helped explain a few additional tips in choosing the right battery for my vehicle. I was greeted with a warm welcome upon arrival, and the team members went above and beyond to assist me. In particular, I would like to commend team members, Bertrand, Maurice, Chris, and Manager, Keith, for their exceptional assistance. I was not anticipating needing to change my battery as I drove in from Boston, Massachusetts for a family visit this week. They not only helped me find the right product for my vehicle but also took the time to explain the installation process and provided valuable tips for maintenance. They encountered a few challenges with installing the battery due to corrosion on the battery itself and together were able to troubleshoot. Their knowledge, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile made this experience a truly enjoyable one. I believe outstanding customer service deserves recognition, and I felt compelled to share my positive experience with you. Best auto zone in the area. This is the one you should go to every time because all the other locations are going to send you here in anyway. Literally went to two other auto zones to be told to go here for battery service but James who was helping out at a total other location was willing to stop what he was doing to help me out. You just don’t get that kind of customer service anymore . I’m super appreciative. Skipping all the other locations from now on and going here.

Great customer service!! I stopped in on a late Friday evening to replace a car battery purchased at another store but was still under warranty. The store is clean & the staff was pleasant, helpful & worked very efficiently to swap out my batteries!

For the shop at 7.99755 Landover Road: Most excellent service. I was in to return a car battery for the core charge, but I'd lost the receipt. I purchased a replacement battery back in September (~4 months ago), I was returning the old one. They took some time to find the record of my purchase, and had to walk through a couple of computer walls to give me the $23.99 core charge. Super helpful, and super friendly. These guys and gals do indeed walk through walls.

Stopped in for a brake light bulb last week and was super impressed with the customer care I received. I was in and out with what I needed. The woman who assisted me was friendly and helpful. The gentleman who I believe owns or manages this location was polite and has a great sense of humor. This was my first time stopping by this location. Let your dollar circulate in the community, stop in and shop/support this location!

I had an exceptional experience today at this store. I needed a battery and a young lady named Charlotte helped me. She was courteous and knowledgeable. After the battery purchase a young man named Kenny installed it without hesitation. He also put my brake light bulb in for me and tested my alternator. He was so pleasant and courteous. I’m a senior citizen and this customer service today was Outstanding!!

Worst experience I've had in a while. I dont even know her name but the moment I said hello and she just stared at me it was going to be issues. Not only was she rude but she offered the wrong size bulbs needed at the most expensive price without even mentioning other options or trying to show us what she picked out herself til after we bought it. I made sure to return it and swap it for the right one just so I wouldn't have to come back here. Definitely need some customer service training

I went in to purchase brake pads and rotors and the young lady that worked the front with long nails and red hair did a great job helping me. The rotors were heavy and not once did she ask for anyone to help her. I commend her hard work. She works very quickly and even helped out when she was supposed to clock out 3 hours ago.

The battery on my hybrid was dying. I was rolling the dice on AutoZone because a lot of them are ratchet. I am so glad I chose this one. The staff and especially the general manager help me select and install a very difficult battery at night. The store and the staff are very friendly and the extraordinary professional general manager so very much deserves his job. I hope your experience is as good as mine. Just make sure you bring good energy that's what gets reflected on you.

Ah man what a place! Staff are great and patient with my boys as I use my transactions as teachable moments. Some "mechanics" work in the parking lot. I have not used their assistance but they seem to be capable of doing doing simple fixes for a fee.

Great help and steady flow of help with enough staff to suit everyone needs in a very timely manner.

Although not extremely busy, we waited a very long time before someone announced, "of you're just purchasing I can help you here". Which caused an avalanche of people at the back of the line to run to the next register and although we were next to be served we had to wait even longer! Poor customer service! They should have asked for the next person in line just purchasing and that would have been us.
