The service was slow, extremely expensive, unprofessional, and unreliable. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially if you need your vehicle back quickly or expect quality customer service.
I’m genuinely surprised this shop has a 4.5-star rating — it makes me think most of the positive reviews may be from friends or family. I would encourage you to pay attention to the negative reviews instead. I’m not here to exaggerate — just sharing my personal experience so you can decide for yourself.
I took my truck in for AC repairs and had a very frustrating and expensive experience dealing with Carlos. The first repair cost me $1,400, and I was told the AC was fixed. However, when I picked up my truck, the AC still didn’t work at all. I brought it up to them, and they charged me another $1,700, saying “this time for sure” they knew what the issue was.
The whole process dragged on for about a month, with constant delays and excuses — from having only one mechanic who injured his back, to Carlos’s daughter getting married. Meanwhile, my truck sat parked outside in a high-crime area, and I had no vehicle the entire time.
To make things worse, they drained my battery and insisted I needed a new one, even though my battery has been fine since I stopped going there. Every time I picked up my truck, I’d have battery issues — which was incredibly frustrating.
After the AC was finally fixed, I noticed several dashboard warning lights that had never been on before. When I brought this up to Carlos, he initially said he’d fix them free of charge since it happened while the truck was in their possession. So I had to bring my vehicle back again and be without it for another stretch of time.
When I finally got the call that it was ready, I was hopeful it would be the end of this nightmare. But when I picked it up, the same warning lights were still on. Carlos told me he only turned off the one light he felt was their responsibility — essentially saying the rest wasn’t his problem. That was the last straw for me. I left the shop in tears, having spent thousands of dollars and weeks without my truck, only to end up with more issues than I started with.
The only “closure” I got was being able to tell Carlos how disappointed I was — although he spoke to me in a condescending tone and made it clear he was just waiting for me to stop talking so he could respond. At that point, I told him I was done and just wanted my truck back.
i had a bad experience here. i brought my truck in here for a tune up
paid higher than average price. figured ill pay lil more for quality service. Everything seemed good until a few weeks later i started to have a loss of pressure issue. so i took it in and had it "diagnosed"
long story short ive brought my truck back 5 times to date with same issue. each time he says its same problem and that he wont charge me to fix it. and each time finds something else new to "fix" and charge me for....so i took my truck to another mechanic certified lic. diesel mechanic and first thing he did was full diagnostic including running a pressure test and instantly found a leak. all the "repairs for this issue was due to a hose and not my fuel injectors and battery and valves and sensors that MCI was claiming to be the issue. the thing that bothered me also was the difficulty to get him on the phone after my truck was there for days and i hadnt heard back. i would drive by and could see my truck was parked on another street not even within view of the shop. i found so many scratches on the paint and when i mentioned this they just brush it off like its no big deal.
I tried to confront him with the real issue after getting it fixed elsewhere and he was like you cant prove this was the issue from the start. he didnt care how much i paid outta pocket or my time off work to do all this. honestly i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone unless u got an unlimited reserve of feria to spend and dont need your vehicle fixed immediately.

I can’t thank Carlos and the MCI crew for fitting me in their schedule enough! My pins in my rear calipers were seized and not cycling like they should, one of the pins/bolt broke inside the bracket and instead of ordering new brackets/calipers and costing me more money they painstakingly drilled out the stuck pin/bolt and made it work! Upon receiving my Jeep, my brakes were night and day deference! I haven’t felt my brakes like that since the day rolled my Jeep off the dealership lot 🥹
They were so professional, kind, and obviously patient and knowledgeable in getting that annoying job completed 🙌🏼👍🏼😉
