Fantastic experience! Juan was incredibly helpful, friendly, and courteous. I came for an oil change and made a passing comment about my A/C not working, Juan looked into it for me and informed me about a manufacturer's warranty for it, got it fixed up by the next day. I don't plan on going anywhere else for my car in San Diego, I'll be recommending this place to anyone who asks!

Dave Harlan is amazing. Super knowledgeable, very friendly, and easy to communicate with. I brought in a 2000 Honda Accord I just purchased from a private seller and needed a new timing belt and water pump, transmission fluid flushed, and oil changed. He told me to bring it in first thing in the morning and he had the car ready for me in the afternoon. He even took the time to tell me in real time extra things they had to do to my car to make sure I was in the loop. I'll be taking my car to Dave and Ball Honda for a long time. I appreciate you, Dave!

Came in to ball Honda for an oil change and met this amazing person Dave as soon as I pulled up to the door I was greeted with a smile, and when I say this man is very knowledgeable, I had 100 questions he had answers for everything. I like people that will sit there and go above and beyond for their customers. I promise every time I go back that is the guy that I’m going to.

He took the time to explain everything and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. You can tell he truly cares about his customers. Excellent customer service. I recently brought my car in and honestly had no idea what was happening with it. This was all new and overwhelming for me, but Juan made the entire experience so much easier. He clearly explained what was going on in a way I could understand and took the time to answer all of my questions. He truly went out of his way to make sure I felt informed and taken care of. What started as a stressful situation turned into something much more manageable because of him. I have never experienced this level of customer service before, and I am very pleased. My parents purchased a brand-new vehicle from a Honda dealership in Chula Vista eight months ago. They used their savings to invest in a reliable car, especially because they’ve been dealing with health issues and wanted something dependable and stress-free. Unfortunately, they began experiencing problems as early as the second day of ownership, including cabin pressure issues and possible window misalignment. When they returned to the selling dealership in Chula Vista to have the concerns addressed, they were dismissed without a proper inspection and told it was a manufacturer issue that needed to be taken up elsewhere. Today we reattempted to resolve the issue at Ball Honda in National City. We spoke directly with someone who identified himself as the service director, Moses. He was extremely rude and immediately approached the conversation in a confrontational manner, escalating the situation instead of trying to help. Not only did he refuse to inspect the vehicle, but he also refused to provide anything in writing explaining the reason. He became loud and hostile toward myself and my elderly parents, including my father, who is a veteran suffering from dementia. After a few minutes, he threw his hands up, said he was done with the conversation, and walked away. Regardless of whether the dealership could address the issue, there is always a professional and respectful way to communicate that to customers. Unfortunately, we were met with the opposite. The lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic customer service was shocking and deeply disappointing. This has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering this is a new vehicle that was purchased for reliability and peace of mind. Sufficed to say, not us nor any other member of our family will be conducting any future business with Honda.

I was thoroughly impressed with the technicians troubleshooting skills in identifying the discrepancy of my vehicle and once identified it was fixed in a timely manner. From the very beginning, the communication was outstanding. Even before we arrived at the lot, the team was incredibly responsive — they answered all our questions quickly and sent detailed information and additional pictures we asked for. That was huge for us, since we didn’t want to waste time driving long distances to different dealerships. Their transparency and responsiveness really helped us feel confident before we even got there. A special shoutout to Ray, who showed us the car and took us on the test drive. He was so kind, patient, and easy to talk to — never pushy, just genuinely helpful. He made the whole process feel relaxed and comfortable. We’re also very appreciative of Ray and his manager for working with us on the price. They truly did their best to get us the most competitive deal possible, were open to negotiating, and even included some extra upgrades, which we really valued. We bought a certified pre-owned Honda Pilot, and the car is in excellent condition. In fact, we took it on a 2,500-mile road trip right after buying it, and it was such a smooth and comfortable drive — that alone says a lot about the quality of the vehicle and the preparation that went into it. Overall, the entire process was smooth from start to finish — from our first contact with the dealership, to scheduling our visit, the test drive, and completing all the paperwork. We felt taken care of the whole way through. Highly recommend!

I had code po430 bank 2 code on my 2018 Pilot. I called Ball Honda and spoke with Dave H. Very knowledgable about this and allayed my concerns regarding possible gas injectors or catalytic converters. Said diagnostic fee required to diagnose. Made appointment. Dropped off car and Mr. Tony gave me a free shuttle ride home. Tony was very kind and professional. Received a call from Dave who said problem was the injectors which were under warranty and would all be replaced at no charge. Tony from shuttle service picked me up to retrieve my Honda Pilot. Service was great. Dave was very kind, considerate, professional and above all honest. Ball Honda is a great place to service your vehicle. I highly recommend them. Daniel P.

The overall service was smooth and I was given a prompt updates on what will the process be throughout the service on my Honda Civic Recall. However, the only thing is that, when I booked an appointment online it seems like the Honda place wasn't aware about my appointment because Ive been informed that it was AI operated and I think it will really helpful if they can update that to avoid any confusions in the future but in general the customer service was appropriate.

I've had great experiences here. I purchased my car back in 2020 and just the other day I went in for maintenance. There was an extended warranty for my cars AC and they took great care of it. Ruben was very helpful and informative! I got my car back the next day. I am so thankful it was such an easy process!

Ever since I bought my 2014 Honda CRV, I’ve been going to Ball Honda, and specifically Dave Harlan, for all my service needs. I know when I visit Dave, I get a no kidding assessment of what is really needed to be done, with no upselling or pushing of unneeded repairs. My repairs have been professionally completed and I have yet to have an issue with repairs made to my car that requires a revisit. I will definitely keep coming back so long as I have my CRV and Dave and his repair team is there to take care of my repair needs!

Spoke with Rueben today for my oil change and A12 maintenance. He was very personable and had great communication. I had a few questions and he answered them and helped me plan for the next appointment. I also really like the mechanic videos. They are pretty cool to see what they see as they are working on the vehicle.

Overall I had a wonderful experience, Jose and his team were super friendly and helpful. I came for a simple check up and they took the initiative to fix any problems they noticed. What usually took other shops a day to maybe even 3, only took Ball Honda 1 hour. If I had any other problems with my Honda Civic, I’ll definitely be taking it back here again.

Juan customer service at Ball Honda, National City was professional, exceptional and the best in San Diego. I was instantly impressed when he received my call for my 2015 Honda Accord with starter issues that was towed to the dealership, he reassured me that they are open to receiving it immediately. He walked me through every options available for me to afford the repairs from military discounts to financing to trade-in and value proposition. After agreeing to the repairs cost, he expedited the repairs within 24hours despite the fact that the car needed new starter, brake pads, rotors and gasket sealing. I appreciated the service as my car was back to my Turo business as soon as I retrieved it. Definitely 💯 recommend his service and would be visiting Ball Honda for my subsequent services.
