These guys are really cool and super helpful. They gave me good advice to save money on my bike even if they could have made more off of me. They were welcoming and excellent hosts. These guys are great and way better than cycle gear. DONT GO TO CYCLE GEAR. GO HERE

Very straightforward process. One of the best customer experiences I’ve had.

John and Eddy and the rest of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. They go above and beyond to help you find the parts you need for your bike, while also making sure to recommend the safest and best options. Very knowledgeable and always willing to help.

Very pleasant mechanics and shopkeepers! I took my HD in for an oil change and they took it in the afternoon and finished in less than an hour! Their prices were a little less than the dealership. I’m grateful I found these guys!

Currently in the shop. Saw this spot on Google because I needed maintenance on my bike, AND YO THE HOSPITALITY AND WORK WAS PHENOMENAL! They have a new loyal customer! They even store bikes if you're going on deployment or traveling. I worked with John, Eddy, and the maintenance was done by Rob and Santiago. 5 stars from me and I will be back again. P.S. also ordered a special part that will be in soon, so they can do it all! I appreciate you guys.

My husband gets all his work done on his bikes here. Great people, great prices, and he has never had a complaint so neither do I.

I’ve been struggling to make this review because I’ve been going here for years with a great experience but my most recent visit was a big disappointment. My bike was leaking fuel from a bad rubber vacuum cap on the fuel tank. They also discovered that my left foot peg was really loose. The mechanic said he fixed everything and charged me about $300. I drove it home and parked it for a few weeks, the next time I rode it I went and got fuel and it started to leak before I left the gas station. I check my foot peg and it’s loose. I go home and pull my fairing off only to find that the rubber cap was still the original, brittle and torn on two sides and clearly aged. I’m not going back there again.

Very rude and to Daamm expensive for a tube change. They wanted $150.00 to change a tube on my flat tire after they had told me it was going to be $80.00.

The men here were super helpful. Not only did they have the part I needed, but also made time to install it for me. Big shout out to Rob for also teaching my son and I a good deal about dirt bikes. Cant recommend this place enough.

Bought some gear from them. Helmet, and a couple different pairs of gloves. I only ended up using one pair of gloves, and called and asked if I could come return them and get my money back for the unused gloves, still in the package. "best they can do is store credit" followed by a hang up. No thanks. Not to say it's wrong to not refund a never used piece of equipment, but it's very desperate. Idk anything about the service here for the mechanical side, but definitely know exactly what your buying if you want to get it from here, or just ship somewhere else for gear.

Took my motorcycle with them for a rear tire replacement, picked out a tire and was charged for the tire and $45 to replace it. The second time I went, I tried saving few bucks so I managed to find a good deal on a rear tire online, I figured $45 was a good deal for them to swap it out…..but they turned around and said because I didn’t buy the tire with them it would be $75….. in the end I wouldn’t save like I had planned too, so I left. Anybody reading I suggest you go online and pick an appointment time and day at eight balls online webpage. it’s only 69 out the door and get to chill while you wait, drink free coffee and watch TV.

Almost 15 years taking my motorcycles here and the service always excellent and better prices than any other place in the Southbay. I tried different dealers back in the day and all of them were more expensive and the staff was not cool at all. Here in NC Motorcycle all staff is friendly and they explain everything to you and the options you have. I completely recommend National City Motorcycles.

Went in for a simple oil change and throttle adjustment. All good. When I turned the bike back on a check engine light is on that wasn't before. So i ask about it. The guy instantly gets super defensive and screaming about how he's been doing this 40 years. I'm just trying to figure out why that came on when it wasn't before which I think is reasonable. Before I have time to even look at it he yells go sit down ill hook it up to the diagnostic computer it's gonna be another 95 dollars. I ask him why he's getting so insanely rude and he says it's because I looked on my phone to look for potential reasons the light could be on and I need to stay off the internet. Crazy behavior. I'd be willing to listen to him but the guy instantly just starts throwing a fit instead of just being reasonable about possibilities with me. I look at other reviews and people call this guy moody. Understatement of the year. Don't freak out over small questions

Don’t go there unless you call before to see if they happen to be in a good mood or not busy. The guy in the front John is hit or miss and moody. No loyalty to his customers. Rob in the back is just as moody if not worse. Business owners and managers need to remember there’s many places around that are eager to have you spend your money. Don’t act like you’re the only gig in town.

Wow, was blown away with the price I was quoted to have my New tires and New Tubes installed on my wheels. TTR 125 14" rear 17" front...Wheels were off the bike with the front tire already remove and was quoted $90...$40 for the front, $50 for the rear. He said it would be cheaper if you purchased the tire here. I did it myself.

The staff were all wonderful and courteous. Very helpful and knowledgeable about their products, services and the like. They even went out of their way to create time to install a rear tire. I was willing to come back the next day to get it done but the salesman and technician insisted to get the work done right away.

New to San Diego. Stopped by to have them look at my bike since it’s older and hadn’t been ridden much lately. Service was quick and friendly. They gave it a thorough once over and pointed out what needed to be addressed and what could wait, no charge. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Hidden gem. Super cool guys working the desk and the mechanic was salty ...had me in and out quick on a Saturday. I had both tires replaced because I caught a nail in the rear and figured why not. Made some calls for pricing and to be honest I was surprised. 8 ball tires wanted over 500 bucks for some Dunlop's with installation...ouch. I ended up paying a very fair price for a similar tire without the drive so far north. Lots of bikes in the lot getting work so there busy. My experience tells me it's a great shop. Call ahead so you can make sure they get or have the tires you need.

Best shop of all time, one stop shop for all of your motorcycle needs, close to the base, the best mechanics I have found in 38 years and they stay there. Five stars all day no complaints all solutions at NCM!!!
Jun 21, 2021 -
I've been a customer since 2006, and I don't think five stars are enough. NCM is experienced, thorough, friendly, and they know what's what. They've saved me a lot of money over the years, and my bike is dialed. One of the best shops I've ever dealt with.

I have to add to my review, I come here every month to air up the tires on my Helix 250 and Burgman 650 (gas stations don't have the correct angle fitting on the air hose and my valve stems are at a 90° angle) Rob and his crew are great guys! I went 9/6/19 and noticed I lost 10psi in my front tire on the 650, as Josh was airing up my tire he checked the valve stem for leaks and found that there was a slow leak coming from the valve core. Within two shakes of a lambs tail he replaced the core with a new one and fixed the leak. I thanked Josh and asked how much I owed him he said you're welcome and there's no charge. I'm glad I live up the street from NCM, I appreciate everything they've done to help me stay safe on the road. Even though they're always packed with work and busy as hell they'll take care of you when you're in need of even the smallest thing like a new valve stem core. It might of saved me from having an accident on the road/freeway, I'm glad I check my bikes weekly and air up monthly. Badly needed a tire change on my 87 Helix, bought a pair of Bridgestone Molas ML16 & 17 tires, got them changed at N.C.M. they got the job done fast and was told what else needed taking care of next. Thanks guys!

Outstanding! We were passing though on our ride from Key West, FL to Patagonia. I called National City Motorcycles to see if they could help me custom fit some Rigid lights before we entered Baja. Not only did they recognize that we were traveling and took care of us quickly, they did a great job. Thank you guys, for taking care of us in such short notice!
