Do not bother coming here if you’re not ready to negotiate. If you’re bad at saying no, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Off rip, my 10k advertised car had $1k fee for a “gps security system that would cost 600 dollars to remove” and a $500 fee for “etching on all removable parts”. Both were able to magically disappear after negotiation. Ethan is a respectful young man and he was helpful, but of course it’s the same old dealership gimmicks here. No surprise there. They claimed they’re legally required to list these security systems separate from sticker price, so you don’t see them until you sit down to buy, but I’m prettty sure that’s simply a lie. A 14 year old civic was already listen at double kbb value. Oh and I forgot to mention, with 2 year dealer warranty, they were trying to get me at OVER 15 GRAND. Over a 150% markup from the sticker price. That gave me a good laugh. Like I said, avoid this place unless you’re good at saying no. Paperwork somehow managed to take close to an hour (of waiting in an office) after I hard pressed them on the price, surprising. Look, it’s a used dealer in San Diego on the miles of cars, I get it. Id rate my experience an overall 6.5/10, generously. Edit: bought the car Friday, battery died the following Monday. I knew it had a weak start but just letting it be known what kind of service you get with this dealer.

Our experience was amazing. Jorge was great. We called to ask if he can get the car we wanted ready so that once we arrived it would be ready to test drive. The car was great and he had tons of knowledge. He answered all of our questions. Daniel was great with helping us find a good bank for the loan. The entire team is great! I would def recommend them to family and friends

Bought a car here in 2019 its now 2026 and I still have it! I think a guy named Mike helped me but I cant remember if that was his name very nice guy. All cars have issues its all about researching and recalls for make and models. If I still lived in the area id buy here again.

Nice guys and good shop, I had a stressful issue with timeliness follow-up and communication. I put a deposit for a car down, that I was told was refundable. I asked for a refund a month ago and they confirmed that they would process the refund. I wasn’t refunded for a week so I asked again and got no response Then another two weeks went by and I texted about it again with no response Then I started calling a bunch of numbers and leaving voicemails and texting more. I finally got a hold of someone not because I got a call back but because I kept calling. They did refund me and apologize for the weight and said it an issue with the payment system. I think three stars, for my experience is still very fair because the lack of communication and lack of follow up and stress on my end. I’d still recommend looking into these guys to buy a car though! If I bought the car and didn’t get the deposit refunded, I might’ve had a five star experience, or if the deposit was refunded in a timely manner.

We test drove a 2015 Audi A7 Prestige that had been on the lot for over 60 days. We currently own an Audi A7 Prestige and are familiar with how the vehicle should feel. During the test drive, the brake pedal traveled nearly to the floor with delayed stopping, suggesting a potential issue with the brake system that could pose a safety concern for a prospective buyer. This is not a characteristic one would expect from a vehicle marketed as a luxury sedan. We raised this concern with staff and later discussed it directly with the general manager, Karl Albright. An inspection checklist was referenced; however, the braking behavior we experienced during the test drive was not reflected in that documentation. Mr. Albright stated the vehicle had only been on the lot for approximately 30 days. When we clarified—based on publicly available listings—that the vehicle had been listed for over 60 days, the discussion shifted from factual clarification to defensiveness. Based on comparable market listings we reviewed, the vehicle appeared priced on the high end. When we attempted to discuss adjusting the price to account for market comparables, vehicle condition, and potential repair risk, the conversation again became defensive and unproductive. We ultimately chose not to proceed. Notably, the vehicle’s listed price was reduced by $500 the following day. Prospective buyers are encouraged to independently verify vehicle condition, confirm listing history, and pay close attention to how concerns are handled during the sales process.

Overall, I thought the deal I got was solid, and the team was very informative and helpful throughout the process. The only thing I want to point out is that I did feel a bit rushed while the contract was being prepared. I also wasn’t expecting the additional charges for theft protection and GPS, these were added as markups, and I wasn’t informed whether they were optional. Because everything moved quickly, I didn’t realize this until later, so just something for future buyers to be aware of. They also offered me a warranty package, but my vehicle was still covered under the powertrain warranty from the manufacturer (only the bumper-to-bumper had expired), so I didn’t feel it was necessary to add. All in all, the vehicle was fair market value, and I was happy with my purchase and the customer service provided by the staff.

Had a great and easy experience getting a brand new car with all the great help from Manny, very understanding and helpful guy and willing to work with you and taking the process slow. Definitely 10 out of 10 recommend if your looking a nice and affordable car.

Had an absolutely smooth experience here at National city auto center. I have bought my wife's car here and brought my friends to check out this dealer because of how great our first experience was. We immediately got greeted by a member of staff on site who saw us browsing around the lot and took care of me by finding an available sales associate who's name was Christian. If you are interested in buying a car from this lot while everyone was kind Christian made our entire experience 1000% better! Buying a car is stressful enough and he was very kind patient and understanding who catered to all our needs as well as answered all our questions you will be in great hands with him.
