Omar was such a great help. He took his time to look up exactly what oil I needed for my car. He also explained the difference between the oils. Fortunately because he helped me, I was able to swap the wrong one I had. He was kind, PERFESSIONAL despite it being close to closing time. MY HUSBAND & I THANK YOU.
I called just now 9/13/2025 @7:40am and was told that they DO NOT have Ratchets, or lend them out. They only lend out “specialty tools.” SMH go elsewhere with better service.
Made a quick stop for ArmorAll wipes. They were easy to find. The gentleman helped me check out right away. I was in and out the door in under 5 minutes. Very happy!
I Actually Called The AutoZone By My Home And They Said They Had My Fuel Pump Relay @ The National City Location On Highland. I Definitely Called The AutoZone On Highland And They Said They Had Two In Stock. I Jump On The Bus And Went To The Store. I Spoke To A Sales Rep And He Said They Actually Had The Relay @ The Plaza Blvd Location Down The Street And I Could Go There. I Definitely Got Mad & Said No They Told Me They Had Two In Stock & If They Could Pick It Up Because I'm On The Bus. He Said No If I Could Come Back Tomorrow. I Definitely Said No & If I Could Get The Customer Service Number. He Came Back & Said Give Him 45 Minutes. I Actually Came Back After Lunch And They Actually Had The Part. I Definitely Recommend Calling Them & Asking Them To Check The Shelves And Get Their Name. Oh Yeah I Definitely Checked Other Part Places And Unfortunately No One Else Had It.
Gone to this autozone to buy some car air freshener. I also asked a question to the salesperson clerk. He said they didn't have it. And was very helpful. Will come back to autozone.
One of the employees yesterday, 3/29/2025 tried tricking me when returning something. Please make sure when hiring someone is honest and not looking to save his ass or friends/family by making the same actions over and over.
Alberto supervisor checked my car did a great job and it was very polite and nice. I would recommend anyone who needs help especially the ladies to come to AutoZone always very helpful.

I went today July 26, 2024, to AutoZone on Highland Avenue. Adrian (on cash register) helped me when I explained my problem about A/C. He is a super helpful employee and I commend him for giving me a very good service. He installed the Freon and very polite plus knowledgeable! Keep up the good work Adrian!!
The “supervisor” would not take my return and said nothing showing up. Need to go back to H street to return my item where I purchased. Go right down the street to plaza blvd (not where I purchased) and they accepted the return no questions asked. Employees in customer service need to remember to assist the people that keep their company in business. “Supervisor “ needs training.
Had to change a battery at the last hour. I called the store to make sure they had my size in stock. Daniel answered. Very polite. He was patient with my teenage daughter (her car) and allowed her to fumble with what she needed. He brought the battery out and showed her it was the exact one she needed. Very nice and friendly. Thank you Danny!! She installed it herself.

Fabulous customer service - Elias was knowledgeable and had a wonderful attitude! Elias (hope I spelled the name correctly) was super helpful and installed my new wiper. I am from Washington and visiting. Went through car wash and my wiper blade got snagged by washer mop. He got me squared away and on my way in 10 minutes. I highly recommend this Auto Zone.
This was a great experience. I walked in asked the man at the counter if he could help me. Explained my situation, he immediately took me to the additive I should use. I purchased it and was out the door. Very helpful. The additive has done wonders for the car performance and it is no longer burning oil. I'm thrilled. Thank you Auto Zone...National City!
previously purchased a light bulb to replace my brake light only to realize I needed a socket wrench to keep from stripping the screw. Came in to this store and was assisted by a very helpful young man with a cross stitch tattoo on his arm. Took the time to install my brake light and wasn't rude, I fact very nice! Thanks so much! it's rare these days to get this quality of customer service. It felt like how it was back when sales staff also provided service in a neighborhood store. definitely recommend this store for your auto needs. Thanks again and merry holidays!
Stopped by this store yesterday and observed two associates at cash registers helping people. I stood waiting for one of them to finish with a customer. After finishing with the customer one associate went to the back, retrieved his jacket and started to walk past me heading outside. Mind you I have been in the store for a few minutes by this point and no one has acknowledged my presence. No "We'll be right with you" or anything of that nature. As the gentleman walked past i asked if I was in the right place. He said yes and continued out of the store. Another customer entered the store, found what he wanted apparently and got in line behind me. The only associate left working finished with his customer, looked over at us, then called the guy behind me to come to his register. I then walked out rather than make a scene. I can't say why this happened but I have an idea which I won't elaborate on at this time. In summary TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I walked in and asked if I could get someone to look at my battery and see if it still had life. The guy acted put off and said it was busy. I asked how long the wait was, his reply was it is a convenience for him to do that but he was too busy. I wish I would have gotten his name, his name tag stated he was vaccinated and he was a large man. He was either overwhelmed or just not a happy person! I do realize Sunday is a busy day, but he did not need to be rude and dismissive. Very disappointing because this place was recommended to me for having quality customer service. I did not receive any quality customer service and I was just asking questions.
Ok Marckel (sorry about the spelling) the store manager helped me with a battery change on my PT cruiser, talk about going above and beyond, he not only replaced the battery for me but did a battery cable maintenance for me and wouldn’t even take a tip, WOW! What service, I’ll be back along with everyone I can tell about this.

Walked into store, I was the only customer there and there were 3 employees on computers and cellphones. I stood there for about 5 min and nobody acknowledged me. A simple “hey well be right with you”, would’ve been fine. I walked out and decided to go somewhere else.
Sometimes customer service has been lacking and even went and made a complaint with supervisory personal. The issue was looked into and management is working with me to solve the problems.
Been a customer for a very long time. Was a customer when the outlet was called Chief Autoparts. Having an older vehicle you are always in need of replacement parts and hopefully the person behind the counter will be more oriented to serving the public then having a bad attitude that they had to show up at work today.
Employees should never deceive a customer over the phone which did happen to me from a different AutoZone outlet. I've stopped dealing with the offending AutoZone store.
This place has good customer Service. Rudy saw that I had my hands full with my little ones and assisted me with what we needed for our car in a very kind and patient manner. Thank you very much.
Alex and the team at this location on highland have went above and beyond on multiple occasions! I've noticed they get busy and people get frustrated but with the staff they have they do amazing, which imo is easily overlooked by customers who are tired and already upset about the car issue that brought them to auto zone in the first place. Phones ringing, a huge line take time but when these guys get to you they will not rush you and they make sure you get what you need!
AutoZone auto parts they will give you help as much as you need from an automobile scanner to a screwdriver to jumpstart your car to checking the battery alternator to see if it's right that will install you or light bulbs if you need help with them and maybe give you advice on what to do on your car this place is great
I was told they did price match. I get 2 oils and go to pay but then they say they dont price match w/ walmart. So cashier (big guy with ripped shirt and stinky breath that u could smell over the counter) yells at manager to ask if they did so when the manager said no. So cashier took the oils and put them to the side and said thank you.... so i gues he wasnt selling them to me. Horrible service and presentation
