Hate to be that person, but if I could leave zero stars I would.
Had a lady run into my vehicle and her insurance (Statefarm) took responsibility of the damages and had my car towed to this IAA location. After having them assess the damages and deem my car a total loss, they also refused to give me the total list of damages and how they came to this decision. I was forced to pay out of pocket to tow my car to another mechanic and get another assessment (which confirmed the damages were minor and NOT a total loss like IAA had initially deemed it).
After finally picking my car from the mechanic, I found all of my personal belongings AND my license plates had been removed and separated from the car. Neither IAA nor state farm had told me this would be done or I would have obviously come and retrieved my items when my car had first been removed from their salvage yard. It seems clear I was not told about this because by the time I got to my personal items, several things were missing including personal paperwork and any loose change that was inside. IAA was made aware and offered no resolution or explanations for this apart from blaming Statefarm for not informing me that my personal items would be removed.
Do yourself a favor and just take your car somewhere else or immediately remove any/all personal items before leaving your car in this company’s care. And ALWAYS get a second opinion!!!!
My insurance company requested that IAA pick up my car because it was declared a total loss. It took them five days to get it with no real explanation of why it took so long .When I went to retrieve my stuff from the car the car had been totally rifled through And several items missing. While there’s no way to prove who took the items, It sure is unsettling that my car had been gone through and my stuff missing. The sunglass holder was open, a car safety bag I had was gone through, money missing from the center console. Car was completely gone through by someone during this process. The people that I interacted here were friendly, but overall the process was poorly done
Great employees always nice and easy to deal with, however yard gate supposed to be open at 8 o’clock for them to bring the cars out and been few times we have to wait for over 20 minutes after 8 for them to start bringing cars out, and if you arrive 5 minutes after 430 they won’t bring you a car because its passed 430 yard hours… someone need to get this situation straightened out because we all have things and work to do waiting for 30 minutes passed 8 o’clock posted hours isn’t convenient.
Very bad , This is THE worst IAA . Good luck trying pickup a car here , they will let you wait for 3 hours , it’s not the fork lift guy faults that’s work by it self loading hundreds of car ,ITS MANAGEMENT BAD MANAGEMENT ,office it’s a joke 10 ppl doing nothing .
Employees were rude. I had to call corporate office to access my car. Items removed from my car and thrown into a box: clothes, bank deposit bags, important paperwork and an open can of Pepsi thrown in for fun. Three gift cards and cash missing from center console. They blamed tow company for missing items. Ironically Columbia and North Face jackets were among the Pepsi sprinkled things. When I questioned their actions they said they have a contract that allows everything they did. I have family that have been in towing/repo business for years. I called him while there, he said their timeline and actions were not in line with state law and a contract would not supersede state law. I plan to research applicable laws and talk to local police. I refused to sign saying I received my property. Primarily because of missing items but also due to them refusing to give me a copy of the form they wanted signed. My advice - avoid completely. If you must deal with them I suggest documenting every interaction with them, take a witness if possible. I would never buy a car from an auction there.
Manager was very unprofessional
I drove all the way from Charlotte NC to purchase a vehicle
And the folk lift staff damaged it
And the manager had a nerve to have a attitude
Place is ridiculous
Really no stars that place so disorganized. Took over hour to pick up car. No management skills. Place is a zoo. Why corporate allows this much craziness & wonder why they can't keep drivers or employees. If going be prepared to wait long time.
This place is the worst, 1 to 2 people at the desk and they take there time no matter how short or long the line is I wish I could rate 0 stars, the second to worse IAA I’ve been to next to the one in Houston TX
BE AWARE THEY ARE REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! It’s a must you call in advance before you go there! I waited over 2 hours for my car just for the workers ( mainly a lady at the front desk with orange/red hair) to have an attitude with me just for asking why my car was taking so long... they decided to tell me to come back another day because they we’re certain they weren’t going to find my car that day after making me wait 2 hours.... and they ignore you when you walk in like they don’t see you. If i can rate this place 0 stars i would. Nothing but rude and unprofessional workers.
Inept people work here i called every week for 2 months to find out when they revived my title they kept telling me that they did not have it. when i got fed up i asked for a duplicated title then they magically found it after to months! I found out hey had it within a week and sat on it for two months. These people run a bad shop.
So disappointed used to be a good branch with good people working in there, our company been with them for over 6 years buying 10-30 units a month now zero, very unorganized, no customer service, won't allow to even start a car on a preview day, can not do business like that, they forgot who is feeding them and who are their customers.
-5 star review, one of the absolute worst Iaai location. They have so much workers but no organisation. There is always a huge waiting line. Apart from that they lose everything from documents to car keys. No responsibility or partial reimbursement. They absolutly don't care about you the customer. If you can, don't buy from this branch go somewhere else. And if your a trucker, good luck because the line is long..
The Worst Branch IAAI has, to bad it is my local branch also. Purchased a Vehicle Run & Drive with Keys, I Was not handed keys in office, so assumed it was in car like usual. Such a long line to receive your vehicle, so i forgot to check for keys when i was there, because i was in a rush after waiting 1.5 hrs to receive vehicle. Got Vehicle to the garage and it did not have the keys Inside. Contacted IAAI and was on hold for over 8 mins. Eventually spoke with manager, He said vehicle is not there responsibility after it leaves the yard and that they wont do anything to fix this issue. They sold Vehicle Run & Drive with keys but doesn't have keys. Front counter workers are slow, Vehicle loaders are rude and are not carfull with the vehicles. I have dealt with a lot of IAAI branches, and this is by far the worst branch. STAY AWAY.
