The help I received from Jay was outstanding! He not only went out of his way to find the best replacement wiper blades for my SUV, he made sure I got the most competitive price. I asked him if he could show me how to replace one of my wipers and he just did all 3. He was great to deal with and honestly cared about my customer experience. Thank you, Jay! I came in 2 months ago to have my battery tested and Rob said it still had some juice in it and didn’t need to be replaced right away. I came back today and he remembered me and my car and got me hooked up with a new battery in less than 20 minutes!
Good selection. However Tony's extremely impatient and rude. I get having a bad day but you don't have to slamming your hand on the counter and yelling in frustration
Ashley and John helped us on our way home. We had a light bulb out and they helped us Find the correct bulb gave us the tools to replace it all this right before close. There are a few people still left. That will go the extra mile

I had an awesome experience at Advance Auto Parts due to a professional, friendly and knowledgeable young man, Drayon Trent. I am a senior citizen and didn’t know what to use to keep the inside of my car clean. I gave him my price range and Drayvon showed me various options. I went in to get my battery tested and the Sales Associate was helpful. I have done a few on line orders and have been pleased. I can typically find what I need here.
If you haven’t tried ordering your part online for in store pick up you are missing out. I had a car battery going dead, they had a wide selection available, ordered the replacement, picked up when they said it was ready, swapped it out in 30-45 mins and return the old one for the core refund. Super happy with the AGM. Staff was friendly and personable.
I spent the last 2 days trying to find the proper size positive post battery connector for my 2010 Dodge. (You'd think it would fit a standard size, but no, thanks Mopar! 😂) But Jeremy came through and saved the day! He found the proper one that fit, and now my Dodge is up n running again. 🥰 THANK YOU!
My wife and I really wanted to buy some things for our van at our nearby Advanced Auto Parts. Unfortunately, when we called to ask a question the guy put us on hold for over 20 mins. We really wanted to buy the parts so we called several more times and they kept putting us on prolonged hold times. After the third time, it was clear they didn’t want our business so we took our money to NAPA across the street.
Two employees told me that this $240.00 alternator was the part I needed for my make, model and, year car. Turns out, they were both wrong and they sold it to me anyway. When I drove 20 some miles to one of two stores entire Richmond area that had the part in stock, the employee helping me did an excellent job of mansplaining how ignorant I am.
The staff at the Ashland store were very helpful and apologetic when I returned the part.
Make sure you read your receipt regardless what the clerk tells you repeatedly. I had to have them order an air filter for one car and a cabin air filter for a different car. He ordered filters for the same car, not the two different cars. Then he told me three times the filters would be in at 3:30pm today but when I went in to get the parts, another clerk showed me where the parts aren't due in until tomorrow. After I left the store, that's when I noticed that the first clerk ordered both filters for one car. There are four different auto parts stores within about two blocks of each other. I obviously picked the wrong one. Wasted time, gas, and money on this trip.
Sherman is THE MAN! Sherman went above and beyond any and all expectations. He ensured that we knew what was needed to fix our problem. Sherman's good nature, sense of humor, and knowledge saved what could have been a tearful and frustrating breakdown for these out of towners.
The only regret we have is that we do not live locally and cannot make this Advance Auto Parts our home store.
This particular store, especially Sherman and another gentleman one night saved me. I needed windshield wiper blades and they came to my rescue with an act of kindness that truly surprised me. I hope they both know how much they are appreciated for their kindness. I will go out of my way to shop this store!
I placed a order earlier today. It said free delivery and according to the website it would be delivered by 4 pm. 5qts of oil and a filter cartridge. I get a confirmation email saying it will be here by 8 pm. It is now 8:08 pm. I have not received or heard anything when my order will be delivered. I will never do that again. BS
Went for a simple battery change. The employee was on a personal phone call throughout the interaction. I didn’t know if he was talking to me or the person on the phone. He was clearly very distracted and his language was unprofessional.
The service there was excellent. I saw the fact that I was handicapped and could not move like I wanted to they came from behind the counter and got everything I needed. You could not ask for more assistance voluntarily
Would give 3 stars but the customer support here is not a priority to the representatives.. When customer satisfaction/support should be every single employee's first priority!! I waited almost 15 mins just to pay for my stuff...
With an older vehicle, getting an adapter from the electric system to the battery was difficult. The experienced staff were able to replace the adapter, and provide help in getting a part that would work with the model year we own at no extra charge.
Service was good, just took a while to get service and phone was ringing constantly while employees contained about the manager being lazy. To be fair, he did look annoyed when he was finally summoned.
