I have trouble trusting mechanic shops because i’ve had bad experiences but i brought my car here to Ashland Garage and had a mechanic named Ricky and he took very good care of my vehicle and i had an amazing experience with him he was great and I will be coming back for anything my car needs. I’m always skeptical when going to the mechanic that they will sell me a bunch of services that I don’t need, but they took the time to explain things to me and help me make an informed decision about any extra work they recommend. The woman who worked in the front was well informed and helped me understand what was going on with my car.

So this happened last year but I'm still gonna tell you guys (I was told to delete it), also because the employee could still be working here…I took my car in for spark plug replacement, and I was in the waiting room (one of the employees didn't know I was watching them), they took my car for a joyride and he guns it down the street up and down the block and squealed the tires at the start. Keep in mind: I had a dash cam on my car. He unplugged my dash cam before he pulled out of the driveway. How do I know he unplugged it? Well, the dash cam only turns off if the car is off or simply unplugging the dash cam…the only footage I had was the car in the middle of backing out of the mechanic shop and then the video ends…the car was on at the time. So he unplugged it to hide evidence that he neglected my car. As he pulls back in, he's just revving the car acting like it's his. Then when he gets out, he's just spamming the lock button on the car’s fob making the car beep a million times for no good reason just to be goofy. They have no respect for other people's nice cars like mine was. later I was told that employee got fired, but he never was! They are a bunch of con artists on top of all this coming from multiple people I know. I would not trust these people to even change a cabin filter. BTW, when I got my car back, the dash cam was then plugged back in..go figure… BEWARE.

Another great experience with the friendly and professional team at Ashland Garage. I needed an oil change and a new tire. I've been taking my cars to Ashland Garage for three years. The quality of their work is 100% top notch. Superior customer service and the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen in a public business. A+++

Went there for a state inspection which unfortunately failed due to a tire issue. I was worried about how much it was going to cost and when I was going to be able to get it fixed. Red haired lady was amazing and scheduled me for the following day with a new tired ordered as well. Got everything taken care of the next day for a low price. They just made a lifetime customer!

We were traveling from Maine back to Georgia and picked up a chunk of sharp concrete in our tire. Someone at the truck stop recommended Ashland Garage. Ricky was so kind, courteous and efficient and fixed us up in no time! Highly recommend this garage! Thank you, Ricky!

I came in to get my state inspection done and my vehicle unfortunately failed the first time around. Jeremy and his team explained to me the work my car needed and made the entire process of getting it fixed very simple! They scheduled my fix and had me up and running again in no time. Thanks to them, my car now passes inspection and even runs a bit smoother in my opinion. They work very efficiently and all members of staff were excellent to work with! I will be returning in the future with any concerns I may have.

From an Ashland local, I cannot recommend this place enough. Staff is great and efficient. They ordered and replaced my transmission in my Explorer without incident and was the cheapest option after calling several other transmission shops. 10/10.

After 3 visits to Richmond Volvo and each time coming back with a new issue that in no way was associated with the prior repair (per the dealer) I gave up on them and took a friends advice to try Ashland Garage. Jeremy and his employees are absolutely wonderful. I have used Ashland Garage numerous times for my vehicle as well as my mom's. Last week my truck let me down by overheating and of course I had it towed to AG. Before end of business, I knew what was wrong and the cost and after having it fixed Jeremy called me the following week to ask how it was doing (never had that before). Thank AG I have finally found my mechanic.

This is a great shop, with a friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy staff. Jeremy and his crew have kept all three of my 12+ year old cars running smoothly and I suspect will do so for many years to come. I know very little about cars, so finding a garage I can trust has meant a great deal to me. Pricing has been fair and the quote given is what I have paid (except for the time they saved me $100 on a new radiator!). Service has been speedy. I highly recommend Ashland Garage!

My 2019 Infiniti have needed a few fixes and I’ve had great experiences with Jeremy and his team at Ashland Garage. Their prices are fair and they get the work done quickly. I also appreciate the nice waiting area space. Makes it very convenient for me to bring my laptop to work while I wait. They are now my go to car repair shop.

We recently took our 2020 Passport to Ashland Garage for scheduled maintenance and were so impressed with the pricing and service we received. About a week after this vehicle was serviced, we had an incident with our truck that wasn't planned for. It was a very expensive part, but Jeremy not only went out of his way to get us the best price possible on the part, but the installation fee was considerably lower than others in the area - that's customer service you just don't see anymore. We'll be a loyal customer for scheduled/unscheduled work and highly recommend to everyone!

I had to have a tire changed with relatively short notice, and they were willing to accommodate me. The staff is caring and courteous. Really love this place: awesome decor, even in the bathroom! (Today, I had some light food poisoning from my lunch earlier in the day, and it was a relief having access to such a nice bathroom!) Honestly, I live 30 minutes away, but this place is always so fast and friendly that I always go here now.

Wasn't sure what to expect of this place, the location was a national chain previously. Not once have I been disappointed in service or professionalism. Affordable repairs and maintenance as well. Very good about job estimates in terms of time and cost. Glad to have them in town.

My fellow pickup truck nuts and myself are constantly looking for local, reputable, reliable, and affordable places to have work done on our trucks that we can't do ourselves. Ashland Garage is just that place. Trista and Doug that work the customer service are wonderful, honest people. I needed welds on my after-market MBRP performance exhaust to eliminate leaks. The welds were clean, tight and the cost came in within $5 of the original estimate. We're big on referrals and Ashland Garage certainly has mine!

Wonderful, family owned business. They offered free oil changes, food, and music on their openning day. We we're able to meet the mechanics and the owners. Clean and very professional. This is a place people will want to frequent.
