Took my '02 F250 7.3 Powerstroke there after calling around and researching that Stanley's is the place to go for these types of trucks. They surely didn't disappoint me and went above and beyond with their friendly professionalism and quick turnaround. I had such a great experience with them the first time that I trusted them to state inspect both the truck and our fifth wheel. Again, super friendly, efficient and quick. Their waiting room sofas are very comfortable too! I'll surely be continuing to take my truck and trailer to them.
Friendliest staff, never oversells you, and gets the job done. I have multiple mechanics in a 15 min radius of me but i drive 35 just to go to them. Hard recommend.
I drove a 7 hour round trip to purchase a camper that they had for sale on Facebook marketplace. It was listed as having cosmetic issues but ready to tow. I got there and in addition to the cosmetic issues, there were several other non cosmetic problems, 3 flat tires, none of the light work and there was no way to test anything like the AC, fridge, slide out. Etc. This was disappointing but I negotiated with the person that I had been in contact with the whole time. We agreed to a price and I hooked up the trailer. Then another person came over to tell me that he could not sell it at the price that was already agreed to and he would need $400 more. I explained the issues that I found that were not mentioned before I made the drive and my inability to test the functionality of anything inside, to which he responded that I should have come more prepared. I came prepared for what I was told to expect and I negotiated based on the fact that I was taking a big risk on a lot of unknowns and I really didn't appreciate being talked down to nor did a appreciate the price going up AFTER negotiations.
I have been coming to Stanley’s for many years and within the last 6.5 yrs drive from Petersburg to them for all my auto needs!! I recommend all my friends to them for fantastic service and noone has ever had any issues! They get you in fairly soon and work diligently if you have to wait because they know time is valuable!! They have never taken advantage of me (which as a woman you hear horror stories from women who dealt with other shops who have been), always fair, will tell you if something needs to be done or not, and if it doesn’t they won’t convince u otherwise. I never question when they tell me a repair needs to be done, HONESTY goes a long way!!! I can’t say enough about them- they surely have a customer for life-
Brought our 2015 corvette here wasn’t 100% sure what it was but it was quickly diagnosed and we were told the price and how long it would take. Ended up being a large job and they had it done within a couple of days. Really impressed and with having a rental car business we always need a reliable place to go and this is it. Super happy will definitely be back!

Worse repair shop ever! I would advise everyone I know to avoid this place at all cost! They do very shady car repairs and they don't stand behind their work.
These guy's have it together . Friendly staff always willing to help. They have always been there for us . Been doing business here for years and hopefully more years to come.
Amazing and friendly people, with very efficient service and a comfortable, spacious waiting area. They are also very honest and up front with you. Really the way a business should be run. I highly recommend them for all your auto repair needs. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.
Took my truck to this shop for engine repair and they said there was nothing wrong but my front brakes and AC fan motor. Well got those both taken care of and the next day I thought I smelt something burning but I didn't think it was my truck because they just looked at the whole truck, but the next day I noticed smoke coming from my tire area and it smelt like burnt rubber, long short of it this place didn't fix anything or actually look over the truck and on top of that the work they did do I'm having to get redone because it was horrible done. I've called them twice with no call back. I will never return and I have told others never to bring their vehicles here. I would personally push my car past their shop if I need repairs done instead of using their services again. Oh and for a bill of almost $300 I would expect things to have actually gotten looked over.
Dropped car off on a Wednesday after hours, Car sat until the following Monday at 3pm and still no one had looked at it. No return calls and I had to continually contact business as to status of my car. Had to take car to another repair shop. I would NOT recommend this repair shop!
Have used them for several years for inspection and repair. We have always been pleased with their work and cost of repairs. I would definitely recommend them!
My Ford Expedition developed a an engine rattle. Richmond Ford looked the truck over and told me I needed a new engine to the tune of 10k. I took the truck out to Jeff and after his team checked into it they had it fixed and back running like new for under $500. Amazing people and business done how it should be.
I heard they have comfortable sofas in there waiting room...... I haven't had an opportunity to sit on them because I'm never there that long they always get me in and out!!! And I think that's awesome
Great experience. Straight up with you. Im a mechanic and I couldnt of did it any cheaper or faster if I got the parts and did the work my self. They fix what is needed and dont just replace parts if they are not bad. Deffianly do business with them in the future and recommending ppl to them.
Their nice and try to get you so you don't have to wait very long. They let know if you have any problems with your vehicle and if they can help you with it.
This place is awesome. My car broke down right down the street from Stanley's. I called Stanley and was allowed to bring my car in for over night they checked my car out next morning. I'm so grateful
My sister had a tune-up and oil change done on her Ford Explorer and was shocked to get the bill of over $300 on the service for oil change and spark plugs replaced. They claimed they spent 2-1/2 hours on the job and not even two weeks later her Explorer is idling extremely fast. I feel like most women, we get taken advantage of by mechanics. Now my poor sister is in need of another trip to the mechanic which she can barely afford!!!
Customer service was amazing! Had a flat tire on the highway and had the car towed to them without an appointment. They ordered me a tire and got in a very quick time frame and had it mounted and ready to go before i knew it! Would absolutely return for service!
I took my car in to be inspected, and they promptly reviewed my car and provided me with a list of things that needed to be repaired in order for my car to pass. I would definitely recommend their services to my friends, family, and anyone else I know. The office personnel is courteous and the shop personnel is prompt.
