Bought a Ford Escape here a couple of months ago. The trade in value for my truck and the cost of the new vehicle was very fair. The sales person, Mr. Mikey Johnson, made the whole process stress free and painless. I have had very negative experiences with auto sales in the past, so it was a great change of pace to have Mr. Johnson be open, honest, and fair. We plan on buying a vehicle here for my wife in the near future because of the great customer service we received. Service department is great too. Quick, professional, and always punctual. Give this place a try if you’re in the market for a vehicle, and be sure to ask for Mr. Mikey Johnson. You won’t regret it!

We found previously RECENT repaired axel seal leaking while traveling on I95 through VA in RV. I started calling RV repair shops further North, not one had opening for 2-3 days. Because we have a Ford chassis, husband suggested to call a Ford dealership. I googled dealerships close to I95 North and found Sheehy Ford in Ashland VA about 30 miles ahead of us. I was so incredibly blessed to have Brad Major answer the phone. After explaining we our problem and that we had another 750 miles to drive, Brad immediately told us to drive in. He took vin number over phone to order parts after we explained previous fix, and they would arrive for a 7:00am appointment he made for us. He let us stay in RV overnight at dealership and even gave us electric plug in. A very nice car porter (George) even checked on us before closing the dealership for the night and we found out he is also a native of our home state which led to a very pleasant fun conversation. Brad knocked on our door for our appointment in morning and his team got to work and he kept us updated during the morning. He gave us a fair price with written detailed bill & explanation of repair plus a video we can use to get our $ back from recent previous repair. We cannot thank Brad Major or Sheehy Ford enough for the hospitality and allowing us to continue our drive safely home after fixing our RV. DEFINITELY USE SHEEHY FORD for your auto/RV issues. Sheehy treated us like family we are so Thankful!!!!! We even will stop in next year as we drive South for the winter to say “Hi”

I’ve had a incredibly difficult 18 months since my accident, and finding someone like Casey at Sheehy Ford was a true blessing. Casey has been absolutely amazing—transparent at all times and, above all else, incredibly kind. She is the consummate professional and a salesperson who is as honest as the day is long. If you want someone who will treat you right and tell it to you straight, go see Casey. I can’t recommend her enough.

We broke down on a roadtrip a few weeks ago and had to leave our car at the Sheehy Ford of Ashland. Through the bad winter weather and multiple repairs, Aaron and the entire team at Sheehy was wonderful, communicative, and dedicated to delivering outstanding service. They made an anxious situation into a hopeful one. We cannot recommend them more, particularly Aaron who walked us through the entire process and made us feel so valued and taken care of.

Started my search online. Christopher A. promptly responded. He was unable to be there the day I was available but left me with Lisa J. She was wonderful, very knowledgeable, and helpful. Tony in finance was excellent. The staff was top notch!!! Purchased my 2026 Ford Explorer and am so very pleased. We had a wonderful experience at Sheehy Ford Ashland.

My granddaughter and I purchased a used car from Sheehy, 2018 Kia Sportage. Now my rating would be 5 but I have a concern. First the salesman Mikey was outstanding, he was straight forward and clear about what the vehicle was being sold at and what type of warranty it came with. So I am happy with that part. 2nd the maintenance team was great, but the items they fixed should have been done when they did that 139 point inspection. Nevertheless when we found that the wheel bearings were bad they replaced them at no cost to us, I was also glad that they replaced all four as a precaution since 3 were identified the 4th surely would be going next. They agreed and replaced it. Thank you. 3rd the finance officer was able to get us a great interest rate for the deal. Thank you, now my concern. The policy that they are promoting that is under the blue warranty, I was told only had a 5 day return policy, now I wasn't looking to return it but just wanted clarity on that part. I called another Ford dealership and also went on a chat at another dealership and both verified that under the blue warranty there is a 14 day return policy. So for someone there after I asked for verification to say say that was wrong is wrong. The website has it at every dealership 14 days so you can't give out false information. Other that concern I was very pleased and at least from my experience it was great. Oh I also forgot they promised us a second key and the key maker went to my granddaughters work place a made key for her at no cost too us, and they also filled up our tank a second time. Great service

We came across this dealer by random browsing of a vehicle. My daughter saw a car she liked so we went and looked at it. From the time we arrived there until the day we drove the car away, the staff was helpful and kind. Rita Eggeraat greeted us and helped us through the purchase with patience and kindness. Luis Trevino went above and beyond when he overheard our conversations and that we were shopping for my daughter. He stepped in right away and helped get the right price, made the experience more personable, and followed up quickly with all our needs, concerns and questions. Rita and Luis are great and we also appreciated our time with Megan Paule as we closed out the purchase. Great team and we are grateful for their personalities and professionalism. Thank you!

TO MY FELLOW VETERANS, I would highly NOT recommend buying a vehicle from here. I recently purchased a ford expedition that had the upper part of the drivers side headlight daytime running light burnt out. I was told they would fix it and they are choosing not to. Even though it’s ford blue oval certified, which means it should have been replaced before even getting the certification. After purchasing they said it would be covered under that certification, which was absolutely false. So here I am having to purchase the headlight assembly myself and I will take it to another ford dealership that will keep their word about warranties and repairs. I guess this is a dealership more worried about sales than customer service. Highly disappointed and will never deal with them again or recommend anything from this dealership

I was told I needed almost $1000 worth of work so my inspection would pass. They rejected because I refused. I took my car to a certified mechanic and none of the issues were true other than a bulb needing to be replaced. Sheehy wanted $139 just to change a bulb.in the rear of my car. Don't trust them any longer.

My rating is 4.5 stars, thus rounded up to 5. Chris Best, the Service Advisor that worked me, is awesome. Greatly explained everything and very personable. Very impressed with the Sheehy Ashland operation after being a very loyal Richmond Ford customer for the last 15 years. People like Chris make you want to come back.

Upon having the turbo fail on my 2024 Ford Escape at 50k miles, I took it back to this location for a warranty repair. It was diagnosed right away and was told the parts would be in the next day. After not hearing back from the service rep, I had to call to find out when my vehicle would be ready and was given a date of 2-weeks out! How could this be possible? Apparently they only have two service technicians and have a process to diagnose right away, then hold your vehicle hostage after the repair is ordered without disclosing that they are weeks behind due to a lack of qualified technicians and lack of competent management that can keep them. No loaner vehicles available either, now I am left to pay out of pocket for a rental car when this is a Ford problem. I feel the wait time should have been disclosed upfront which would have allowed me to find another dealership in better standing. The customer service rep, Aurora, has been extremely polite, but unfortunately she's subject to inept management and a deceitful sales process. Avoid this place like the plague.

12/8/25 during a snow storm, the back wiper blade on my 2019 Ford Edge was frayed and would not clean my rear window. I tried to get a wiper blade at our local auto parts store and it was not available. I drove to this dealership and purchased the wiper blade from the parts dept. for $27 or $28. I ask the guy in the parts dept if he or someone could help me put it on my car. He said that should be no problem stop in the service dept and ask if someone could help you put it on. When I ask the service dept if they had someone available that could help put the wiper blade on my car, a lady service advisor that was helping another customer quickly responded to let me know that would be a $45 labor charge. I purchased this car from this dealership in 2019 with the VIP membership and it has been one thing after another with them. The next day a person that I work with put the wiper blade on my car and it literally took him 2 minutes. Just fyi, this is the type of service you get with Sheehy Ford in Ashland. Beware!!

If you’re a buyer who wants to deal with straightforward and honest people, this is the place to shop. I’ve been looking for a new F-150 for a few months now and Casey was by far the easiest to communicate with via email/text. She made an effort to always be responsive quickly and made the final deal so smooth. Once we had a price set, I drove 2 hours (they were the best deal for me in the DMV) to finalize paperwork. She was upfront with me that it was going to be busy, but she managed to flow with multiple customers without making you feel unattended! Financing was a breeze and even though it was a busy day in the dealership, I was in and out of financing in about 10 minutes! Overall, if you’re a no nonsense customer who values time, are looking for a place that’ll give you a great deal, and back it up with outstanding customer service, I highly recommend Sheehy Ford of Ashland!!

We were greeted upon arrival. Sherry was exceptional, she asked what she could assist us with. Sherry was attentive, able to communicate effectively, was not pushy, she understood and immediately knew what was available in our price range. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

$250 diagnostic fee to replace a cooler line I told them was leaking. Shop rate is $220/hr. $2100 bill to replace a transmission cooler line and cooler. This place is $70-$100/hr MORE than most places in the area. They did do a good job with the work and communicated well. However these prices just feel like absolute gouging. They also curbed my rear tire pretty good when parking the truck after service.

Purchased our first new car since 2016 and Sheehy Ford of Ashland made that experience one of the best. David White was our salesperson, and we cannot say enough good things about our experience working with him to get the car we wanted. From the test drive, paperwork, free lunch and many laughs, our time at Sheehy Ford of Ashland was five stars. We were not pressured into anything, and the end result was an EV Mustang Mach E that we will LOVE driving for many years. This is our first EV and it does not disappoint. So, if you are looking for a new or used car, give Sheehy Ford of Ashland and David White a chance to put you into the car of your dreams.

My late husband had a complete care plan on his 2010 Ford F150. I dropped the truck off at 8 am and Aaron took care of me. I mentioned that a friend had dropped me off and I'd return before 11 am. He assured me he'd do all he could to expedite things, but that waiting customers came first. He was very friendly, professional, and explained things thoroughly. I returned at 10 am and my vehicle was done!!! I was so pleased. The vehicle had been inspected, the oil changed, and the tires rotated. Sheehy and Aaron, in particular, exceeded my expectations.

She was understanding of my needs, was responsive, wonderful at communication and coordination, and 100% gave her all from start to finish getting in to the perfect vehicle. She’s also very patient. Easily the best dealership, and salesperson, within 200 miles of Richmond!

My experience at Sheehy Ford was smooth and straightforward. Mikey was my salesman and made my purchase of a Ford F-150 extremely pleasant. He was relatable, helpful, and kept things low-pressure. I had already researched and knew exactly which truck I wanted, and Mikey got us into it for a test drive quickly. The drive was great, and he took the time to answer all of our questions—tracking down information if he didn’t have an answer on hand. While waiting to go into finance, we were greeted by the sales manager, Mr. Vincent Terrell, who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He was kind, down-to-earth, and made us feel welcomed. The dealership is clean and has a great selection of vehicles. I drove an hour and a half to get to Sheehy Ford in Ashland, and it was well worth the trip. Highly recommend checking them out!

I had the best car purchase experience at Sheehy Ford of Ashland! I live an hour away so I made a phone call prior to arriving to ensure the car was still available! Once arriving, Chris had everything ready to go to start our test drive and forward the process. Chris made purchasing a breeze! Chris was very professional and helpful and was amazing to work with. The finance Manager also had top notch professionalism. Overall 5/5 stars experience!
